I prefer a teaching church environment. Church is absolutely gorgeous. Membership seems to be low. They have the room to grow.

I am 64 years old. This is a new style of worship for me. I attend the satellite church in Foley…read more This church seems to adhere to the Full Gospel of Jesus Christ. Every week they quote many Bible verses and teach them in detail. Yes the entertainment is wonderful. The singers at each location are some of the best I've heard and I have attended mega churches for most of my life. But let me say this again, you do not attend church for the entertainment value. You attend church to learn about God's plan for you. You join a body of believers to support the believers. You join a group of believers to serve other s and share the plan of salvation. You do not attend church because of a charismatic preacher. You attend church to hear the gospel preached and teached, adhering to the infallible word of God, the Bible, building you up to lead a loving and productive life, glorifying your Creator.

As a former Sunday goer here, City Hope is a great Church to get fed with the Word as pastor Trey…read moredoes a pretty decent job at delivering real scripture. Sometimes he personalizes it a little too much for my liking but all in all it's theologically sound and points it all back to Jesus which keeps the main thing the main thing. Also this is a great place for community if you can find others to connect with in your space. However this church has a few issues. The biggest being if you are a single guy post college (25-30 and up) I would not recommend. Mega churches to some degree all suffer from this odd lack of understanding of the single male demographic and having very little to no resources/spaces for them. Again, while it's a great place to attend Sundays, if you are a guy single with no family or friends who already attend the church, I would suggest finding a smaller community church in the area. Second, I won't name names, but I'm weary of some of the staff here. It's a big church and people aren't perfect, fair enough, but after getting burnt a couple of times I 100% will not go back. My personal situation with a couple that works there was unique so I won't get into it. All I'll say is be careful who you get close to, loving like Christ and being open to conversation does not mean you need to blindly trust someone just cause they have a name tag and a smile. This post is not to hate on City Hope whatsoever, I think they do a great job in a lot of different aspects and serving the community and one or two people you don't get along with is not an overall indicator of leadership. And let me be very clear, I'm not perfect and have my shortcomings believe me, but I wanted to be real about my experience there. Hopefully they'll actually take these comments as constructive feedback for the future.

This church is amazing! Folks, I have to tell you, if you are looking for a place where you belong…read moreas well as where folks will be excited you are there, this church will knock your socks off. If you are looking for a church that is heavy on the Presence of GOD with a pastoral leadership that is focused on the Kingdom of GOD and whether or not GOD is worshiped. This is the place. And let me tell you, the leadership is deep, the pastoral team is solid, the heritage comes from the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola Florida where Pastor John Kilpatrick was head pastor when the Brownsville Revival took off in 1995 and they saw more than one hundred thousand people come to Jesus Christ in a very short period of time. Since then, they hosted the Bay Area Revival. This means they have the depth necessary to host another great move. I believe it's coming soon. They have ministries for all ages and if you want to check them out before going, you can watch them online through their live stream as well as God.tv on your local cable channel. Whatever you do, be sure to go deep and dig into for all you can. Chase after Jesus with all your heart with these folks. You won't regret it. Church of His Presence is one of my favorite churches in the world and I will keep going back! Boom!

My review isn't regarding the Church itself. I'm leaving this review of their "3 Circle Benevolence…read moreOrganization." First, I need to preface this by saying that I was on the verge of a catastrophic heart attack in the earlier part of 2025. The doctors refer to a heart attack caused by a blockage in this particular coronary artery a "Widowmaker" myocardial infarction because the artery supplies 55%, or more, of the left side of the heart with blood. So I was as near death as a person could be without actually dying. Having said that, I contacted 3Circle Church regarding some financial assistance with my rent this month. Common sense would dictate that enduring all of what I described would cause ripples of financial issues in the following months, which is exactly the situation. When I called the church, they emailed me the application for assistance which I filled out and submitted. I received a call yesterday, 17 Nov 2025, from a gentleman named Gerald Roberts. I inadvertently missed his called and called him back as soon as I realized he had called. When I returned his call, he asked me if he could call me back in about 30 minutes. I said, "Sure. No problem." Mr. Roberts never returned my call after he said he would. I did not try to call him again on that day. So, today, 18 Nov 2025, I did call him and after a couple of rings the call was answered and immediately hung up in my face. They claim to be a "Benevolent Organization." However, I don't see any Benevolence in their behavior. I have a genuine need for assistance and they treat me like this? I saw a review on this church before I decided to leave a review. Evidently, This is a pattern of behavior. Never will I go there to Worship Christ Jesus after all this. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! God Bless!

This church and the leadership and small groups have drawn me closer to the Lord. So glad I found…read morethis community of Believers
