So I was really excited when I found this sewing lesson shop. It was $125 for three classes. I took Monday evening classes that were meant to be slotted for 2 hours, but our sweet teacher would go earlier and stay later to let us finish the projects. Do know that this is not a true beginner class. I wish they noted that you want to take machine fundamentals before, but as a beginner I was lost a lot of the time. Our class felt like it had way too many students at times, because our teacher took a 1:1 approach and sometimes you'd be waiting for her help for a while. This does not affect my review, but our poor teacher got sick before the second class, so there was a lot of rescheduling. She did her absolute best to accommodate us which was really kind. I wish in the Level 1 we got an overall explanation of how to do things so we weren't left lost and waiting for our teacher to help us. Do know that a good amount of the tools here are well loved. On my second class, I ended up at two broken machines and wasn't able to finish my project that night. Thankfully the teacher let me come early the third class to finish it. Each class you create a new project. We made a tote bag, a zipper pouch, and a little bucket kitchen bag. I think if I went in knowing more about the machine I would've had a better experience. If you're a true beginner, be sure to take fundamentals beforehand or learn machine basics first.

My fiance messed up his painting and the instructor helped him fix it and get him back on track. Our paintings are great but we have two of the same so the next time we went back we did a couples painting. This instructor was even better. Step by step instructions, lots of fun and interaction with us painters and she was so clear about how to do the next step. She also started a little early since everyone had arrived and it gave us a few extra minutes to complete harder steps. I never felt rushed and I love the idea of the SOS day to get help if you feel your painting isn't something you are ready to hang on the wall! If you need help from them, don't buy into their 100% NCLEX PASS rate bs. The majority of the students don't graduate they kick out over 50% of the nursing student students with no way for them to complete the program. It's very intentional. And it's very petty they tell you to keep in touch with them after graduation so that they can help you find a job but they will report you to the board of before texting you or emailing to let you know that you're doing something wrong. They lie about their clinical hours. They are a complete embarrassment to the nursing profession. Really bad reputation go to any other school.

The professors race through teaching the curriculum so that you can complete the degree on 18-20 months. When this happens, students are not learning information to retain. Students are memorizing information. Better yet, many of the students cheat to pass so that they won't get put out of their programs. When students report those cheating, it goes in one ear of the staff and out the other ear. How is it fair to those students who are actually studying and not cheating to earn lower grades than those cheaters? When students are going to the professors telling them the students are cheating, why is this constantly being overlooked? Why isn't the President or Dean doing something about it? If your average is 69.9999, the professor rounds it down to a 69 and not round up to a 70. Honestly, these are some of the most no mathematical people I've ever seen. You learn how to round numbers in elementary school but a college professor round simple numbers. If you decide to go to the nursing program and decide not to heed my warning, then stay away from LINDA PECK'S class. She teaches one thing in class and tests on something totally different. You're better off teaching yourself rather than going to her class. I don't want any medical professional to work on me that has cheated their way through school. Hence, the very reason you should consult beforehand. Don't forget to check those medical licenses. If you're a minority, you want to skip South University as they allow current students to post racial slurs etc in social media. When it is brought to the attention of the school no one says anything. If I could rate this so called university with negative stars, I would. If you don't know now, now you know.
