Authentic and delicious are the words that come to mind. If you are looking for a relaxed and…read moreunique experience, this is the place. Friendly and helpful staff, especially since we are limited in our German skills. We had the eggplant appetizer (#2) served with pita bread. It was a delightful dish! The combination of spices with this dish were not overwhelming but complimented the dish very well. The chef even gave us a complimentary appetizer that included fresh herbs, cheese, radishes and onions. A fresh balance of flavor a to counter that of the eggplant. For dinner we had chicken skewer marinaded in saffron lemon (#47) served with rice and a small side salad. A light tangy flavored chicken with a light and fluffy rice. The side salad had an exquisite dressing. More of a vinaigrette and again, light and tangy. The other dish was (#68). It was a chicken dish with rice. The chicken was served in a baking dish with an AMAZING sauce!!! The flavor a in this dish really gave my tastebuds a burst of joy! The portion sizes were ample and almost too much. Prices were reasonable and again the staff was great. I highly recommend this place if you are searching to experience great food and service.

I am a Lahmacun afficionado. I travel all over Europe and everywhere I go I seek out lahmacun…read more Near the beginning of the year I came in around 6pm. The place seemed Clean, but not too Bright. Sort of like lounge lighting. Friendly service. The Meat sticks looked nicely seared so I was looking forward to a nice snack. Of course I ordered Lahmacun. If you know Lahmacun, then you know the bread/dough is important. "World of Kebap" gets it right on the money. The dough is cooked in a large wood burning oven in the middle of the restaurant. It came out ever so slightly charry, giving it an initial crunch on top of the slightly chewy goodness. The relishes and condiments were fresh and flavorful, but did not overpower. I added a little dry chili at the table. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the meat or should I say, lack thereof. Like I said, I've been around and had my fair share of Lahmacun. Usually I end up with almost too much meat and the guy making it seems to exert some effort rolling it up. Here, tonight, not so much. I'm not saying I need a pound of Donerfliesh, but somewhere in the middle would be nice. I would definitely go back. You can check my other reviews for similar cuisine nearby.

My five stars are for the food. The ambiance is fine (clean), and the staff (one server) was great. I would worry about coming at peak hours, as they would need an additional server. I will be back!

I also had the house merlot which was perfect! The space is relaxing as it is filled with living plants. It reminds me of someone's home. The waiters are dressed nicely and the drinks were promptly served. Oh l had pumpkin soup that was to die for. What a great place. The only thing that may turn people not familiar with the area off is the restaurant is kind of hidden in an area that you wouldn't think there would be a restaurant. Very local. The train station is directly across the street.
