Very basic. First room wasn't cleaned. The air isn't on in any of the rooms so you need w while to cool off. Found a bed bug and they didn't seem interested or concerned. You get what you pay for. I guess this is the best this town has to offer. read more

I would not recommend staying here. I am a travel nurse and currently working overnights at the hospital. First of all, the staff, including the manager, are very rude. My door got frozen shut twice so I couldnt access my room for almost 30 minutes, this happened after working a 12 hour shift. When I went to the front desk they got a nasty attitude about helping me unlock it. Next, this place has paper thin walls, so my whole stay I could here everyone around me. The bathroom is absolutely discussing and there was mold on my shower curtain. I also had cigarettes burns in my blanket and the room smelt awful. I would absolutely recommend staying anywhere but here. read more

Management went into my room when I wasn't there, peeked through my window to look in. Honestly, i don't feel safe here just because of the people who own this hotel. Completely unacceptable. Edit: my coworker said the same lady was looking into his window too with her hands cupped on the window. What is that about??? I don't care if you're the owner or not that's completely wrong!! read more

The Econolodge IS THE ONLY hotel that allows you to bring your pet with you - dog or cat for a small fee - there is a reclining chair to sit, a regular hard chair by a desk with a good light - we ordered a K/S bed which was great, comfortable to sleep - no bugs in the place - it's VERY clean place. They recently got all new furniture for the rooms since September which was good and installing these. They bring you extra towels within the half hour when you stop @ desk or call the desk. There is a charging station for phones at one night stand. Floor has been remodeled. The Mgr. and people (staff) are helpful and friendly. We would stay here again. read more

At first sight this place looks really nice and updated. Upon further look, you could tell that the room we were in had not been used in a while. There was dust all over the room and when we went to go brush our teeth and take a shower, the collected dust at the bottom of the sink and tub rose with the water. Then the toilet was stopped up and we were told that there was no one to fix it and the only thing that they could do was provide us with a plunger and we could fix it ourselves. My husband started gagging because of all of the stuff that came out of the toilet. I would probably stay here again except for I will be bringing my own cleaning supplies which I should not have to do. We returned again October 6 and now I will never go back. When we arrived, we couldn't get the air to work and the free internet was crap. We used the data on our phones for internet. We woke up in the middle of the night to bugs in the bed and my daughter had a huge bite on her leg. We tried to complain and there was no manager on duty. I will be contacting headquarters on this. I would put this down to a zero I returned again on January 26 and I don't know what got into me. I was here in early December with a dog and we paid the dog fee. The dog got sick and puked in the room. I told the front desk and they gave me towels to clean up. I returned the following weekend without a dog and had no issues. January 26 We made our reservation on line and it was accepted. I got there only to be told that they cannot rent to me because my dog had an accident. They said even if I didn't have an animal with me I cannot have a room. I drove all the way from PA and was now stuck without any place to stay. The lady would not call anyone to ask why. They also stated that no one in my family would be able to stay there. If this is a pet friendly place and you pay the pet fee, a dog throwing up should not get you banned. I will be taking this further because I received no call or email saying that I won't be able to stay even though they had all of my information. A 7 hour drive only to get rejected. I hope NO ONE ever stays there again!!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worse enemy!!! read more

If i could rate this a zero star i would. easily the worst hotel i was at on my whole trip. i was on the hot rod power tour with thousands of other hot rods and us in town was probably the first time this econo lodge was booked completely. When we reserved a room online we asked for smoke free. and when we got there and walked into the main office it made me gag because of how awful it smelled JUST IN THE OFFICE. they said they have complementary breakfast. we didn't even try the breakfast knowing it would probably taste like cigarettes. but let me talk about the room. we walk into our room upstairs and it is filthy. the floors had stains the bathroom was dirty. the shower curtain had blood stains on the top of the curtain and the beds themself were not comfortable at all. felt like sleeping on a brick. flipped the mattress to see that the stains were all over the bottom. like when they get a stain really bad they just flip the mattress to make it better it seems. there was no chairs in there. just 2 bare desks that had dust all over them. easily the worst place i've stayed at in my life. staff seemed okay. but when i asked for a smoke free room they had no response but we can do a machine in there to pull all of the air out of the room. didn't have the patience for that considering we just drove over 5 hours to get there from the last event. do not pay attention to there google photos or photos on yelp. they are nothing close to what the rooms look like read more

Econo Lodge - i only have one picture but you can see the floor is filthy just like the room - Hotels Near Me - Eden, North Carolina

I am very pleased! The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. Sadly I had been ripped off by accidently booking my room with who I thought was Econo Lodge, but instead was "Get a Room" who charged me $72 service fee over the cost of the room and it was nonrefundable. The woman at the desk told me that they don't even get full price from them. The TV wouldn't work and a man came over immediately and figured out that someone had unplugged it from the back. We had been promised by "Get a Room" that even though the virus had most things closed we would still get a hot breakfast handed to us or delivered to our room. This was not the case but the lady at the desk took pity on me and gave me some frozen sausage sandwiches to heat in the microwave. Even though the maid didn't come in, our choice, due to COVID 19, she did give us fresh towels and asked if we needed anything. I didn't try it, but the tub had jets in it and it looked very inviting! Everyone there was so nice! I would definitely go back!!! read more

Do not stay at this hotel or even make a reservation at this hotel. We made a reservation for five rooms for a softball tournament in Eden but canceled to stay at the Hampton Inn and they still charged our credit card even though we canceled the reservation. The manager told us that we never called and it was their word against ours. It is independently owned so they can do whatever they want but I warn you do not stay at this hotel. I cannot believe that someone in this type of business could take another persons money just to get money in their own pocket. I called customer relations and they said that they could not do anything because it is independently owned. Because of them I am now out almost $300 and there's nothing that anybody can do. The only way I can hurt them now is to maybe keep some business away from them in the future, so I am relying on anybody who reads this to stay away from the Econo lodge in Eden North Carolina. THEY ARE CROOKS!!!! read more
