Celles-ci présentent l'avantage d'être dans une galerie marchande avec des horaires plus souples et surtout un parking, ce qui est non négligeable.

Ahhh, Monoprix! A staple of French cities (though not little towns as of yet), this store carries…read moreeverything but the kitchen sink (some locations may stock kitchen sinks). A great place to pick up groceries, toiletries, fresh baked goods, even some cute clothes! Monoprix loses a couple of stars because it could be a little cheaper, particularly when it comes to groceries. Still a great place to go if you only want to make one stop!
Du LOL
It's not the Galarie Lafayette in Paris but a nice store. It's going through a whole lot of…read morerenovation at the moment and finding the entrance can be a challenge. Staff in here do speak English and quite helpful. They have a big gourmet section as well with a restaurant. Not sure what it's like as we did not try it. All in all an ok shopping experience.
My mom found a Sinequanone outfit that she was profoundly happy with. The salesperson was very…read moreattentive and accommodating. As we were exiting the store, the bag sounded the store's alarm. We paused and then were approached by security person. He proceeded to take the bag to a very busy cash register. He balled up the top first and aggressively rubbed it against a metal shelf. He did the same with the matching skirt. Then he proceeded to shove it back into the bag. I stopped him and wanted to see both pieces. He snagged both the top and the skirt, ruining a $240 outfit which was just purchased and wrapped with exquisite care. After speaking with the security man , he refused to help us. We went upstairs to look for a possible exchange. None were available so we had to fight to get a refund for the damaged goods. We waited at least 45 minutes and the 1 cashier who could do the credit. We will NEVER go there again due to the abundant amount of ineptitude and stupidity. It was so very disappointing to see my mom one minute so elated and then two seconds later subjected to such horrid treatment!!! I will make certain to speak honestly regarding the hideous service this department store rendered to my friends who travel and love to spend!

We are second in line, behind a woman who was putting her items on the belt and chatting away with the cashier. The cashier IGNORED us entirely. No "Bonjour"! As is very customary in France. We are buying One Sandwich. So then the customer in front of us stopped putting items on the belt. The belt is covered in items and the Cashier does nothing about it! She just keeps chatting with the customer - it is clearly social - and no issues with any items. 3 Full Minutes Pass. No items are being rung up. The cashier keeps having a conversation with the lady in front of us - and ignoring us entirely. Remember - there is no self-checkout and no other line to use. So, we finally just give up. We leave our one item on the belt and start to walk out. Suddenly, the Cashier starts barking at us in a nasty tone "where do we think we are going"?! And that we can't leave until she checks my wife's purse and my backpack. LOL That's not happening. You don't get to treat us this way then think you can impose your will on us - which is against French law. This was our first visit to Monoprix - and our LAST! MONOPRIX - We are DONE WITH YOU - FOREVER.

The cashier tells the security guy as though this is a normal, daily routine. Security guy hustles out and a minute later security guy, cereal and shoplifter return. They go in the back and before I can relay the whole story to my wife Mr. Shoplifter is walking back out. No more free cereal for you!
