I was able to get a reservation same-day on a Saturday night, and they held the table for me when I called to say that we would be late due to traffic. My husband had gyoza, chicken yakitori, a California roll and some sushi. I had one of the combos, with a miso soup, cabbage salad and scallop tepanyaki (stirfry) with rice. The cabbage salad was delicious with freshly toasted sesame seeds. My scallops were perfectly cooked, moist and sweet. The accompanying veggies were a little too soy-sauce-salty but were mostly good (mushrooms, zucchini, etc.)

One of the largest frustrations of being in most parts of France is finding an open restaurant after about 830-900 and we were successful here. The Thai offerings were great, nice sized portions easily served family style. The curries were excellent as were the wok items and there was even a decent amount of heat in several of the items, (the Pa Nang curry for example). The Pad Thai was great and the only thing that was lacking was a decent array of street noodles(which I could have missed). To make a long story short, the people here are delightful and their food is great plus they serve really cold tap water and don't try to force you to purchase some really mediocre Vittel for about 6 bucks a liter. This place is a real find and we walked out very satisfied. Yes, go to this place!!! Even though Toulouse is not really the best place in France to stay and vacation, this restaurant made the trip worthwhile!! At least that's one American's opinion..

Otherwise, there were Some interesting choices of fancied-up sushi on the menu that was pretty good. While the salmon rolls and nigiri were fine, the tuna wasn't super fresh. Nothing dangerous, but missing that bright red freshness and flavor. While the kids and I went sushi, the wife went with a Thai option - the Pad Thai. It was very, very bland. Edible, just bland. In the end, it fed us and we were satisfied; just no reason to recommend this spot. The beer selections were also ALL Asian, and that's not good beer. The wine selection was also very limited.

After I ordered it took like 45 minutes to get my tempura. Meanwhile my man ate his appetizer, and entire meal before with a guilty face before I even got my food. He had some teriyaki salmon appetizer that I tried and it was really good. That salmon was better than the one I got in the tempura. I liked the place and the waitress was friendly, the food was good. But, the timing was so awkward. I know dinners in France take longer than in the US but by the time I got my food I was beyond Hangry. I could've gone in there and made my own damn tempura 4 times, at that point.

Around 8pm on a Friday night it was quiet in the dining room and they were able to accommodate a party of 10. The staff was very welcoming and promptly took our beverage orders followed by the food orders. The menu had many different menu combos to choose from. The combos included soup (miso), salad (pickled coleslaw type of salad) and white rice along with whatever the main dish was. I chose combo "S" which included 18 maki sushi pieces along with the items mentioned before for 21,90€. I found the amount of food to be of good value. I was not able to finish all of the sushi rolls. The quality of the sushi was good. I found the rice to be a little more moist than usual but the fish inside was of good quality. I was too full for dessert so not sure if they had anything tasty. Overall great, friendly experience at a nice clean restaurant.
