But those drugs seemed to be not helping my pain at all. And I could not sleep at night because of the pain. Later, my family doctor had referred me to consult this physiotherapy clinic. I was amazed by the services offered by the physiotherapists at Poh. I had had two different professionals (Monica & Arthur) at the same period (twice a week with two specialists in different day). They individually designed the treatment for me and each time they would explain to me in details and also teach me different exercises in order for me to practice it at home. After all those treatments and practices, now my back is almost recovered. Recently, I am having treatment for my carpal tunnel syndrome of my both hands. I have experienced the pain and numbness for almost four years. The pain also affects my sleep. I was planning to have the operation for my hands, but finally I decided not to as I was told by the doctor and other professionals that the pain might come back if I worked as usual ---- that means I have to minimize the house work and cooking. How can I?? Since I have had the treatment for my hands (about 5 times), instead of the pain, now I only feel tingling or mild numbness sometimes. Poor communication process and unfair credit card charge…read more I've been a regular patient at this clinic since 2020 and have received care from several practitioners there. Unfortunately, my recent experience with appointment communication and billing was disappointing. A staff member phoned to cancel one of my appointments. The call was rushed, the details weren't repeated back, and nothing was confirmed in writing. I understood one appointment was cancelled, but it turned out to be a different one. When I didn't attend the appointment I believed was cancelled, no voicemail or message was left to check on me. I only learned of the no-show when I arrived for the date I thought I'd been rebooked for. I pointed out that, with no written confirmation, it couldn't be determined where the miscommunication came from. I was blamed for the whole miscommunications and charged anyway. Clear communication is a basic part of patient care. Cancellations and reschedules should be confirmed in writing, and a fee shouldn't be applied when the clinic can't show what was communicated. I hope the clinic will review and adjust it's process. It's a shame that after all these years no interest or care was given to me as a loyal customer, and I was easily discarded because they now had developed a large client base.

I had appointments with Adina and with Leah (who I think is currently on mat leave). They are both so amazing. They are very true to their treatments with their clients. Very knowledgeable and very through in the information they try to gain from you so they know how to help you with your concerns. From my experience, they're not the type of clinic that will give you a run for your money... they will be honest and try to do their best with what they feel on how many appointments you may need or the length of the appointments.
