They do a great job of incorporating gymnastics fundamentals in a fun way. What may seem like a fun activity to them might be preparing them for vaulting or to dismount off the bars. I even took some adult tumbling classes. They were accommodating to all skill levels. Plus they made sure each level was appropriately challenged without feeling like they were holding anyone back. Registration and payments are made easy with an online portal and I love that they have ample parking.

TAGS is an amazing place. We had started our child in a community Ed gymnastics program and they did OK, but it was lacking in many areas (staffing, equipment, flexible time slots, being able to do multiple stations, etc.) But TAGS has multiple different skill levels, for girls and boys, so we were able to get our child into the right one, and then she moved up levels as she progressed. They run the business professionally but also personally. It feels like family. The staff truly are devoted and committed to help your child grow and get better, and ever feel bad if they are not able to do something. Stable staff, not a lot of turn over!! If you are new to the place, it may seem like chaos, but it is anything but. I LOVE, love, love, that my daughter is able to work on multiple different stations in her weekly hour session. (She doesn't get bore The parking lot is a bit congested, but as long as you know that and are prepared for it, it's no big thing. If in doubt, give them a chance and I feel you'll be glad you did!

I paid $25 for the non membership and my sister paid another $25. Online it never stated that we couldn't use regulation equipment. We were yelled at when walking up to equipment and were told we could only use little kid equipment meant for ages around 5-10. We were only there for 15 minutes. We did not enjoy our experience there and when talking about our concerns to an employee and they were difficult to communicate with. It was an unwelcoming environment with workers giving use looks and laughing at use when we tried using the equipment they provided. We were very disappointed and will not be coming back.

I picked this gym after doing a trial at IGM gymstnastics (and we live very close to IGM) b/c my child liked this one better and seemed to connect with the coaches here. When we started, the coaches were very good. Slowly, they put some of the coaches that are either not good with kids or less experienced. I put our child in gymnastics this early not so he could be the next Olympian but for the 'discipline' and 'exercise.' I would appreciate if the coaches for the child program actually enjoys working with kids and understand kids. My child is far from perfect but the program has gone downhill a bit and that's making me think twice about paying close to $22/lesson.

The owner of Classic Gymnastics took over our small, local gymnastics club (located in New Hope,…read moreMN) in July/August 2021. He took over management of SEVERAL gyms in 2021/early 2022, including three in MN and several out of state. The gym went RAPIDLY downhill. The owner made promise after promise (upgrades to the building, bringing in new coaching staff, team handbooks, monthly communication newsletters, a front desk person to help with administrative tasks, new leotards for team girls, etc...) The list goes on and on. Not one of those promises was kept, and when we we hold him accountable, he was incredibly rude and disrespectful to parents. I was incredibly concerned about safety because there were 13 team girls there practicing, with one, very inexperienced coach. I stayed at the gym for the entire team practice so that there would be another adult present in case something were to happen. We have since left, but are now hearing of this behavior at other gyms as well. I also recently heard the owner speak on a podcast stating that his goal is to turn his business into a large revenue producing business (50 mil) by 2025. Seems that he's more focused on making money than creating positive experiences for kids.

Unethical management! ZERO compassion for their employees…read morewellness. ZERO concern for the gymnasts health. They expect sick/contagious employees with doctors excuses to work. Too money hungry to care about the passionate HUMANS who are treated like machines. Very physically demanding and exposed to 100s of kids that carry germs yet refuse to consider their NEW employees may need to build immunity to MORE than just Covid AND prevent the spread. Are we aware that other illnesses exist in 2023? 1) Employees health and wellness should be a priority ESPECIALLY when working such a physically demanding job. 2) Most parents would appreciate coaches staying home if they are sick and contagious. I think their children's health matter more to them than a class being rescheduled. The paper pusher should retire, partake in anger management(voice angrily shaking during phone termination), and FOR THE LOVE OF GOD treat your current and FUTURE employees like humans. Especially when they give a 9HR NOTICE accompanied by an excuse from the emergency department. Thanks for the experience.

I brushed that aside due to the fact that my daughter was super excited to participate. I understand that this is for preschoolers, so I had low expectations on what she would actually learn, but I thought there would be structure. There is no structure. We've had two sessions at this place and both have been taught by a young teenage girl. The children run around with no guidance. This is literally no more than an open gym. A $90 open gym. I also watched two little girls bump heads, both with huge knots on their heads... no ice or aid of any kind. I'm asking for a refund, or maybe a prorated refund, more to follow.
