The professionals at DZONE were awesome, and my overall experience for my first jump was outstanding! My only problem was, being rather portly, and the aircraft so small, maneuvering my legs into position to exit the airplane. Being positioned to first exit the airplane, my body was right up against the airframe wall, with no room to pivot my legs to the door opening for egress. I would recommend positioning the smaller individual nearest the exit to go first, leaving plenty of room for the larger, usually less flexible person to get their legs out the door once the smaller individual has exited. It was cool to be able to steer the parachute; that was my favorite part. I would recommend wearing hearing protection during freefall, as the sound of the wind is so loud.
