Chuck Lien family park is basically the same area of Rapid City that Hanson- Larson Memorial Park…read moreclaims- the memorial park is a set of trails all over the few hills there and Chuck Lien is a spot of land right in the middle of those trails, as well as one large trail that is easy access right up to M Hill, one of the most well known spots in Rapid City where the giant white M sits along the hill. It's really beautiful area any time of year, and such a pleasant hike around- it's not too difficult or strenuous but it can still get you breathing a little hard and sweating which is a perfect hike to me. Referencing my review on Hanson- Larson park if you plan to visit this area would probably be pretty helpful, I'm repeating a lot of what I said there but I don't want to completely drone on. Basically, have a picture of the trails or you may get lost, and taking the Chuck Lien trail path is the biggest path and super easy to make it up to the top of M Hill, and boy is the view worth it!

Sunday Gulch Trail is a 3 mile hiking trail. This trail starts off by going downhill through…read moreboulders for about 1/4 of a mile. There are railings so that is extremely helpful. It will be important to take your time during this stretch and to use the railings. This trail, like many others in the park, is not wheelchair accessible due to the rock formations in the area. We are visiting the Black Hills in our motorhome and had originally reserved a car through a large…read morenational car rental agency. Long story, but were told that we had no car. When we got to our campground, Steel Wheel, we saw a Jeep with a "Rent Me" sign on it and the little portable office for Mad Peak Rentals. So off I went to inquire about the Jeep. Turns out that renting it was going to be cheaper than going through the other agency and we didn't have to drive 45 minutes to get it -- we simply walked down from our campsite and picked it up! We had a blast driving it up and down the roads! The other thing we wanted to do was ride the Mickelson Trail, a nationally known bike trail. Well, we thought we'd be camped right next to it but it turned out that we were several miles from it and riding to the trailhead would have been dangerous. So once again the folks at Mad Peak came to our rescue and offered to shuttle us to the trailhead and pick us up when we were done. These folks go the extra mile, both literally and figuratively, and can't be beat. They truly made our visit to the Black Hills one to remember.

They have a good concept and ideas, and like any starting business, they need to polish them. My low scored is based in two main things: Cons: They offer alcohol (wine) in some classes. I consider that approach to be very inappropriate for any fitness business!! Because how many people wants, or are encouraged to go to a gym as part of their sobering up process, and the very place that should be safe and without any alcohol involved, provides it!! Seriously!?!? Everything has a time and a place, and I personally believe that alcohol doesn't belong in any gym! Without signing a contract, still if you sign for whatever membership type, if you want to cancel before the time is over, you have to pay them 30% of the remaining balance. Where do we draw the lines that businesses don't continue penalizing those who have to end their membership early, regardless. Not like their memberships are cheap either!

I had a great experience golfing at Hart Ranch. It was my first time golfing there and it was very…read morenice. The course was well kept with a good mix of tough holes and easy. The scenery was cool with some nice mountains in the background. The Marshall keeps everyone moving so there's not to much waiting at each hole.
