I was in town just for the day but decided to stop in to see if they could take a walk-in. Ben obliged. Grateful he did. A nice dude who is extremely meticulous which I really appreciate in a haircut. There was no hurry. The haircut is one of the best I've had. Highly recommend this place. Thank you, Ben! read more

Ben is an awesome barber and EDB has the classic barbershop feel I was looking for. Thanks again.

Stopped by while in town for a music festival - I wish I could remember my barber's name, but she was fantastic, and I got an excellent cut for a very fair price. The space is also very cool. read more

My husband has been going to Kaycie the last couple of months. He loves how she gets his haircut done right each and every time. Also, the old school vibes at this barber shop are amazing. You can't beat the price of $25 per cut. An additional bonus: complimentary cold soda, water, and beers in their retro fridge. I am coming back here for my cut, as I found out from my husband that Kaycie also does female haircuts. Will update my review after my first visit here. read more

Went in and got a haircut with fairly long hair. Barber, I didn't get their name, took extra time to cut it short then cut it again to make it good. Was helpful, nice, and patient with what I wanted. read more

E.D. is such an awesome barbershop. My husband and I have been getting our haircuts with Kaycie for 5 years now and cannot sing her praises enough. She is quick, consistent and works hard to be available to her clients. She takes care of her regulars in a way that makes you feel appreciated. Most importantly, we look good when she is finished. She cut our hair for our wedding 4 years ago and 3 of our groomsmen have stuck with her ever since! Highly recommend the team at ED Bailey if you are looking for a new barbershop. read more

Ben did a great job, one of the better haircuts I've had in a long time. The people were great, the shop was clean and inviting. I would highly recommend them. read more

Great haircut by Kaycie! A top quality haircut! I'm going back...............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....

Consistency is the key to excellence and these guys and Kasey, are consistently excellent.

Best haircut I've gotten all year. The old timely atmosphere just adds to the whole experience in a very good way.

I was so excited to bring my husband here based on reviews. We traveled the half an hour from our house to the old town location. I had previously called and asked if they could accommodate walk-ins and I was told yes. When we got there a woman rudely asked without saying hello or welcome if we had an appointment. We told her no that we were walk ins. Without looking at the schedule or seeing what they could accommodate even if that meant a longer wait, she said they couldn't serve us and it would be almost a week before they even could. This is unacceptable. Don't say you can accept walk ins when you obviously cannot. Also, have a sense of customer service and actually be nice to new clientele. My advice, don't waste your time. Find a place that actually wants and values customers and treats them with respect. read more

I'm so grateful to be able to walk to this shop in the Old City and get a haircut I used to drive 3 hours for - no lie - I couldn't break the 3 year bromance between me and my barber-buddy James whom I become spoiled with at Oxford Barber Shop on the Vandy campus. Where was I gonna find a guy in Knoxville like OCD James?! Lo 'n' behold; enter Todd at E.D. Bailey Barbers. This guy is a great conversationalist, gives a wicked high & tight for hot weather and an awesome longer style for cold weather! The real test regarding his skills? My wife - she tells it like it is. If she says she really likes my haircut, it's a genuine compliment. While walk-ins are welcome, but I highly recommend don't an appointment, and best to book it 2-3 days out, especially for a Friday or Saturday. read more

After a couple years of growing my hair long, I decided to go short again, and was worried I wouldn't find the right person that would do it the way I wanted it. But Dominick killed it! I showed him a reference photo of what I wanted, and what he did ended up being a mirror image. I cannot recommend this place enough l! Great prices, great friendly staff. read more

Been going here for about 3 years now, Zoran has never done me wrong. Great rates, convenient location, would highly recommend for a quality haircut. read more

Prices are great!! Felt good to be in an old fashioned classic barbershop! I went on vacation right after my cut and got tons of compliments! Haha thanks! read more

Super disappointing. I called ahead for two appointments for my dad and myself and we ended up walking out. We showed up and we waited 45 mins past my scheduled appointment and still I had not been acknowledged or told we be seen soon. So sadly while I was hopeful for such a barbershop, we walked out. So sad read more

Really great barbershop. I'm visiting Knoxville for the Holidays and needed some hair repair- this place was awesome. Helped my hair recover from some sub par work. The shop itself is spotless and has a really cool vibe. Music playing is great and the staff are friendly and very good! Would definitely come back! read more

My husband was in town for a wedding and I found this place after seeing great Yelp reviews. He loved his haircut, even more than many places he's tried back at home. He said "the experience was amazing." And the price was a BARGAIN! read more

I've been to Knoxville visiting on several occasions and have always said to myself... I need to go in there for a shave. Well I finally did it and am kicking myself for not going all those times. Guys, the days of straight razor shaves are vanishing. Go see Spencer, he was excellent at the razor. I walked in and he got me right into his chair, but I highly recommend an appointment. If you're thinking about this just go do it. Treat yourself to a fine shave while in Knoxville. read more

I've been to E.D. Bailey Barbers 4-5 times. I've seen multiple barbers here and they all do an amazing job. I had never had a beard trim prior to visiting here and I had NO idea what I was missing out on. They did magic on my beard which I already thought looked pretty damn good. I even trusted them to trim me up for my wedding and my wife said it was the best haircut she's ever seen on me. 11/10. read more

High quality Barber's, very friendly staff. Great establishment! Good prices and typically easy to get an appointment.

Went here last minute and they where able to fit me in and give me in a fantastic hair cut! Super glad I found this place.

Kasey always makes me look so sharp! She's fast and good with the straight razor. Thanks!

Excellent environment for a barber shop. My man Spencer was very prompt and could carry a nice conversation. You could tell he definitely took his time and didn't rush anything but still got me out in under 45 minutes. Super satisfied w the end result and he went ahead and trimmed my facial stubble without me asking. Nice touch to offer a beer when you walk in. Will be back whenever I'm back in town and a little scraggly. Also call ahead if you can, walk ins are available but it's not their fault if someone calls ahead or walks in before you considering they only have 5 barbers at a time @ previous reviewer. read more

Very cool environment. Everyone is extremely professional and nice. Always able to get in pretty quick. Shout out to John as well. Great guy and hands down best barber I've had. read more

Saw Sammy, was recommended by a friend. Excellent beard trim. Beer and soda available while you wait.

This place has an awesome environment and the people are great too. I have been going back for months now and will continue to do so! You are always greeted with a hello as soon as you walk in the door! read more

Aside from the great service, I love the atmosphere here. Perfect fit for the Old City. Welcome to downtown Zoran and Kaycie!!

Zoran cut it up nice! Enjoyed the conversation! Been here a few times and I always leave feeling like a hundred bucks. Great business!

Gentleman this is definitely a barbershop you don't want to miss out on! I went all out and got a haircut and shave. My experience did not disappoint. Zoran - the barber is probably one of the coolest persons I have met. I loved the vintage 1920's theme in the shop. Zoran also uses some neat, vintage techniques like the original cologne created. I'm two weeks into my haircut and it's still looking fresh. You can't beat the prices of this place. I'm eager to say that I have a barber to go see on a regular basis which is something I have never had. read more

Fantastic barber shop! Great cut, super great owner, and a great atmosphere! Totally recommend!

Zoran is a great barber and amazing with children! Gives a proper haircut and offers a sense of style!

Zoran is a great guy with a real talent. His shop's vibe is so cool, could hang out there for hours. Fantastic shave, check him out!

I had a great first experience here, probably the best fade I've ever had. Went back today and they where all booked up, so I had to go to another barber shop. I'll being making an appointment to go back to get my hair fixed. Because the barber shop I went to today definitely gave me the worst haircut. I learned my lesson, I should have been patience and waited. read more

Amazing new shop. Zoran was a great guy to talk to, and has the skill set that rivals any barber in Knoxville. Please go and support this local business. read more
