So, today was my first visit to see Christopher for a session to hopefully open my energy up in order to be in a state of welcome for a new addition to the family. He came highly recommended by a friend a colleague of my husband's. She had optimal results after seeing Christopher as did her twin sister and many other people to which she referred him. I'm very open to this type of medicine. I am very in tune with energy, that of the people in our circumference as well as living, breathing creatures and even inanimate object in our paths and surroundings. I was very nervous when I first got to office; I didn't know what to expect and it had been a very long time since I last received acupuncture. Christopher answered the door to the new location. I believe the office was in a different location so they're are in the process of moving to this new location which is right near the metro so there is definitely easy access and parking. He introduced himself and Solomon (you'll have to visit to meet THAT guy...lol) and we sat for a bit to discuss the intentions of my visit. Afterwards, I got on the table and tried very hard to relax. He monitored my pulse and read me like the evening news. I was blown away and literally brought to tears. Something comes over you in his presence and he has a way of getting to the core of your issues (I'm literally tearing up writing this right now). I was still having difficulty relaxing but he started with a few needles and it felt like I was sinking, into the depths of tranquility and pools of a heightened consciousness. Before I knew it, I was so calm and at peace. I could tell that my speech was getting more and more relaxed and then he left me in the room to just lie and reflect and relax, more still. After my session, he gave me some nutritional advice and offered assistance if I found myself not reaching a calmer and more passionate level to my end goal in the next few weeks. I am kind of stoked to visit again. I definitely want to be more prepared; wear more comfortable clothing and no makeup (I came by after a half day of work so, makeup was a must for the morning). I felt so at ease after our session. Today was such a wonderful experience and I'm thankful for Christopher's words of encouragement and suggestions that will hopefully help me in the future. If you decide to try him out, treat this as any other spa experience; drink plenty of water and be relaxed and open. It's definitely worth a try if you cam have a better outcome on the other side of a visit. Chris is a calming presence and his ability to read ones pulse and get to the heart of this issue, in my case lower back/bulging discs, is fascinating. I could sit with him for hours. My appointment with Chris was my first experience with acupuncture, but Chris came highly recommended by a friend I trust, so it made my "leap" easy and I was not disappointed. I would much rather use acupuncture than take a pill or turn myself over for surgery - preferable to exhaust all options before going those routes. After reading my pulse and applying the needles he left me for a while to "stew." 5 stars really IS as good as it gets in the case! Chris is simply AMAZING, and I am back for more of his amazing stuff! Much of what he does is helping assess and balance the body (including stresses of all sort) and does not require multiple visits, how you and your body respond will determine when you require additional assistance and support. My family has been benefiting form Chris' talents since he started his practice in Katonah, for diverse reasons including physical joint issues -some connected to internal organ issues, gut/small intestine damage from undiagnosed celiac; low back degenerative. vertebrae issues.
