This is not the place to come if you want lines shaved into your head, or are trying to be some kind of hipster with a lot of beard products going on...but if you want a well-crafted professional-looking haircut then just come here. Dave does sell Suavacito too, if you're trying to rock your new age pompadour. Dave was a real gentleman barber, and gave me a great haircut, as well as a lot of local dining tips and some cool history on the area. Go visit this guy and pet the shop dog, a boxer named "Hero". Okay I just have to say this is a beautiful barber shop!! They have alot of potential here if the…read morebarbers were competent. However when I got my hair cut it was poor in my opinion for several reasons. The primary reason being that I was rushed through my haircut. The line work was significantly worse than I had expected. When giving someone a haircut things should be straight. It's so common it's beyond common sense. Secondly, there's uneven parts of my haircut. Which proves to me that this barber is not here for cutting hair, but he is here for the money. When I come into a barber shop I am expecting a visit that is simple and not over complicated. However, with their checking and receiving system it took me over 5 minutes to simply pay for my transaction. This is a small part of the overall process but it plays quite the significant role to me. I am expecting a smooth transaction rather than an unexpected detour in the process. Overall, I would rate this barbershop 2/10. With that being said there are some bright features of this barbershop that make it unique. However, I would not recommend this to others seeking a haircut. Simply because I received a bad haircut my first trip here.

My father-in-law will only have his hair cut by Robin since he moved to the area in 2021. He tried another place in Bozeman once because we didn't have time to make it to Three Forks that day and now refuses to go anywhere else but R&D. The haircuts that both Robin and Dave are amazing. We can say exactly what we want and they both will do better than we pictured. When we come to visit my father-in-law from out of town, I make it a point to keep my hair long in the weeks leading up. I normally get my haircut at a big brand name shop near home, but I find I have to come in every few weeks to keep it the way I like it. If I'm lucky enough to time my haircut on a trip to Bozeman, Robin and Dave do such a good job that I don't have to get another haircut for almost two months. If you're in Bozeman, and need a haircut, make the effort to head to Three Forks and check out R&D's, you won't regret it! Just make sure you bring cash!
