This is a very popular supermarket. The parking is always full. I would say it has the most varied selection of items for a supermarket, which is why it is so popular. The wine selection is pretty impressive. They have a nice selection of craft beers too. I would recommend double checking the dates on specialty items, like craft beer, gourmet breads, etc... They aren't things that most people are grabbing so they tend to sit on the shelf longer. That is why I prefer going to specialty grocery stores for certain items. La Hacienda is one of them and it is across the street by the Pep Boys. The cafeteria food is really good. They have a few tables for you to eat there, or you can take it to go. Overall, it is a good supermarket and I come here when I can. I'm just usually put off with the packed parking. read more

This is considered by many the best supermarket on the island. I obviously haven't been to all but I would believe it. People travel long distances to shop here. It pretty much has everything you need. The wine, beer, and liquor section is huge. The produce section has items that most other supermarkets don't carry, maybe only specialty markets will carry it. That is the other thing. You can find lots of specialty items here, so you have less of a reason to go to a specialty market. The cafeteria is also very good. Great place to get some tasty lunch at an affordable price. The biggest downside here is the parking. It is always packed. Also, most of the shopping carts are old. Costumer service is hit or miss. read more

They have all of the essential items you need. We were visiting and wanted to purchase some traditional Puerto Rican items and foods to bring back home and they were available. As a matter of fact we were having difficulties finding a specific item and one of the employees walked us over to find them. Great service!! read more

Huge grocery with a large selection of products. Excellent selection of local and Caribbean produce including chayote, ñame, calabaza, yucca, malanga as well as all the plantains you desire. They also have a nice selection of local and imported cheeses. I was surprised to find many Bries as well as a fondue! Their selection of Manchego is strong! There is also an on-site bakery with cakes and pastries as well as extensive selection of alcohol! So much alcohol! They have all the rums of P.R. as well as many imported liquors and hard liquids. They also have an extensive assortment of expensive liquor like Louis XIII. If you're really ballin' you could also pick up a full size jamón ibérico for a mere $800. Extensive selection of rice. A few local magazines as well as some imported from Spain. The store is not exactly modern but thee massive amount of products more than makes up for it. Many staff were available on the floor to assist us in finding items and they have an express checkout which was actually quite expresss! If you are visiting and staying in an AirBNB this should be your first stop in the area! Prices were fairly reasonable on regular grocery items, but plenty of expensive stuff as well if you want to splurge. Large parking lot as well as an over flow lot. I'd recommend parking at a distance and walking as trying to park right in front of the store is stress. read more

I loved this matket!  We've been wanting to check it out for some time but never got around to it.  We were hungry, needed to purchase a list of groceries and didnt have a lot of time.  Luckily, we passed by it, pulled into the slightly tight lot and found parking right away! The store is pretty big.  To the left, past the wine srction, which jad a great selection by the way, was a little cafeteria that served breakfast.  The prices were reasonalable and the food was not bad.  The hasbrown was greasy and mushy though.  We got 2 small coffees, 2 sandwhiches and a hashbrown for $12.00.  Next to it is a vrty tiny sushi window too where they make sushi in house for purchase.  Didnt get to try it, but it looked good. read more
