They stock all of your typical convenience store goods; milk, eggs, bread, cereal and so on. It comes in handy when I'm on my way into the Jewellery Quarter and need to pick up something on the go. The cafe isn't one that I would choose to go to - Rosella's a bit of a weird amalgamation of services that leaves it all a bit substandard. Anyway it fulfils it's purpose of being a convenience store, as does the cafe - so perhaps the cafe is best described as more of a convenience cafe. It's not the most extraordinary of establishment that you'll ever visit (in case you were expecting that) - but it's prototypical, reliable convenience store to get a mars bar and a pint of milk when passing by or in your slippers.

In…read morefact, many times I've walked past this shop in the middle of George Street, underneath a big block of flats and it appears closed. It doesn't open till 9am, however, it is very handy to have something close by if I run out. We've been in their for supplies to ease of a cold as well as basics such as eggs and bread when we've been caught short. Service is always good. They also have dry cleaning from here now and it's a point to collect post if you're out during the day. There is a cafe in there and I'm not sure if the attached pizza take away is ever open but I may find out one day!

The store seems much more modern than I'm used to from Morrisons. The store is visually pleasant. As you enter the store, you'll be greeted by their Market Kitchen area where food counters are available offering a rotational daily selection of hot dishes, pizza and a couple of other options alongside the regular Morrisons Cafe offering. The facilities inside the store are good and also include Amazon Lockers. The selection in terms of groceries was reasonable. Prices were competitive but did seem fairly expensive for some items including Cravendale Milk, even out pricing some convenience stores in Birmingham city centre. The staff seemed friendly enough; there was a lack of them on the shop floor however to assist customers. 4* - An impressive Morrisons with an overall store look/feel that I hope they roll out across more of their supermarkets nationwide.

It's a quaint family eatery with simplistic and clean decor, and polite yet reserved staff. There is some parking outside although side-street parking is plentiful. It's also a take-away, so as you enter there is an Indian sweets counter. If you dine in, you have a vast range of dishes to choose from at very reasonable prices. I often order a variety of snacks to eat a tapas-style meal, which gives you the opportunity to try out numerous dishes with a rich blend of flavours. But favourites are the chilli paneer and spicy mogo chips! Don't be put off if you're a keen meat-eater - so am I! But Jyoti's is testament to how varied and delicious vegetarian food can be.

We ordered Mixed Bhajiya which was 6 assorted fritters with tamarind sauce, paneer spring rolls and mogo chips. The food tasted nice some of the fritters tasted very similar to each other and were quite dry, the mogo chips were quite hard but tasted ok. The tables were clean, waiter service was ok, bathrooms could be better, food was nice......it was ok in general but nothing amazing!

The people that run it seem so lovely and they building the food school is in is one of the most impressive on Harbourne high street. Following a recommendation from Rebecca S I decided to go along to see what the place as all about. I was welcomed into the building, shown around and also given some pizza that had been made by the class the night before. For anybody wanting to learn to cook I would recommend having a look at the food schools website asap. I would also say to to any businesses wanting to take staff on team building or socials this could be the perfect spot :) The kitchens are well equipped and the teachers are so passionate about the food they create I think they could get even the most untrained chefs/cooks interested in getting back into the kitchen.
