On Point Painting

I'm super happy with On Point Painting. My place is stucco, needed some patch work done, and had…read morenever been painted before. Ever. It's patched and painted now and looks super! First, Cliff is a really nice guy. It's always great to work with nice people. He came out ages ago to give me a quote. I had met with about seven painting companies and the quotes ranged from $3,000 all the way to $12,000 (the let's rip off the woman price)! Cliff came in at the lower mid range of those quotes. More importantly, he really worked with me and my wacky schedule. I had a three day window to get the job started two months out from when he originally came to see the property. He was happy to work with that and fit it around other jobs. When the time arrived, Cliff and his crew came out as planned, cleaned the buildings, prepped for hours (there is so much prep and clean up with painting!), and started painting. The new colors look even better than we hoped. Because the buildings are stucco, they sprayed and back-rolled the whole project. Every day they were here they cleaned up before leaving and made sure there was no trash or debris lying around. Upon completion of the job, they cleaned up, walked the property and left it very tidy. I appreciate that. I've had people work here who left it like a war zone. Not On point Painting. They are clean and neat! Isn't clean and neat what you want from your painters? I like On Point Painting and really recommend them. Cliff is conscientious. If he says he's going to do something, he does it. Can't say that about too many people these days.

We had the pleasure of working with Clifford . Great attention to detail. High quality. A+read more

Fearless Painting

Feerless Painting was recommended by a friend. This is a family business. Jeff is the owner and…read moredad, and is the person who runs the show. His two sons and a friend do the work. My friend described her experience as being joyful. My experience is the same. I don't know that I am too different from the average customer. I had trouble committing to paint colors. I spent hours and days looking at color chips. When they started their prep work on a Friday, I was still looking. I finally gave them my color choices that evening. Jeff said he wouldn't pick my colors for me but he did nudge me in the right direction. I wanted a light and airy feel. We went with a couple shades of white and accents of mostly sage greens. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Paint, Slow Dance. It is a light sage and is beautiful, especially with Delicate White from the same brand. The job started with us wanting to paint the living room, kitchen, including the cabinets and the master bedroom. After meeting with Jeff, the project grew into painting two bathrooms, including the cabinets and two more bedrooms. This included all of the ceilings, some interior doors and trim as well. And after they started we added several more doors to the project. The job also included patching a few defects in the walls, especially areas where the sheetrock tape had failed. Everything inside the house was painted as well as the exterior doors and some exterior window trims. We added to the project almost daily. My friend did the same thing with them. We just purchased the house. Someone had put a lot of energy into painting the walls, some with a suede and others with an Italian plaster texture. We were really going to try to enjoy what they did, but they simply used dark ugly colors! We are so happy that we freshened the entire house. These guys show up ready to work every morning, on time. And they work solid all day. I can't say enough as to how organized they are. It was estimated for the job to take a week and a half. And with the add ons, they still finished on schedule. And besides being extremely efficient in their work, you can see and hear their joy throughout the day. I highly recommend Fearless Painting.

I had too much to do in our new home to do the painting, so I reluctantly hired a painter. I was very pleased with Sunset Painting. Alex takes his time with prep (which is 75% of the job). The result is a clean detailed job. On top of that, his price was the best.

But Alex is an exception. His painting is perfect. I was very happy with the quality of his painting job, and his prices were on par with others as well. I called maybe a dozen painters before one of them came over to give me a quote. I figured if they can show up to quote, they can show up to paint. I read about one painter whom I had called earlier out of desperation, even though I read that when he could not finish a job on time, he offered to pray for the owner. Nobody wants a painter praying for them, for crying out loud. Customers just want the job done within the specified timeframe and completed in a professional manner. Not only did Alex paint my entire ceiling and fix all of the cracks that had been there for 10 years since the 2006 Hawaii earthquake, but he made a considerable effort to complete the job within the time frame I had given him. The reason he had to be finished within 10 days was because I had flooring contractors coming who would not appreciate him in their way, and the flooring contractors had to finish in time for when my husband's plane landed. So there was a great deal of stress on my part, and Alex met that deadline.
