I made a car rental reservation from 5 pm on 12/4/24 returning on 7:30 am on 12/11/24 through Happy Car which also seems to be known as Easy Terra. At that point I had no idea it was not an American company as the car company chosen was Budget Car Rental. The rates were great for an SUV for 7 days. Yesterday, 12/2/24 I was advised the trip had been cancelled. I went on the website to cancel only to discover there is no easy way to cancel. There is no cancel button, no email address, no chat box and no phone number. Finally, after clicking CANCEL and then looking some more, I was directed to a FORM. I completed the form - and then printed it off before sending - asking that the reservation be cancelled as I was within the 48 hour cancellation window. Today, 12/3/24 I received an email response advising that I could cancel IF I paid a 100 Euro fee. I called my credit card to report this scam as I have no intention of paying it. This company deliberately makes it difficult to cancel and because there is no way to contact anyone, I suppose they think people will just accept it and pay. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Worst customer service that I have ever experienced. Not ony were they not helpful, they kept blaming everyone but them self, they were rude and condescending and and ironic. So we lost around 300€ and they seemed almost happy about it. Stay away! read more

EasyTerra is a car rental booking agency based in the Netherlands but operating in many other countries, including the U.S. EasyTerra is affiliated with AutoEurope and makes reservations on behalf of U.S.-based companies such as Budget Car Rental. After several comparable pricing rounds, I found EasyTerra's prices to be generally lower and in some cases significantly lower than comparable national car rental companies such as Hertz, Avis, National and Enterprise. None of EasyTerra's client rental companies accept debit cards under any circumstances, so be prepared with a major credit card. Also, some EasyTerra / AutoEurope deals require prepayment in the same way that Priceline does. Their prices in other countries have been, in my experience, equally impressive and they confirm every reservation by email. Just make sure you understand the exact terms for each rental as they may be different than the usual deal with U.S.-based car rental agencies. read more
