Rob was super accommodating and friendly; he also set us up on a great route. We had a very fun time and got to see a beautiful sunset over a desert ranch. Great way to get around the area! read more

So much fun! Rob was great and showed us exactly how to operate our bikes (very easy). Marfa is the perfect place to get out and ride. Highly recommend! read more

Really enjoyed the ebike around Marfa! Thanks for going the extra mile in getting us setup.

Beautiful and fun way to see and experience Marfa!! Truly unique views that you can't get from a car. Check out Pinto Canyon road. Rob was awesome. We'll do it again! Can't recommend it enough. read more

Rode one of the electric mountain bikes around Marfa Memorial Day weekend. It's the perfect way to see the town! Rob the owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as well. The bike handled all of the dirt roads and alleys easily and the hills felt non-existent! read more

Sadly we had an extremely poor experience with the business owner, Rob. I have never had to write a bad review for a business before however I feel this is necessary in order to warn others who may be potential customers. We were very excited to rent these bikes for a family outing in November. When we showed up at ebike Marfa the day of our reservation to get our bikes there was a sign on the door that said "Closed Today". We were confused because we had been able to place the bike rental order online but as it was a holiday weekend we thought it was a misunderstanding and figured it would be refunded the next day. However, the next day when we called to explain what had happened Rob was immediately rude to my husband and assumed we had just never showed up. He was distasteful to the point of humiliation and name-calling which I find highly surprising for a small business owner and certainly unprofessional. To give him the benefit of the doubt I also called Rob and had a conversation during which he finally agreed to provide a refund when it was possible noting this as a mutual misunderstanding. After 2 months of waiting for the refund when I called Rob again to inquire he said "let me check on that,,," and then hung up on me mid-conversation. I hope for the sake of a learning experience for the owner regarding respectful treatment of others let alone customers and for preventing future customers from undergoing similar deprecating treatment that this review is useful. read more

We loved Rob - we rented 2 bikes for the day and cruised everywhere. The bikes last a lot of hours because we rode all day and still had close to full charge at the end of the day. Rob gave us great restaurant suggestions too. Cool dude, great bikes. And he had carts for dogs and children :) Rufus had a blast read more

Rob was incredibly accommodating and our rental was such a pleasant experience. The bikes were an absolute blast and really made our Marfa experience extra fun. We will absolutely rent from Rob again. Thank you Rob! read more

It's safe to say that renting an E-Bike from here was the absolute highlight of my trip. Riding the bike itself was amazing, but Rob, the owner made the whole experience a memorable one. We asked Rob for recommendations on where to ride the bikes and he suggested an empty road that stretched out for about 30 miles with views of the valley in the background. After riding bikes until night time, Rob drove back to the road just to make sure we were okay and got back safely. I highly highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!!! Not to mention, the bikes were extremely easy to use and so much better than a regular bike! The service and the experience with riding the e-bike has got to be one of my favorite memories so far!!! read more

Love this place and love riding our bikes around Marfa. The owner is really cool, and helpful

we had a blast! Definitely a highlight of our trip being able to bike around Marfa.

Loved it! Beautiful scenery and Rob was a great guide. If you are in West Texas, I highly recommend taking this tour.

The very best way to travel around Marfa is on an ebike. Rob at Ebikemarfa was helpful and the rental included a lock and a helmet. I highly recommend this rental on your read more

Rob really took his time to orient my two teenagers and me about the very nice eBikes with their tech. And best of all he recommended an AMAZING scenic road with minimal traffic for our ride. Two hours was perfect amount of time for the scenic ride, for an ice cream snack at the local DQ, and the city ride around the courthouse/downtown Marfa! Thanks for a fun adventure! read more

Superior knowledge and service. We rented bikes for our teenage boys and my husband to tootle around town. Rob was friendly and offered us attachments for our bikes to take a young rider or two along as well. This was a fun memorable experience for the whole family. Love Marfa. Will be back! read more

I can't believe I've never E-biked before! So many times I've rode by those fat tire bikes thinking- "what's the difference?" OMG! A LOT! Not only was it fun but we were exercising! We managed to cover the perimeter of town and even went a few miles down Pinto Canyon Road. My mother and I laughed and giggled the whole time at how goofy we felt but we had an exhilarating fun time going 20 miles an hour down the road. In fact, I had so much fun I came back two days later to go again. Mr Crowley was so helpful at helping us and provided exceptional service. I would highly recommend this fun activity if you're visiting Marfa. It's a great Covid friendly activity and Mr. Crowley went above and beyond to sanitize each bike after use. Highly recommend experiencing this awesome E-bike adventure! read more

Highly recommend this place! Rob set us up with two awesome ebikes - SO MUCH FUN! He even helped us with replacing the tubes in our mountain bike tires that had taken a beating the day before and gave us great recommendations for trails! read more

Had a blast riding these bikes around town. Super friendly service too!

We had a wonderful tour of Marfa and it's surroundings. The E bike is the way to do it. We were greeted in a timely manner and on our way in a few minutes. Have a wonderful morning including a visit to the Chinnati foundation and most of the city. Wonderful day. read more

Biking around Marfa was pure magic--and an Ebike was definitely the way to do it! Having the motor assist came in handy when I was pressed for time between tours during the day. Night rides, too, we're that much better as I could focus less on the pedaling and more on the stars! Rob was incredibly accommodating and made pick-up and drop-off a breeze. read more

My only regret is that I didn't rent a bike sooner. This is thee best way to explore Marfa. The two hours flew right by. If you have any problems, call them right away and it will be taken care of immediately. I got a flat (those dang goat head thorns!) and the gentlemen brought me a new bike in minutes. Helpful hints: wear copious amounts of sunscreen and stop for a drink here and there. It's the high desert after all. This will be a regular thing I do anytime I'm in town. read more

Fabulous experience! My thirteen year old LOVED it! Rob, the owner, is very friendly, professional and helpful. The bikes were fun and easy to ride. I highly recommend this 'excursion' while visiting Marfa. It's a great way to see the town! We'll be back and will be repeat customers! read more

We had great fun on our bikes. Owner Rob makes everything safe, from helmets to demonstrations. He explains the throttle and other mechanical processes and will repeat if needed. Honestly, our morning ride was the highlight of the summer of 2020 when we had to ditch vacation plans - even my teenagers said the same. We had so much fun we want to come back every week! read more

I cannot recommend this experience more. Ebikes are the best way to see Marfa. Even when it's scorching hot! Rob is helpful, responsive and full of all the information you might need to see the town. We liked it so much that we went back twice. Rob even had a dog trailer so we could take our hound with us. Make sure to make a reservation because everyone else in Marfa will want to rent them too! read more

Pulled up on Ebike Marfa to a sign that said closed. A quick phone call and Rob appeared, set us up with 2 Rad Rover Electric Fat Tire Bikes (Gen 5) and even took my mountain bike in for repair. Hell of a dude, this Rob. Local + super knowledgeable and friendly. We attached the E - Bikes to my bike rack and drove 30 minutes to Ft. Davis to bike the epic 118 climb from town to the McDonald's Observatory. First time on these bikes and they are a blast. They slayed the big hills to McDonald's Observatory with ease. To wit, Strava said 26 miles + 2,700 ft/gain in less than 2 hours. My followers were in disbelief. And we only used 1 of the 5 bars of juice on the battery, to boot! The bikes are everything you would want - stable, smooth, comfortable and powerful. I think they just won 2021 E-Bike of the year. So if you are in the area with riders of different experience/abilities/fitness, I highly a recommend riding with E-Bike Marfa. You can take a local paved (very lightly trafficked) road from his shop, ride off toad with Rob in Big Bend SP or do what we did and take these for a 1/2 day excursion in any direction. Dirt or road, doesn't seem to matter. All the best with your business, Rob, you provide a hell of an opportunity for people to explore the beauty of the region in a unique and memorable style. read more
