It is August in Sicily and the lure of the gelato shops is irresistible. Arriving in the small hamlet of Acitrezza we surveyed the restaurants and landed at Eden Bar for a late afternoon treat. We tasted a few flavours before I tried a mix of a chocolate hazelnut that tasted like a Ferrero Roche combined with a scoop of caffe. It made a good combo. Reasonably priced and definitely a happening scene for people watching with an abundance of people on the patio. We saw some people ordering what looked like a milk shake but they were dipping bread into it. - will have to investigate what that is all about.
