I initially received some quotes on replacing my old asphalt driveway with another asphalt…read moredriveway. After having Angelo stop by to give a quote I decided to spend the extra money and get concrete. Am absolutely certain that I made the right decision. First, his patience in answering my questions, describing how best to execute the job and suggestion on how to make it long lasting while also keeping costs under control gave me the confidence that this was the right person/company to do the job. As I live outside the area and this is for a rental property, I would not have the flexibility to provide oversight of the job. But, Angelo constantly provided email updates of the progress which included numerous pictures and information on the progress of that day or days. Even when the high volume of rain this past summer delayed his progress a day or two, he still kept me updated on the status and expected new completion date. What really convinced me that he is absolutely the best at what he does is that since the driveway has been completed I have had contractors stop by to give quotes or perform other work at this property and each one has commented on the quality of the work with two stating that they feel L & A did better work than they could perform! Bottom line is that L & A will only do a great job without compromising on quality to get your work. I will have to live with this work for 20 to 30 years and am confident that it will be there beyond that.

I can't say anything about their work, because they didn't do the work. But I can definitely say…read morethey are very undependable. They came and gave me an estimate, and then they came to pick up my check for the deposit on Saturday. The owner said they would come to do the work on Tuesday or Wednesday. They never showed up, and I tried to contact the owner four times - once on his cell & three times through his office & he never returned my calls. So I put a stop on the check for the deposit. The following Monday he called me and wanted to know why he wasn't able to cash the check, and I said because he took my check, never gave me a receipt, and wouldn't return my calls. He claimed that he never got my messages and blamed it on the girl in the office. Even though I also left voicemail on his personal cell phone. I have no time to deal with people who don't know how to run a business properly. It only takes a minute to make a phone call to reach out to somebody and let them know the status of the job. If he called and explained that they were delayed and wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day, I would have understood. But to take a check from somebody for $1750 , not give them a receipt, and not return phone calls is very unprofessional.

Polished concrete in our home in NYC…read more When SPR Waterproofing left our place after 3 days of work, we were really happy with the work done. We gave them the full payment (more expensive than expected) even though a product had been applied to fill some cracks, and needed to be cleaned after a few days. Then things turned really bad. First they never send the cleaner they were supposed to send. They never send the finale invoice neither. After chasing them for months, they finally came, tried something, but because the huge marks on the floor were impossible to remove, they simply disappeared and even blocked our phone number! At the end, we paid a significant amount of money for a very poor result as we have major stains everywhere, plus it was so annoying to have to chase them for weeks and weeks and weeks...
