Do NOT hire Hall Environmental aka Andrew Hall for any services! The chances are high that he will…read moreovercharge, not do the work, and then run off with your money! He used to be legitimate. I'd used him a year ago to lay sod and had a good experience. I then hired him for ongoing lawn care but cut ties when he stopped showing up but still tried to collect payment the next month. Just recently, he called me out of the blue asking how our sod was doing/if we needed service and I decided to give him another shot. I paid for him to cut, fertilize the grass, and spray weeds. I originally needed him to also lay 2 bags of mulch in the flower bed (our lawn is tiny and so is the flower bed) but he tried to charge me $140 for 10 bags of mulch when we only needed 2. I naturally said nevermind because that was ridiculous. It cost me $15 and 10 mins to do it myself last time. Removing that service brought the price down from $345 to $205. $205 was also high but I needed the service ASAP (that day) so I just agreed. He asked for half up front and agreed to come that day, Friday, 10/16 at 2pm. I knew him from before so I paid the full $205 upfront. BIG MISTAKE. He began to spin me. He blamed traffic, then claimed it was raining (it was not at my residence) and then blamed the sun going down. He promised to come the following day "first thing in the morning" and didn't show up the entire day. He stopped answering my messages also and denied MULTIPLE refund requests which began on Friday once it became clear he wasn't coming. He ultimately ran off with my money and did not provide the service. I eventually had to pay someone else to complete the work. I demanded a refund, he claimed he bought "supplies" for the job he never did and refused to refund me any money. Even after telling him that I had to get someone else to do the work, he still refused repeated requests for a refund claiming he "already spent the money" and is unable to refund any of it. He blamed him running off with the money on being "super busy" but he called me trying to drum up business and if he's THAT busy, how does he not have my $205 to refund? He tried saying we can have a credit with him instead as if I want him anywhere near my home after he stole our money and proved he's a liar. I am suspicious that he may have developed a drug problem or that something else is going on because I don't know how someone could have fallen so far from grace. The 1st red flag was that he no longer accepted Zelle and only CashApp etc. I fully believe it's because he was booted from that payment service for defrauding others. Andrew Hall was once a good option but is now a scammer. Avoid at all costs and if you decide to ignore this warning, DO NOT pay him up front. You will regret it! Feel free to reach out if you also have been robbed by him as I've filed a police report today and would love any other victims to come forward and add to the investigation. Depending on the outcome of the difficult dispute process with CashApp, small claims court may also follow. I wish I'd seen the updated reviews before hiring him again. The claims of theft are sadly true.

He left shrub stumps in the ground and just put rocks over them all while they were visibly sticking out. He never put weed liner in the beds, just dropped rock. Zero response when I tried to contact him about it. I would never use this company for anything!!! His word means nothing. It's a disgusting way to do business and he totally took advantage of me. I hired Evolve in the Spring of 2021 for my lawn maintenance. Sometime between October 1st and…read moreNovember 11th, an employee mowing hit a drainage pipe on my back lot causing damage. As result of the damage, I now have a constant flow of water coming from the broken pipe. It was determined by Polk County officials it was a drainage pipe and not a sewer pipe as Evolve claimed. Evolve initially denied all responsibility for the damage alleging the real damage was caused by tree roots breaking the pipe. I hired an independent plumber to assess the damage. He determined the broken pipe had been hit by a lawn mower by examining the pieces of pipe which had been left on the ground. Polk County officials also came to the same conclusion. Evolve said the only way they would repair the damage was if I agreed to pay for the repairs. Repairs began December 13th and ended December 14th with Evolve installing a 3 FOOT ABOVE GROUND TEAL COLORED 6 INCH PIPE WITH A WHITE CAP. I advised the above ground pipe was a complete eyesore in my nicely wooded backyard as the original pipe was buried underground. I was furious with the results, and advised if they wanted payment they would have to fix it to my satisfaction. I was told the only way it would be repaired underground was to bring in heavy equipment to dig which they said couldn't be done. After several heated telephone conversations with the impertinent office manager Jillian Bustos, I received an email on December 15th from Jillian advising Evolve was voiding their invoice of $345, and "as result will discontinue doing business with you effective immediately". Adding insult to injury, she suggested I cover the pipe with a trellis, plant material, shell cover or spray paint the pipe to blend in with its surroundings. The saga continues as today I received a telephone call from an attorney Evolve retained to collect what I allegedly still owed them for the repair work they botched. As soon as I informed their attorney I had an email from Evolve stating they had voided their invoice, he advised he would be closing his file on this matter. Then he rudely hung up on me without saying thank you or goodbye. Evolve and their attorney have a lot to learn about being polite and good manners. Nice try Evolve, but you will never see another shiny penny from me ever. You are extremely unprofessional walking away from the mess you made, refusing to make it right and then trying to intimidate me with your attorney. You need to hire a new office manager as the one you have is going to kill your business with her mouth and attitude.

Once he knew when the rock would be delivered, he arranged for his team to complete the work the same day. They did the project in one day, while I and my significant other were at work. The job had to start with Ryan's team clearing out the layers of mulch and rock in all three flower beds. Then they laid down the weed barrier, planted the new plants and finally added the new rock. Ryan also did a fantastic job treating the stone bordering all of the beds. Our neighbors keep telling me they can't believe the transformation and also continue to comment on how beautiful everything looks. Thanks again to Ryan and his team.
