When I told the young man that some in my party had never had a Doener, it must have been a challenge :). Look at this! The meat was juicy, and lasted all lthe way to end of my Doener. Yes, I ate this whole thing! The vegetables were fresh, and the sauce excellent. I mention that the meat lasted all the way through my sandwich because in the States, the meat is literally on top and the rest is veggies. When I go here the next time, I am showing them what a Doener SHOULD look like. It was still hot in Frankfurt when I visited a few weeks ago, so we sat outside to catch the breeze. Everything was very clean, and the staff was super friendly. I am coming back on a regular basis, this will be one of my weekly stops again.

A bakery cashier caught it instantly but it escaped our untrained eyes. This isn't the first time a foreign currency of low value was passed along to us though. The food was always tasty and I usually ordered either the chicken doner or doner box. Despite this Yufka's was not my doner of choice in Heidelberg, and I always found the meat a little dry. The doner also usually needed more sauce. I would still eat at Yufka's again because of the convenience and location, and the food is ok. It might be worth it to look for a better kebab in Heidelberg though.
