Parking was surprisingly easy, and once we got started, it was a block and a half of a good time. Now, we did not buy much, but we did enjoy seeing everything and talking to a few people. We were especially excited to buy fruit directly from the farmers! I got a bunch of peaches and nectarines, and let me say I have never in my life tasted such good fruit! I also tried the homemade strawberry & rhubarb pie, and bought the homemade honey with cinnamon. I also especially liked how the Farmer's Market overlooked Silver Beach. It was a nice time, and I look forward to going back before the Farmer's Market season ends this year! She has her favorite booths and at least one of them knows her by name. For part of the year (the warmer part) they are open on Tuesdays too and have a couple specials. One is the "sprouts" program for kids. It's free and upon entering, kids are given two wooden tokens to be used at a few booths for a cup or blueberries or an apple or whatever they have that day. Also on Tuesdays, the bakery makes brick oven pizza that you need to try!
