I did my research on lawyers before I came to this office. There were reviews that I was worried about, but they got me in for an appointment, so I figured what the hell. Was a pretty typical appointment, compared to the two other law firms I had talked to. Checked in with the receptionist, and filled out a form with my info. The office was nice, even had a dog that greeted me. Staff were all nice, it was a bit quiet in there though for my comfort. So I waited a couple of minutes and was brought into a conference room, where I waited legally another minute when one of the lawyers came in to talk with me. I was impressed with how straight forward he was, didn't bs me like some other lawyers did, or like you hear about. He gave me advice on what to do next and what they could do for me, asking with tips on how to save some money on parts of my case. Also didn't pull any punches on how my actions might have hurt me either, which was hard to hear, but needed it. So, I did end up retaining Andrew at the firm. He told me from the beginning that he would try to save money for me and not do extra things to jack up the costs. I trusted him, and within a couple months he had my divorce pretty much done after getting an agreement on later paper. He did end up asking for more retainer money, but I knew that in advance because he told me that often happens, and he always gave me invoices showing the work he did. In the end he ended up costing me less total than the two other lawyers were asking for in the initial retainer. I was happy, and I got to move on. I don't know what happened with the one bad reviewer, but that was not my experience at all. There were times I didn't like hearing things from him, but that was what had to be said. He was very professional and seemed to know all of the ins and outs about everything pertaining to our case.
