DWS is a goat rodeo. Highly dynamic due to how crappy their customer service it aka NONEXISTENT. Do NOT send your slide to them. Some combination of the following will happen: 1) Take months to be completed with no updates. 2) Cut incorrectly or wrong color. 3) They will take your Glock slide and send back an off brand slide. 4) Pedro will claim they have good customer media and to hit them up via phone, email, or social media - do not expect a response you idiots. Instead do the following: Throw your slide down a sidewalk, run over it a few times, and then put it in a blender. At least you will know where your slide is, when you will get it back, and it will most likely look better. read more

I sent in my slide for an RMR cut and cerakote, I disassembled my slide and provided my own channel liner and sent it in via UPS and it arrived from NorCal to SoCal in 2 days, they even sent me an email stating that they received my slide. Their stated lead time was 1-4 weeks, and they met it with one week to spare. I received it today and I must say the quality is A1! The cerakote looks phenomenal, I will definitely be contacting them again for future projects. read more

So I dropped off my gun for their 1 day cerekote and optic cut. I received it back 2 days later. I was very excited and happy with it despite the cerekote not being the tungsten that they showed me. A couple weeks later I finally had time to shoot it only to find out it would not zero. I later found out the the cut on CZ need to be at an angle for it to zero. I thought DWS would take care of this so I went back to see if they could fix it. Pedro helped me and did not give me an ETA. I was skeptical but I thought since I'm talking to the owner, I'm sure he would want to take care of his customers. I was very very wrong. Not only was I not given an ETA I was also not given a receipt. Pedro told me to leave JUST the slide and optic and take the frame and barrel home. This was on may 31st. After not hearing back from them in 2 weeks I began to see all the bad reviews and complaints of terrible customer service from this company and specifically the owner as well, Pedro. I found another gunsmith that would be happy to fix my gun and had a 1 week turn around. I had called DWS speaking to a younger gentleman asking if I could pick up my gun. He informed me that my slide had not been touched yet and that I could pick it up. Cool. 2 days later I drive to DWS which is 30 minutes away from where I live. Sure 30 minutes isn't so bad. I again speak to Pedro asking for my gun back and he denied my request. I was shocked. So he denied giving back my property. I asked why and his response was "if we screwed it up we want to fix it. If we have to re cut it we will do it right". I explained that I did not want them to fix it and that it was my property that he is holding from me. He went to the back really quick came out and said that my slide is in pieces and was being recerekoted... so.. you recerekote my gun only to have it tested, then recut, then recerekote it again??? After 2 weeks of not being serviced and a call and answer that I could pick up my gun back THAT HAD NOT BEEN SERVICED. That does not make any sense. As far as I know you have to sand blast the cerekote before doing a cut and then it cerekote again. So why do it twice? I am continuing to request my gun back even tho it is "in pieces" at this point. I even ask if there is any payment for it that I could pay to get it back. He said there will be no payment at all. No payment so why keep holding my gun? As I explained to him that I did not want to keep coming down their he also tells me that I need to bring my frame, barrel, and guide rod... seriously. Pedro had personally asked me to JUST leave the slide and red dot. That is an hour total out of my day and gas tank. It wouldn't be that bad if I didn't have to go there 4 times and have horrible experiences every time. He goes on and tells me how he drives a diesel truck and that it's not that far of a commute for me. I'm sorry but am I the owner of the business? I am taking an hour out of my day to be lied to and disappointed and told to keep coming back. Apparently they tried to call me but I have no record what so ever. He gave me his number and I came back the next day to drop off my barrel and frame on June 13. At this point I have to contact Pedro every week for an update because I am not given one at all. All he tells me is that the gunsmith at another location is testing it and they are waiting on the results. I decide to contact the gunsmith that DWS sent my gun to be tested to see what they have to say. They informed me that they have had my gun for a while and that they need the barrel and guide rod. Didn't I just drop it off weeks ago??? I contact Pedro. He informs me that they need it. So I guess he just found out??? This is on June 25th. I told him that I had brought it and personally handed it to him. No response until July 2. Just crazy. They found the barrel and finally got it tested. Finally July 6 my gun is apparently ready to be picked up. OVER A MONTH FOR A 1 DAY OPTIC CUT DEAL. I decide to bring a witness along with me just in case. I pick up my gun excited to have it back after it had been forcefully held from me even tho I denied their service. Tbh I was just excited to have my gun back after it had been forcefully held so I didn't look at all the details. I just wanted to get out of there. When I get home a realize a few things wrong. First off I will say my experience with DWS has been nothing short of amazing. I had several changes on my order, each and every time they were very accommodating and helpful! ANYTIME I messaged them on IG I got a response within a half hour(usually minutes) from the owner Pedro. When I called in and spoke to Sonia, she was the most helpful, courteous and sweet lady. I ended up placing my order on black friday and got it about a week ago but that was not there fault. I say that to say this.. WELL WORTH THE WAIT!! I could not be any happier with how clean this thing came out and how awesome it feels to shoot. Having an optic cut and not using the MOS plate adapter is huge for me. Down to the smallest details that the website doesn't pick up in pictures, this thing is SICK! Even the cerakote is clean and perfect! Usually with a multicam patter it's hard to avoid buildup of the paint and causes issues for many rounds...not this one! Thank you to anyone involved in making this and getting it to me. Great customer service! I ordered a slide from the on Black Friday when they got absolutely swamped with purchase orders and had a lot to keep up with. Took a while to get my slide but they kept in contact with me and were transparent about everything along the way. Unfortunately when I got my slide, it wasn't exactly what I ordered, there was a mix up due to me changing my order around in the beginning, but they had me send it back and they cut, cerakoted and shipped out a new slide straight away and I got it within a week!! I couldn't be happier with this thing! Look SO CLEAN! If you order products that are in high demand from a company that is in high demand you're gonna have to be patient... but I gotta say it is worth the wait!! read more

I just purchased my Glock 17 with the stock iron sights and wanted to replace it with tritium night sights.. Its my first one so I wanted it done right. After days of searching, I was able to talk to communicate with the owner through yelp. They we're able to help me with the installation and was able to replace my plastic guide rod for a really great price! The owner and his staff is very helpful, and taught me a few things I can do with my gun. The first and one order I received from DWS was great work. The 3 additional orders have been a nightmare. I have waited 8 months for in-stock pre-cut slides that only needed cerakote, with no resolution. The communication and customer service is by far the worst in the business. Multiple slides and optics were supposedly shipped 6 weeks ago and have been trying to get the tracking number for all six weeks. Finally they said that the orders were lost and rather than completing any of my orders, they were refunding my money 8 months after the orders. I have been in contact with them many times and always got the run around. For over a week now I have been trying to get some type of receipt via email to verify the amount my card was refunded since it takes up to 10 days according to them. I cannot get this information. The communication is basically non-existent, I highly do not recommend them. I tried dealing with Sonia who never knows anything about the orders and even the owner Pedro, who is very nice but obviously no idea how to treat customers. Sorry I had to make this review but others should know what to expect. They also delete any complaints off their social media rather than dealing with the customer. read more

Purchased a precut Aggressor slide from these guys a little over a year ago. The process was super easy and I got my slide in a very timely manner considering how busy they are. Ive never dealt with a worse gun company. I sent my glock 19 slide to them for a simple optic cut without cerakote because the price seemed reasonable for the simple procedure. After receiving my slide they sent an email saying Id have to order a small part and have it shipped to them so they could install it or i could install it myself. None of this was mentioned or noted during the order process. After several calls to the owner he finally relented (what ever happened to the customer is always right?) and included the $4 part in the original price. I recently got the slide back with optic cut done and a bag of parts. Upon reassembly I discovered that they had drilled through to the extractor spring channel which did not allow the extractor spring to be installed. Now i either have to send it back on my dime and trust they wont screw it up further or take it to a competent gunsmith to repair. Moral: you get what you pay for! read more
