Beware of Deceptive Sales Tactics & Poor Service
My experience with this dealership was extremely disappointing due to dishonest practices, mismanagement, and misleading sales tactics.
Misrepresentation of Anti-Theft "Device"
Salesperson Tyler misled me about the anti-theft protection I was purchasing. I specifically requested an anti-theft device, only to later discover that the $600 charge was for an anti-theft protection plan--not a physical device. The so-called plan included a die-cast cooler on the VIN, but no actual security device. Even worse, Tyler assured me that if my bike was stolen, I would receive $5,000 after 30 days. What he failed to disclose was that this compensation would only apply toward my next purchase, rather than as direct reimbursement.
Unacceptable Delivery Experience & Inspection Issues
I informed the dealership that I would pick up my motorcycle 5 to 7 days after purchase, since they do not offer free delivery. However, on the scheduled pickup day, I received a call only five minutes before my arrival, telling me that the pre-delivery inspection had not been completed. They asked me to come at a later date--despite having called to confirm pickup an hour and a half earlier. Their excuse? No mechanic was available.
After waiting over two hours, I finally inspected the motorcycle--only to find that a proper inspection had never been performed. One of the most alarming discoveries was that the brake line had air bubbles, posing a significant safety risk.
Hidden Fees & Overcharging
To add insult to injury, the dealership added miscellaneous charges like a document fee in the final sales invoice, a tactic commonly seen in predatory business practices.
I would give a negative star rating if possible. I strongly discourage anyone from doing business here.
Better Options Exist--Do Your Research!
If you're considering service work, I urge you to call multiple stores before committing. For example, Conlon Motorsports in Fort Saskatchewan quoted $287 for a basic first oil change, whereas Conlon St. Albert offered the same service for $100 less.
Final Verdict: Avoid this dealership at all costs. Their deceptive sales tactics, lack of professionalism, and questionable pricing practices make them a business I cannot recommend to anyone. read more
