We were truly lucky to have found her. Throughout our entire wedding planning process, we were very appreciative and grateful to have Jordan by our side. We relied on her heavily. Her guidance and support made everything about our wedding so much easier. We trusted her fully. We can't recommend Jordan and her team enough. Our wedding was April 15, 2022 at the Atlanta History Center. We first started working with Jordan in July 2018. Yes, we had been planning our wedding for about 3 years 9 months. No, we did not plan it that way. Our original wedding date was May 30, 2020. My wife and I had planned for a roughly two-year engagement and wedding planning period. Then of course, COVID happened. Our wedding was postponed twice: First, to May 7, 2021. Then, to April 15, 2022. Jordan was with us and supported us every step of the way. We went from planning a pre-COVID wedding to a post-COVID wedding. We went from in-person planning sessions to virtual planning sessions. We went from "normal" tastings to masked and socially-distant tastings. (BTW, the tastings - both for the food at the reception and for our wedding cake - were some of my favorite parts of the planning process.) We found Jordan after doing internet searches for Atlanta wedding planners. Jordan was one of multiple planners we contacted. One of the planners we spoke to wasn't a good fit. She recommended Jordan to us. Also, an Atlanta wedding photographer I know put in a good word about Jordan. After meeting with Jordan, my wife and I agreed, Jordan was an excellent fit. We immediately felt comfortable and jived with her. Coincidentally, Jordan and my wife went to the same college for undergrad (Emory) and Jordan and I are from the same part of North Carolina (Piedmont Triad). We've gotten along with Jordan so well that we consider her and her husband our friends. They are just really good people. Jordan is very professional and organized. With her years of experience in the wedding industry, particularly in Atlanta and with our venue and vendors, I knew we were in great hands. In general, my wife was more involved in the planning process with Jordan - she was more particular about certain details than I was. However, I think I was involved at an "above-average" level for a groom. I attended every meeting, but admittedly, tried to stay as hands-off as possible. For example, I already had an existing relationship with TRIO, so I got them to do my custom tux. My wife and I already had our minds set on a Swan House wedding. Jordan made it happen. She and her team, along with many of the vendors we chose, have a lot of experience working together *and* working at the Atlanta History Center. So, for the most part, everything was quite easy. I think the hard part, at least for me as the groom, was decision-making on certain details (e.g. menu) and getting our guest list in order. In addition to securing the vendors that fit us best, Jordan and her team (including Sydney Woods and Gerard Wright) took care of so many details, I can't even begin to tell you; from reviewing and coordinating contracts and payments to little things on our wedding day, such as getting lip balm for my lips that were chapped from so much kissing. The unanimous response was "hire a day-of coordinator." My husband and I had already done a lot of the planning so we didn't need a wedding planner but the idea of someone else handling all of the details in the days leading up to and on the day of the wedding sounded like a great idea. Hiring Jordan and Kristen was one of the best decisions we made and some of the best money we spent on the wedding. They were with me all day as I was getting ready, ran interference on the couple of inevitable hiccups that happened with guests and wedding participants, ironed my dress one more time, made sure we ate, and even played chauffeur since the church and reception venue were so close that we hadn't hired outside transportation. WedFlix produces classy, high-quality, cinematic videos. We were very pleased with WedFlix and recommend them. Admittedly, our first choice for videography was Justin Peay Productions. He's from Statesboro, just like my wife. Unfortunately, Justin wasn't available for either our initial wedding date in 2020 nor our final wedding date in 2022. It just wasn't meant to be. If I recall correctly, Justin Peay was significantly more expensive than WedFlix. We originally signed a contract with and made an initial payment to WedFlix in 2019, so we got 2019 pricing in some regard. COVID ultimately delayed our wedding for two years. We initially purchased the "Mom's Choice Videography Package" for $2,800. Mom's Choice came with 8 hours of coverage (first look through send-off), 2 videographers, drone footage, a 4-7 minute highlight video (trailer), and a full 25-40 minute video including interviews (if we wanted interviews; we declined that option), first look, the ceremony, speeches/toasts, the cake cutting, and dances (first dance, mother-son dance). Our full wedding film actually clocked in at over an hour, due mainly I think to my dad's long "toast." In addition to the above, the film included nice montages of scenes from our cocktail hour, reception dancing, and send-off. We had to move our wedding twice due to the pandemic. First, from 2020 to 2021. Second, from 2021 to 2022. Due to the unprecedented nature of the pandemic, our venue and all of our vendors did not charge us for the first date change. However, we did start getting dinged for the second date change, which was understandable. WedFlix charged us $300 for the second date change. Later, my wife and I decided to add an Instagram Video to our package for $150. The video is a one-minute highlight trailer designed for Instagram and other social media platforms. Weeks before the wedding, when filling out WedFlix's questionnaire to better tailor their video to our vision (very important), they gave us an option for a "Drunken Interviews Edit." This is where they interview wedding guests during the reception for marriage advice and "words of wisdom." I thought it would be funny so I added it onto our package for $200. To me, our guests were a very important part of our wedding. The Drunken Interviews Edit was a good way to showcase them. In the end, the final total cost we paid to WedFlix for everything was $3,450. We loved all of the videos we received from WedFlix and thought everything from WedFlix was totally worth it. They captured the best day of our lives so far and we will cherish the videos they made forever. Out of all of the videos WedFlix made for us, our favorite is the wedding trailer: https://youtu.be/qCchwS6dAZs. It perfectly and beautifully sums up our wedding day in 5 minutes. Such outstanding work. We couldn't be more happy with it. If I had to nitpick, our final wedding film did not come out perfect. The two main issues were: (1) There was no footage of the bridespeople coming down the stairs at the reception. Admittedly, I think that was a function of our large, unique ceremony venue and there being only two videographers and three cameras covering the ceremony. (2) The audio sounded blown out during several parts of our reception. It was hard to understand the MC. I let WedFlix know and they were able to create a second version of our full wedding film which corrected the issues. However, a new issue arose as a result - the second version of the film had a slight echo in the music during our cake cutting. The echo couldn't be corrected, so I asked WedFlix to create a *third* version of the film that combined the best audio from both the first and second versions. I appreciated that they did all that to make sure we were happy with the final product. WedFlix's turnaround time was fast. During a busy wedding season/year (spring/2022), all of our videos were ready in only 18 days from the day of our wedding. I never usually post reviews but this experience was something I couldn't ignore and feel like it's best to warn anyone considering this venue. Contrary to the what you should expect from a venue called "Love to Dream", our experience was an absolute nightmare. The venue is fairly new. It switched owners in Oct 2023. This new venue owner was unprofessional, quality of work is low because he tries to run everything himself. We went to observe a wedding and he was literally pausing and playing the ceremony music from his phone. Also wasn't sure if he checked with the couple if they were okay with us being there. He will get things done, but it won't be the best quality work (compared to other all inclusive venues we looked at). We made the mistake of booking this place first before looking at other venues. The prep kitchen is dirty - we found a tray of moldy chicken in their hotbox that had probably been there for a couple of weeks, which ultimately made us reconsider if we wanted to continue working with them. We were touring the barn with a separate coordinator that we hired because he was unpleasant to communicate with, and even she was appalled by the mold. The prep area in the barn is also unorganized and unused equipment are not stowed away from the view of guests - it's just sitting to the side of the barn. We were so fed up with his unprofessionalism and dirty conditions that we would rather lose our deposit than to keep dealing with him, so we terminated the contract. He didn't seem to care why because he already seemed fed up with us. We booked them 7 months before our wedding but he didn't reach out about anything by the time we were 3 months out. Based on my exchanges with him, he seemed to not want to answer my questions and only cared about his bottom line. As a first time bride, I just had questions about how things would be run and more clarification on what he would be responsible for. He was obviously tired of my questions said he wanted to get on a final call because he "kinda didn't wanna answer the same questions" (his actual words and that was not the case). Those who have planned a wedding before know that there's so many moving pieces that you can't possibly have just one call to go over everything. And based on his demeanor, I definitely couldn't trust that everything would get done with high professionalism and quality. The venue owner doesn't care about customer satisfaction, and you will definitely get what you pay for. I should have paid attention to the red flags. Before I booked him, we spoke over the phone about his package details, and at one point, he casually mentioned that he was okay terminating the business relationship if things didn't work out. This should have been a sign to avoid working with him. Strongly advise to avoid this place at all costs unless you don't care about quality, cleanliness, or customer satisfaction. The venue owner's lack of support, unprofessional behavior, and disregard for food safety make it clear that this is not a reliable or safe option for hosting events. Luckily we found a new venue and are so glad we didn't continue with this one. Our day turned out beautifully.
