Terrible service, and the second time in 3 years that we've had to order from them (due to the school using them for booklists) that we have had a problem. 3 years ago (first order with them), the books were meant to be delivered to the school, however, when my son started the teachers said that his books had not been delivered so they were supplying him with books that had been left by previous students. I called Edsco to be told by them that the books had been confirmed as being delivered to the school, and after checking with the school again, was told by Edsco that because the books had been marked as delivered that they would not resupply or provide a refund. This year I placed an order with Edsco on the 9th January (they were not open over the period up until then, and I believe were on holidays from the 22nd of December), expecting that they should be ready within the week, and that I would be picking them up so that there was no chance of them disappearing again. I called them today (17th January) to be told that the books would not be ready until AT LEAST (emphasis on that, repeated for my benefit) the end of the week (school starting next week), or probably later than that. I cancelled my order, and now will have to find somewhere else to purchase the books from. I guess Officeworks is my next best choice at this stage, but I will never order books from them again, and highly recommend that anyone else who is considering it be very careful with delivery addresses and times. Update: Officeworks came up with the goods, and anything else I needed came from Schoolstuff in East Brisbane (great place to buy school supplies)... I'll know now for next year... read more
