We were told the lamb was marinated in lime juice and onion puree so hopes were high. We weren't disappointed! Plenty of tender meat and none of the usual gristle. Salad came in a separate tub, as did the garlic sauce, and apart from the chips, which are always a bit shite, it was just one of the best shish I've ever had. Recently modernised and I presume taken over as there is new people working here…read more Out of the so many pizza / kebab places in Darlington I recon this is one of the best (This obviously excludes some good restraints that also do pizzas) Unlike many of the run down places in town this is all shining new and the guys who run this are very friendly and seem to appreciate your custom. Customer service is good and they don't mind explaining about the dishes or even doing something different on request. I'm not a big fan of pizzas as I think they are too stodgy unless when abroad when they are completely different being mega thin and more fresh tasting but I was surprised when I tried my better half's pizza from Kebab grill as it was not doughy underneath but was slightly crispy much better than anything else I have had from a normal pizza shop in Darlington. I watched the guys make a Calzone (folded pizza) and it really lloked good so I will be trying one next time.
