However, everything was quite good, the meat charcuterie particularly delicious after the slight trek back from Le Mont Saint- Michel Castle. Service was incredibly efficient after the game, especially if you come for a later lunch. We arrived around 1 and stayed until lunch closing around 2:30. I ordered beef stew from the country menu which was perfectly soft and cooked with an assortment of summer squashes and peppers. The stew came with a side of freshly made fries, crisp and piping hot. I personally recommend their dessert, in particular the ice creams. Incredibly smooth and creamy served with both a small meringue and cookie in a glass.
Despite the initial hiccup and wait with service, our waiter was efficient and hilarious. He cracked jokes constantly and left us all in a better mood. It helps that everyone in the restaurant is bilingual (French and English), and they seem to have menus in multiple languages.
Pop art decor meets casual dining and decent service. Food was standard but not stellar, though the dessert is still a must.
