Saw mt Dr. was added another insulin, to be seen in January, They cancled my appt in January. reason Dr, is sick, they resceduled for February 27th. I call care advocate filed a complaint then my appt was scheduled for February 9th. received call from nurse about my sugars , rescheduled for January 30. Recived call. My Appt is cancled. same reason Dr. is sick. Rescheduled for march 27th. really sill having issuses with high sugars. unreal. on added insulin with was surposed to be checked in January to see where we go from there.

Fortunately, they were proactive and did not have the usual three reams of paperwork to fill out. The checked on my VA health care benefits and I ended up using another insurance as the path of least resistance but they gave me the number to call to get the VA thing squared away. This has got to be the closest to a small-town doctor's office of old that I could imagine. All family run, from the front desk to the nurse to the doc himself. They listened, they gave suggestions to help mitigate the discomfort. The only thing they couldn't do was speed up the recovery.....they can't control time. What they do do is respect your time. In and out in a jiffy but not rushed at all. They prove medical care shouldn't be an all-day affair. I left there feeling sick but knowing I was on the path to recovery. While I don't live there, I do visit, and if I need an MD I know the OneStop I am going to make and it is at One Stop Medical......Thanks. So if you are on the road or around the corner and under the weather this is the place to go.

Stephanie agreed to refund the overcharge and we would have the refund in 30days) 30days later was told it's in process and could take up to 90days for check. Mind you, they overcharged me to start this whole ball rolling. Then they hold my money for up to 3 months afterwards. WOW! Office staff in Starke was condescending and rude to say the least. Needless to say, won't be back. I'll drive to Gainesville to prevent what feels like out right theft.

When I went to her with my struggles of finding the right birth control and side effects from the usual options, she went out of her way, DURING the appointment, to do a bit more research on what might work best to help my painful periods, not cause massive mood swings or cystic acne. She went over several options with me and I eventually opted for the Nexplanon implant, which was the best birth control I've ever had. I discovered her during my later college years, and she may not realize but her genuine encouragement and belief in the simple idea that empowered women can change the world ALONG with her obvious but never arrogant master of her field, has left her in the "women I admire" category. She really helped me deal with my abnormal results and the horrible procedures that ensue (Colposcopy and LEEP) and came back to check on me after the procedure made me lightheaded and I had to stay an extra 30 minutes (or however long), even with a full schedule. I've requested support multiple times, including a case worker, social worker, and a referral to UF SmartDriver, as my father has been becoming angrier and more aggressive. His behavior has directly impacted my mother's care, as he prematurely signed her out of urgent care against medical advice, which nearly cost her life due to his cognitive decline. This lack of support and communication is unacceptable, especially given the gravity of the situation.
