We signed up for Earthlink DSL along with a Dish Network satellite package. The equipment arrived but DSL would never work, never got connected. We spent hours with their (very non-American) technical support guys and they said the problem was our phone service. We cancelled the first week and returned the equipment only to be billed every month for service. When we called to complain the (non-American) billing representative said they had no record of our call to cancel. I asked if they had a record of the equipment being returned and they did. Hello....if we don't have your equipment, isn't that an indicator that we aren't using your service??? Then they wanted to hit us with a $90 early termination fee (another thing we were never informed of when we signed up with them) and they would NOT refund us the two previous months of billing. Total ripoff, lousy company, lousy support, and lousy, lousy customer service. Run like the wind if you get an offer from them and go the OTHER way. read more
