Not a great experience for my 81 yr old father. I set him up hoping he could get some relief from…read morebeing in the pool. The first time his home health care worker took him they said he couldn't get in unless he could go down the stairs so he had to come home which discouraged him. I spoke to the director who assured me again that they had brand new lift to use and the employee didn't know what they are talking about. So I finally got my dad to agree to go a week or 2 later. They showed me what I'd need to do to use the lift which is fine. My dad just was not comfortable at all in the water. I had already paid $104 for the sign up and monthly fee. I called them to cancel on 8/31 and received no answer. I called again on 9/1 which they were closed. Finally talked to them on 9/2 telling them to cancel and that I had been calling. They told me to cancel online and I did immediately. I called again to ensure I DID NOT get charged yet again. The gentleman told me he saw the cancellation request and would follow up on it and ensure it was done. Just saw my CC statement and I was charged on 9/8/25 for some strange reason which prompted me to look at my dads account and his acct is Still active. So to recap, $154 so far for one successful visit and they will try to charge again on 10/1/25 since he is still active. I DEFINITELY would not recommend this place.

Love this YMCA! Everyone is so friendly from the people checking you in, to the group class…read moreinstructors, to the lifeguards. I was able to take the spin class, the YFit class, and the spin/Trx class and had a great time in all of them. The childcare is pretty great with slides for the older kids. My children looked forward to going every morning. We also got to check out the indoor pool area which was so much fun for my kids. Note that you do need to get a swim test for the kids if they want to go on the larger slides. Fun times had by all, we love the Y!

We moved here in December and my son attends Aldersgate and will through the summer…read more I contacted several friends in Montgomery and all of them said this was the place for our pre-schooler if we wen't planning on paying for private school. I would pass that same information on to any of my friends coming to the area. The WCM is a small daycare , but is big on teaching the children as well as ensuring the education is Christian based. I was quite impressed to know the children attend chapel everyday. My only gripe was my son's first instructor who was obviously not in to teaching children. She was nice, but felt more like a babysitter. When Ms. Kathy came to be his permanent teacher, his excitement about going to school and learning things increased. She added to our interest in teaching him how to write his name and learning things that would help him in Kindergarten. To me, it felt as if the first instructor had no instruction plan. I'd also like to say the Interim Director is doing a wonderful job! They've recently brought in help for her. Someone who will oversee lesson plans etc while she handles the business, but while she was on her own, I felt she did a great job. Eventhough I "get a raise" once my son gets into Kindergarten, it will be a sad day when our son is no longer at Aldersgate.

WCM used to be a good school for children but it has went downhill drastically. We had a lot of…read moreissues with them after the previous director resigned. It is a known fact that they hire very sketchy "teachers" to work with the kids. some of them are good, some of them are horrible. one teacher they hired drew pornographic/demonic drawings and posted them on social media for the world to see (I have the pictures saved). WCM did not take action immediately even with parents in an uproar. there was an issue with some children, including mine, with DHR investigations for alleged abuse and to this day I still don't know what happened to my child. I will say that my sweet child is out of harms way into a loving and kind preschool now, and you would be wise to really do some digging and praying before you send your innocent, sweet child into this place. Do some research because there are plenty of families who have spoken up.

Since the beginning of 2022, my almost 4 yr old has thrived in the care of these teachers. *A messaging app is used by teachers and parents allowing me to receive immediate notifications on boo boo reports, sickness in a classroom, the lunch menu, school closures, pics of our sweet kids doing special activities & much more. * The abeka curriculum used has prepared my toddler for kindergarten. His schedule is structured, his materials are age appropriate & he's now old enough to attend chapel, providing a child friendly worship experience. *The facility is clean w/ toys regularly disinfected, safe playground equipment & guidelines put in place so health and safety are a top priority. Should any incidents occur, video footage can be reviewed so parents can be properly informed of exactly what happened. *The level of care and love these teachers give goes above & beyond any expectations a parent might have. Ms. Jordan, the director, has always encouraged open feedback & believes this is the way to determine how to best support both our children and our family in every way possible. She has taken the time to speak to me during & after school hours so having a director with that level of care is imperative. My infant started this year & handing her smiling face over each morning to those sweet teachers makes my life a little easier.
