Try living every day for almost a year with sand in your eye. I had 3 follow-up visits with him, which were no help. He asked that I return for more follow-up visits, but I was being charged for an office call with each visit! Why should I pay for him to try to correct his mistake? If I'm going to pay for an office visit, I'll pay a doctor that can solve the problem! You'll probably see other 5-star reviews, but I guess they're the lucky ones. This is a review for my experience at Moab Eyecare and Dr. Colin Hunsaker a couple of months ago…read more I came up with a strange eye problem while I was on a vacation trip to Moab, and considered it urgent to see an eye specialist as soon as possible. I called Moab Eyecare, and they told me someone could see me if I could come down right away. I did. After filling out paperwork, within 15 minutes of my arrival, I was called into an exam room and seen by Dr. Hunsaker. He did an incredibly detailed examination, told me that nothing obvious was wrong, and confirmed that it would be OK to continue our journey, even though a flight was involved. Two months later, I had a relapse of the problem at home. I called Moab Eyecare and spoke to Jenny to see if I could get Dr. Hunsaker's exam record in advance of an appointment with my ophthalmologist here. There was no long wait on the phone (as there often is at my own eye doctor!), and Jenny was extremely pleasant and helpful. Within 5 minutes, I had the exam record in my email inbox. What more could you ask for from an optometrist - an office staff that understands urgency and gets you in as quickly as they can, an extremely thorough exam by a competent professional, using some of the most advanced optometric equipment I've ever seen, and a super-helpful, professional staff that would help out an out-of-towner after the fact in a friendly, kind, and timely fashion. My Doctor was Dr. Passi he was amazing, I told him after I had my second eye done that I got a little teary eyed on my drive into my post op appointment, I said "Did you know leaves are not just green and have many different shapes and rocks have lines that make unique patters, that yellow really is a pretty color and the sky was so blue and the clouds were so white. Colors are so vibrant it's just been amazing the difference. And a special shout out to Becca who scheduled my surgery was the sweetest funniest, caring human ever, she goes out of her way and gave 110%.
