The process started with the purchase of a gift certificate for a photo session that Avalon Photography had graciously donated to a local fundraiser. Unfortunately, the gift certificate was mentioned on my first voice message to Avalon more than a month ago. After no response, follow up calls were placed on September 5th and 14th to again inquire about scheduling a photo session. I even gave possible excuses saying, basically, "You may be very busy and not able to schedule right away, but please call me back to at least acknowledge the request. " A return call was never received. At this point, I am no longer interested in pursuing a photo session. I have deemed my payment for the gift certificate as a donation to the organization that held the fundraiser, and consider it in very poor taste for Avalon Photography to make a "donation" that isn't going to be honored.
