bought a car from Ed Martin broke down first week. I had it they fixed it but did not fix it completely, again had problems one month later they refused to fix it. when I was talking about my car, I told him under Indiana state law they had to fix it and he said the conversation was over. I asked him where my car was. He told me parking lot with key in it and then he hung up on me. when I went to pick up my car there was no key and the car was locked. Ended up having to Uber there and Uber back home without no car. Service manager would not pick up phone when worker tried to call them to find out where the key was. Bryant McKenny was very rude he was not helpful in trying to help resolve a problem I had in get a my car fixed when i had only had the car for about 1 hour he showed me how to open the sun roof then when we tried to close it back it wouldn't work so they had to force it close by hand and in the process of doing that a park broke off of it and hit my mom in the leg no he telling me it will cost them over 10 k to fix it and I don't need to use it anyway because I didn't say I want a sunroof in the beginning so I can come pick it up. My Husband wanted to surprise me on his birthday with a new car for my birthday so we went to the Ed Martin and Anderson and my sales person was Morgan. I called her when we saw the car up for sale she explained to me that the car was getting an inspection she said they were waiting on some parts. I asked her what parts they needed to fix in the car, but she never stated. So I thought nothing of it. We drove there from Indy and bought the car two weeks later the reserve tank exploded. They tried to get me to fix that but we agreed on I will pay half two weeks later the water pump goes out and volunteered to change some gaskets we end up paying a portion and two more weeks later my car is saying that it has no oil in it. I take it to the BMW shop to get it topped off and they informed me that I have a leak by this time they had me sign a paper saying that they are not going to help me pay for more expenses and now today the coils are gone out in the car I have had this car for 3 1/2 months and I have not been able to drive it for a solid month without it being in the shop the manager Ryan he's so afraid to deal with customers he tells me one thing while we're on the phone then he sends Morgan with the bad news. I had to get in touch with the COO and he agreed to pay for some of the expenses but Ryan is a Bare minimum manager. They knew this car was no good when they sold it to me now I'm stuck with a $15,000 piece of junk I wouldn't recommend anyone to buy a piece of bubblegum from this car dealership read more

My family and I have leased the majority of our vehicles here. However, the service has been less than helpful in recent years. 2 years ago my check tire pressure light would come on daily even after filling up the tires each day. I would take it in and they would say nothing was wrong. Then, I take it elsewhere and they tell me it is a bent rim. Why couldn't service find this issue the 3 other times I brought it in? Fast forward to now, I have a 2021 Chevy Trailblazer and the check engine light is on and I have made an appointment for it to be seen. So I drop it off the night before and the entire day of my appointment no one even looked at my vehicle. What was the point of the appointment if you knew you did not have time to look at? Also, I had to call to check in with my car...no one called me? I'm like most in the car department where I have only my vehicle, so not having a car available is not an option for me. I have had numerous issues here and so has my family. Completely unacceptable. read more

I took my husband's 2016 Chevy Trax in to have a part replaced that had already been replaced once before. I also advised that the A/C control knob was not working correctly. I was told the Trax was out of warranty by 1k miles. Figures. Was told just the diagnostic for the A/C could be pricey even tho we purchased the extended warranty on it. So I decided to let my husband deal with that. Get a call to pick it up and only charge would be for the oil change and tire rotation. WHAT?! We just had that done 1k ago! Never told them to do that. Service person argued with me that I did! Why would I? Let me mention here that we have not 1, but 2 Chevy Traxs. Will be driving to Daleville or Noblesville for service going forward. read more

My experience with Ed Martin Chevrolet started on March 2. Today is April 13, over a month later and my issues continue. Let me start by explaining how easy this process was supposed to be. I applied for financing with Capital One before going in to purchase my vehicle. I walked in on March 2 with my blank check and purchased a 2013 Chevy Equinox. I felt like the sales rep, Jason, was good. He listened to what I wanted and I don't feel like he pressured me into anything I didn't want. I walked out feeling good. About a week later I was called by Capital One to tell me that they rejected the blank check because the amount financed was over the "LTV". I take partial responsibility for this because I should have checked that. My financing was done by Alex, who apparently was relatively new to this role. I called the dealership 2 or 3 times trying to find out what the status was, and clearly told them that I would write a check for the amount over LTV. They convinced me to try and get financing for the entire amount, which I agreed to. They ran my credit and were unable to find a rate to match what Capital One gave me. I told them once again, I would write a check and I did. I drove out to Anderson from Indy, wrote them a check and supposedly was done. In the meantime, I continue to get calls from Capital One telling me that the dealer still has not submitted the necessary paperwork. I finally drove out to Anderson once again to speak with Brandon in finance. I brought him a new blank check that was sent to me but he insisted that the indirect financing that they had set up was going through at the same rate and that he did not need the blank check. After all is said and done, the dealership ran my credit two times even though I already had financing secured through the blank check. The first time they ran it I authorized it but this past week they ran it yet again creating yet another inquiry on my credit and this time I did not authorize them to run it! I called Brandon to ask for an explanation, got his voicemail and as of today have yet to receive a return call explaining why my credit was run without my authorization. Not even so much as a call back. According to Capital One, my loan has still not funded. As much as I would like to recommend this dealership, they turned a very simple pre-approved financing situation into a bit of a nightmare. There are lots of options out there for purchasing a vehicle and I can assure you that I will not be back to this dealership. My advice to anyone reading this is to be very careful about who's handling your financing. read more

My search for a pre-owned Cadillac on the internet began several weeks ago. There were many disappointments along the way until I discovered Ed Martin Cadillac. I had been searching for an ATS-V coupe preferably in obsession red. There are not that many out there. My interaction with this dealer began with Dave Hagan. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable about the brand and this particular model. He completely shatters all the cliques about used car salespeople. Buying a car on the internet can be a risky proposition. Dave was very courteous, straight forward and honest. He made the process, dare I say, pleasant and less stressful. Horrible customer service, ESPECIALLY the chevy dealership. The men at the Nissan dealership told me they would not run my credit, and then I see an alert stating Nissan dealer did a credit inquiry. No one greeted myself or my family at the chevy dealership, and one lady stared at us for a few seconds, asked us one question, and never offered or sent for help. I was lied to by the sales rep. After test driving the vehicle, I wanted to sit down and discuss making the purchase. I had a trade in, but didn't have it with me. The sales rep told me to call in the vin and mileage, and then we could talk amounts over the phone and then I could come in once we agreed. Instead of that happening, after I had done as instructed, he told me he would call me back. Instead, he sold the vehicle to someone else while I was waiting for his call! I contacted the dealership regarding this issue and have not heard back, so they apparently don't care. Shameful. Liars. Beware!!! read more
