Nice at first but now have trashy neighbors that let their kids run amuck around buildings, leaving trash, screaming and hanging out windows. Like a third world country or a ghetto. They fixed up the outside but inside serious lacking updating. Original cabinets should have been replaced twenty years ago as they are probably 50 years old. Constant leaks. They don't fix things properly, only fix it to look half way decent. Maintenance used to be better but were replaced with people that don't care what they do. Outside maintenance people probably illegal. Nothing in the lease is enforced. There is no play area for children except for Kings Apts and is hardly used. No pool except for Kings. They have other property they could make a play area but doubt people in my building or the building that shares the parking lot would take the time to take their kids to it. Most of the neighbors just have no respect for others and allow their kids to run everywhere. Running in and out of parking lot, hitting and kicking balls into cars, putting their hands on your car. Lease specifically says no playing around buildings but with complaints, nothing is done. They only care about collecting rent. So your neighbors can be the biggest ass holes and as long as they pay rent, management doesn't care. Office people, constantly cut you off when you are trying to tell them about a problem you have in the apartment. They don't care either. Rents are cheaper than other apartments but you get what you pay for. Kings apts are more expensive and smaller but are kept up better, parking by permit all others towed. A completely new/renovated apt at Kings is $1050. There is also no enforcement of the amount of people living in ER as other complexs follow local code enforcement. Hensyn Village is owned by the same owner as ER. They are lower priced but wouldn't live there as an attorney told us that there were gangs as Cryps and Bloods living there or possibly lived in the past, don't know. Police are less than a minute away and do patrol through complex. The area and complex are safe and no problems in our building with break ins. ER is now asking $930 or $950 for a 1 bedroom. Buildings off of old Wolf Road may have gas stoves but the upper apartments are strictly electric. Heat and water is included but walls are thin. You can hear the upstairs neighbor peeing in their toilet. read more
