UNHELPFUL, RUDE, INCOMPETENT APARTMENT OFFICE WORKER. Her name is Desiree.

If I could give this place ZERO stars I would. I've lived here for 15 long excruciating months (finally moving out in a few days), and let me tell y'all this place is an UTTER CLOWN SHOW! The gates never close, because they're always broken. People get their cars stolen EVERY SINGLE DAY. Mail is stolen from the mail room. There's not enough parking, so people make their own parking and then end up getting towed. Funny how they're more concerned with TOWING than SECURITY. Desiree, Amy, and Megan in the front office are as WORTHLESS as they come. They get snarky and loud when you address issues. The office workers refused to give me the management companies information after repeatedly being asked. However, due to the brains I was blessed with I was able to research and find it myself. It is run by RPM LIVING in Austin, Texas. Their phone number is: 512-480-9886. The district manager is Starvel Williams and his email is: Starvel.Williams@rpmliving.com and the regional manager is Chaneen Coates and her email is: Chaneen.Coates@rpmliving.com please call or email them when having issues otherwise you'll be at a dead end with the on-site management. Also.. On top of all this the rent fluctuates every month. They have these fees for pest control, valet trash, etc.. that they add, and they're NEVER the same! RIDICULOUS!!! Also did I mention there's a pest problem? The water in the unit smells like literal rotten egg!! It's literally soo potent it's NAUSEATING, and smells up my whole apartment! I literally wash my face and brush my teeth with bottled water. Save your money and time. Do NOT move in here! You've been WARNED!! Also FYI: the management here enters people into a drawing every month when you leave a "good review" on Google, so don't be fooled into believing those reviews. They're incentivized reviews and not accurate by any means. Notice how all the 5 star reviews are recent? Also.. The on-site manager Megan Moran and the rude disgusting Desiree Mercado also came here to pump up the reviews on here. Lol how LAME! I attached a picture. BEWARE!!!

Empty spots yet you'll still get towed !!

Ridiculous pet fees. We had two pets and paid $400 each for a total of $800 just to move in. On top…read moreof that we paid pet rent each month. Upon moving out we were charged $75 to replace carpet pads (no damage) which leads me to question what is the point of paying $800? This is in the absence of any pet damage. We rented a carport and got an apartment with a garage so the parking issue was not really an issue for us but it is terrible if you want to have visitors. The carports are so close and ours had this weird pole to the right that made entering difficult without having to pull out. There was a set of garages right in front Of our port so parking the large vehicle was difficult when the cars next to us were parked already. The appliances aren't the best. Especially the oven. It took forever to cook food. At times, the hot water would go out between 6-8. If you come home from work after a long day in these hours and want a hot shower or bath, chances are water would be semi warm at best. We moved from a 5 bedroom house with twice the square footage into a 2 bedroom apartment and, at times, our light bill was almost double what we paid in the house. Same rate and company. The gates are constantly broken. Dog poop everywhere. Comparable to the apartments in the area, it is pricey. We paid much less for a 5 bedroom house and now 6 bedroom house. I would've passed on the pet fees alone, but we really needed somewhere in my kids' current school zone. The good: They accommodated us with a last minute move. Our home building completion date was pushed back at the last minute after we sold our home which left us with little notice to find a place. They helped us to get moved in quickly and allowed us to stay an additional few weeks when it was pushed back again. We were there primarily in winter so we only used the pool a couple of times. It's nice and open year round. It is not heated. The property is well maintained. The office amenities and gym were nice. The apartment itself was in good shape. The staff was always friendly until we got our final bill to which they snidely mentioned to pay in 2 weeks or it would go to collections with a smiley face emoji. The maintenance guy who would come to our apartment was great. The community is quiet. The only noise we had issues with were the people above us. We constantly heard footsteps, moving furniture, and in the bathroom whole conversations. Overall our short stay was decent, however, with kids and our circumstances, we were desperate. It reiterated why we are homeowners and choose not to rent. I would look into somewhere with less fees and more reasonable for what you get.

I will tell you everything you need to know before moving into this apartment. All the appliances…read morelook nice but in reality they are garbage. The burners on the stove are tiny so you can't cook anything in a skillet or larger. The refrigerator gets too cold, so if you buy fresh vegetables on a regular basis you have to eat the same day your bought or it will go bad. Dishwasher is extremely loud and does not dry dishes at all. The AC unit is to large so it creates a humidity issue/ musty smell in the apartment. We have to always keep a candle lit to make the apartment smell nice. Since the AC unit is so large it creates a mold build up on the vents because the AC only runs about 3 minutes between cycles. This will drive up your electrical bill due to it shutting off and on all the time. During the winter you won't notice the humidity because the heater is running but the summer time you can definitely tell. It's so bad that our salt / sugar we keep in the cabinet clump due to absorbing moisture. On a positive note maintenance is good about coming out to fix anything you need. They staff and management are very nice. The photo is the ac vent/ mold build up from the oversized AC unit.

Where do I even start....out of my 37 yrs here on earth I have never experienced anything like…read morethis. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. I moved into this apartment on 8/19/23 and it was the biggest mistake I have made in a long time, in less then 24hrs the roaches took over, im assuming the treatments they did 1hr before I moved in did not work and specifically told me it wasn't for roaches or rats after i asked to their face. Don't even get me started on the odor the apartment has and the half cleaning that was supposedly done before my arrival from Alabama with my sick child, I am just disgusted and cannot wait to be disassociate with the facility. There is dog crap everywhere you walk on the grounds and on the stairs that look like they will fall apart any day now. I don't want to cook or eat anything in this place none the less my stuff will remain packed until i leave. Oh the best part was when my son comes to me saying mom it's a bug in my room and I have to lie and tell him it's was a beetle so that he wouldn't be scared to sleep smh. People just be careful when renting sight unseen or moving across states these companies will try anything and ask to see a vacant apartment to see actual apartment and not the model. Wish I could upload this video Smh. Oh my son also stepped on a nail that sticking up in the carpet.
