We were told that all the clothing is made in France and England. I have no reason to suspect otherwise. Assuming this is true then Heroines is a bargain! Perhaps it is my Bronx skepticism kicking-in. The manager/salesperson was outstanding but I can't remember her name. I don't want to say how much we spent, but let's just say we greatly surpassed the US incoming custom's exemption. I guess we'll just need to donate the excess prior to re-entering the homeland...

Nina helped choose some things that were wonderfully complementary to my body shape stating "it's not about size, but shape". As I'm a few sizes larger in France then the US, this was very helpful to hear. She was a great sales person, spoke beautiful English and was a lot of fun. I adore the jacket I bought and am actually looking forward to colder weather so I can wear it and let the complements roll in.

I was a little surprised to see the prices here considering that this store only has one euro sign on yelp. Do not be fooled, the prices are quite high, but that is because the type of clothing they sell is very high end. Their selection is very well curated- I saw many top high fashion brands as I perused. Although I did not leave with a purchase, I enjoyed looking through the store. There are definitely some sweet finds here, with most of the clothes in near mint condition, as long as you've got a big budget! The other stores in the little galerie are also quite nice and expensive, but once again very well put together. Definitely worth a visit, even if it's just to window-shop.
