My poor pup was struggling to breathe so I called every vet in Arizona. This was the only office that answered. They even held an appointment for me when they really didn't have any availability. I showed up 30 min early and I expressed my concerns (I was absolutely distraught, and they were extremely understanding and patient)...they brought her right back. She got a chest x-ray and I was told she had mild pneumonia and we got antibiotics. Dr. Erickson answered my million questions and was so quick with the visit even though he was tightly booked. Kelley was also amazing and was so calming and reassuring. The next day, Kelley called me to ask for an update on my dog. She is doing WONDERFUL now 4 days later. We spent about $450 for an exam, x-ray, and antibiotics. Still WAY cheaper than what we had to pay at the ER ($700) just for some injections and oxygen. I truly am so grateful that I finally found a veterinary office that puts the owners and pets first. I will definitely be bringing my dog back here. Thank you again.

I am not a client here. I have never been here before. Even though they are not an emergency vet, they still helped me. I pulled up in front of the doors to see if they were open (it was 745 am). Ally opened the door and asked what was wrong. I could barely speak. All I could do was open the door and get my dog, Wendy. I thrust her into Ally's arms. Wendy was catatonic. I asked, "can you help?" Ally said, "we got you". They admitted her immediately. Ally was wonderful getting all the preliminary paperwork going. She was kind, gracious and patient. Thank you Ally. I met with Dr. Riley, who was amazing. She did not sugar coat things and told me what we were looking at. My little dog's heart, liver, and kidneys were shutting down due to some sort of septic shock. We have no idea what caused it. It was very sudden. We had to have Wendy humanely euthanized. There was nothing we could do for her. There was another woman who helped, I wish I could remember her name. She was amazing as well. She brought Wendy in the room wrapped in a blanket so we could say goodbye. They let me and my husband take as much time as we needed and Wendy crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I know this review is lengthy and sad. But I want everyone to know how amazing, gracious, understanding, empathetic and honest the staff here was. They helped me and my husband through a difficult situation that was very sudden and emotional. Thank you to everyone who helped us today.

Great service! They are so helpful and dependable! me with my animal. Thanks Alex, Rosa and Momoread more

Probably has UTI but we should do bloodwork. Can see she has arthritis some medication would help that plus we should trim her nails so she can walk better cause she has arthritis. So will give you two prescriptions Amoxicillin (pill form) and Meloxidyl. Told Dr. she won't eat so cannot get pills into her. He said "well we don't want her to get a lot of liquid." That day $731.22. April 14 she will not take pill, I need liquid $43.27. Later that day results back from blood test: kidney disease 4 out of 4. April 17 she is not doing well. You're the Vet why did'nt you say in your text that the fluid injections should be done immediately. Why was she taking Meloxidyl when she was so sick. Why did she need her nails trimmed? Why were you suggesting a Rabies shot? April 17 called in morning my dog is not doing well I need to bring her in to see if fluid treatment will help. Only available appointment at 3:30. My dog started having convultions at 2:00. When I got there my husband went inside to tell them not coming in until they are ready for us. When I got in right away emergency care starting costs of $1,200 for treatment. My dog was dying at this point and I just needed to stop her suffering. Put her down costs: $381.91. And that was with a senior discount. I am 80 years old. She was a Deer Chichuaua; 14 pounds; and 16 years old. I am heart broken. I know she was old, but she suffered. I would have expected the Vet to be more helpful than he was. I don't know if the fluid injections would have saved her, but maybe they would had eased here suffering. That's all I wanted. Unfortunately, it's all about money and profit. I will never suggest VCA to anyone. But I will dicourage your service to anyone. Sally B.

He was really sick for the first time. I thought he might puke himself to death, so I ended up taking him to the cat hospital. When I got there, they snatched him and put me alone in an interrogation room... for two hours. Then they showed up with paperwork that indicated I had to sign and agree to a $1500 fee if I wanted them to fully resuscitate him. The second page of the paperwork listed all of the tests they were going to do on him once I signed. The bill for the tests at the bottom came to just under 6k. I asked if the vet had even looked at Buster. "Not until you sign the paperwork." And then, I flipped the fuck out. I had a complete Steel Magnolias moment. I started screaming. "I don't care how much it costs, give me my cat right now." They brought Buster back to me and we left. I called someone I knew who was local to Arizona and she told me to take Buster to Petsvet. I called Petsvet, and they got him in immediately. The doctor examined Buster right away, and I told her my story. I mentioned that we were from the City and Buster had only been to one doc on the UWS his whole life and he'd never been this sick before. I also told the doc that I had just flipped out in the place where I took Buster first, but admitted that I overreacted and explained that I'm from New York and never had any experience like that before. She seemed to understand. She looked at me, nodded and said, "Don't worry. I'm from New York too. I've got this." Anyhow, she fixed Buster. He's not perfect yet, but he's a thousand percent better. I am so relieved that I was lucky enough to find Petsvet. I don't like writing bad reviews, so I'm not going to trash the first place I went in AZ, but I wanted to take a moment and tell you that I give Petsvet my highest recommendation for their care of Buster, their professionalism, their obvious love of animals and the people who take them on tour.

Dexter was a rescue that had been severely mistreated as a puppy and was nursed back to health and was an outstanding companion and great, friendly boy to all for his entire life. My health issues caused me to have to opt to have Dexter's remains cremated in a community group. I left broken hearted and thought that was the end. But, NO! The place that was to cremate him has other ideas! They called to up sale me, basically told me I was an uncaring pet parent. Total BS, but yesterday they emailed me, 6 days later, to up the ante and offer me a lock of Dexter's fur, or a paw print, or have Dexter cremated solo and returned to me. I thought this was cruel, but they weren't satisfied yet. No, they promised to contact me every day for another week to offer me an opportunity to change my mind. So, here I am at 2:30 in the morning, can't sleep, upset, shaking and feeling worse than I felt on June 10th. PetsVet this is the vendor you chose to entrust Dexter's final care to and they failed on an epic scale! I thought you should know and you need to do better.
