E.T. jerky stood out for me because of the cashier as well as the flavors. I rarely write reviews, but this visit is special. We were on our way to Kershaw Ryan state park and decided to stop by here since it is conveniently located along the way (you can't miss it) I wish I had asked the cashier for her name, she is blonde and wore glasses and her attitude is welcoming and also very funny and easy to talk to. Aside from her great personality, she made great suggestions for first time visitors. We ended up with 3 different beef jerky flavors which were "boar", "garlic jalapeño" and "whiskey". The flavor and texture of the "whiskey" took me by surprise in a good way. If you're a first time visitor, I highly recommend that one. It's not spicy but full of flavor! I like spicy, but I don't appreciate when it hurts my tongue, the cashier understood me well and she pointed out "garlic jalapeño". It did not disappoint! It's five stars for me for service as well their wide selection of beef jerky. Unfortunately I did not take pics this time, but since I moved to Las Vegas, I have no doubt I will be back and hopefully I will update my review with pictures. read more

Stopped here on our drive from Vegas up to Great Basin NP. Super fun place, with an alien mural outside, an alien landing place, and lots of cool gifts inside. We purchased three bags of jerky - kept two and gave one as a gift. Our friends loved theirs, we chose a spicy variety for them, and we enjoyed the garlic and teriyaki flavors. Definitely worth a stop while exploring Area 51! read more

If you're driving through Nevada and see ET Fresh Jerky, do yourself a favor and pull over! This place is awesome. They have tons of jerky (so many flavors!), plus all sorts of alien souvenirs--stickers, stuffed animals, you name it. We ended up grabbing three bags of jerky, two stuffed animals, and some stickers, and the total was just over $100. One of the coolest things? They have chalk markers so you can leave a note on their doors, which is such a fun touch. And they even have a talking Trump alien machine, which was hilarious. The best part? If you're driving to Area 51 from Las Vegas, you have to stop at ET Fresh Jerky just like you have to stop at Alien Fresh in Baker on the way to Californian civilization. ET is an exact clone of Alien Fresh. They have the same business idea, sell the same exact alien themed merchandise (and I went to a few alien tourist traps, they all had different things to sell so this seems intentional) and the Alien Trump Zoltar machine lurking in the corner. Who's making that thing? ET claims they are not related to Alien Fresh at all. Alien Fresh originally started at this very location. The mural you see painted in the parking lot next to the portable was the original building. AF packed up their saucer and landed in Baker over 20 years ago. ET has been open for a few years. There has to be some infringement going on here, lol. The air conditioning was BLASTING inside of this building. Soak it all in because the next stops (Alien Research Center & A'Le'Inn) do not have air conditioning inside at all. read more

ET fresh jerky was a cool little stop while driving on Highway 93 out of Alamo. There is a huge selection of flavors to choose from and the staff there was very friendly. OMG this place is amazing! Hidden gem on the way out to Area 51 on Hwy 93 and 318 crossing. We stopped in on our way to film some YouTube footage for my friend's channel and the ladies were so nice! They gave us tips on where to go and what to see in Rachel and the surrounding area. We chatted with them for a while. Besides having beef jerky, they also have other alien gifts, hot sauces, an alien Trump fortune telling machine that I could not stop laughing at, and many other fun stuff. Beautiful wall art outside of the building as well. It is a MUST stop if you are on your way to or from Area 51 or Rachel, NV. I also must say that this is no joke some of the best jerky I have ever had and I am a connoisseur! I got the hot sweet garlic. The spiciness does creep up on you but totally worth it! Not too spicy though if you are a spicy fan. I do want to make a trip back to Area 51 at night and I will for sure be buying more jerky next time! read more

Decided to take an alien tour and headed out toward Area 51 before all the hoopla hits on Sept 20. First stop, E.T. Fresh Jerky! It's a quiet little place at the junction to the ET highway and we pulled in on our first stop. It's small, has lots of beef jerky and some Knick knacks for sale. they also have a wall of different alien paintings that you can pose with, it's pretty cool. The guy working was very welcoming and very friendly. We chatted for a while and he was very knowledgeable about the different flavors of jerky. They run a special 3/$20 so I selected 3, the Carolina Reaper, the teriyaki, and the cowboy (which he said was their best seller). He warned us about the Carolina Reaper and he was right, it's blazing hot. I choked on it the first time cause I inhaled as I was eating it and wow! The teriyaki was very flavorful and yummy. The cowboy was good too, like a good BBQ rub. I really liked the Reaper, just had to eat 1 piece a day, but it was really flavorful not just super hot. They also advertise the cleanest bathrooms and I'll be darned if they weren't really clean! Very useful on the long haul from Vegas to Rachel. We stopped on the way back too, grabbed some drinks and used the bathroom again. Well worth the trip read more

On our way home from Ely we stopped into ET fresh jerky to check out what was happening inside. We have always driven by and taking pictures out front but we have never made our way inside. Upon entering you'll see everything alien! There were lots of snacks and drinks and of course jerky. The owner was there and he was super friendly. He even gave my boys a little aliens in spaceships to take home as a souvenir. Another plus to this little gem is they have the cleanest bathrooms on the road!!! I ordered this jerky based on the reviews and had it mailed to me. I was very disappointed. The original and the old fashioned are sticky and have that processed texture like the jerky you would get at a gas station. The Cowboy jerky was excellent. It had that "real" not processed jerky that was not sticky. The cuts of meat were great but the finish on the sticky side makes me feel like I am eating cheap, preservative filled and processed jerky. read more

This is seriously the BEST jerky I have ever tasted! I have to stop every time I am passing through usually heading to Caliente or Pioche. This place is Located right in the middle of Junction 318 & 93. Inside you will find free samples, souvenirs, and a clean bathroom. They have a selection of nuts. If you are a nut lover then stop in this section. The garlic pistachios are so good! If you like dried fruit they have a variety of that too. We should get down to the amazing stuff. The jerky! They have all kinds of flavors and types of jerky. Inside you will find a sample table of nuts and jerky. My personal favorite is the "Brisket Sweet & Hot". It is so tender and packed full of flavor. My man likes the "Hell Hole Hot". I tried it and it was way too spicy for me, but right up his alley. The jerky is either $7.99 for 1 bag or 3 bags for $20. I always get 3 bags. On facebook they have pictures as well options to buy certain items from a website. The woman inside said that they are open as long as the neon open sign is lit in the window. The sign is well visible from the road. If you get the nice older man he can tell you everything you ever wanted to know about Area 51! read more

Just found this place in the middle of the desert after driving the Extraterrestrial Highway. Immediately noticed the Iowa State Cyclones flag hanging on a tree outside of it so I had to walk in.
