AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! I should have listened to all the bad reviews he gets. I hope you do the same. Shady place. I paid for an optic cut same day service, dropped off on Tuesday afternoon, called Wednesday when to pick up my slide, he said 6:00pm, when they close. then told me to pick it up Thursday at 3:00 I had to work so I went on Friday at 12:00 when I got there it was not done, and was told,He "had an oven issue". I waited there another hour so he could actually do the work. Walked away with an offset optic cut. Not even centered. Now I can't co-sight with the optic rear sight. Look at the pics.

DON'T TAKE ANYTHING TO THIS SHOP terrible service I ordered my parts 12/21/24 was a custom slide and barrel for my p320 and still to this day haven't got my parts back and I am not the only one either. Always excuses on why the parts aren't done. Then when they are "done" something comes up. Found Pedro through the off-road raptor scene and seen a lot of people take him parts to get done. From what I have seen and heard from people I know your parts aren't getting done unless you are trading work. If you have nothing to trade him for work that benefits him and his truck you aren't getting your parts done anytime soon. Dude is hard to get ahold of weather that's through his shop number and instagram that he is always posting on. As well as his personal number. Supposed to get my parts on an upcoming off-road event coming up we'll see if he brings the parts like he said he would. Talk to any other shop this work that I am getting from Pedro SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS LONG AT ALL. THIS IS RIDICULOUS. If I could give 0 stars I would!!!

Update: 01/08/2026 ORDER #14138 This company is running a deliberate and deceptive operation. After contacting Pedro regarding the fact that USPS still had not received my slide for shipment, he provided excuse after excuse, including the absurd claim that USPS "loses packages" or "sends them elsewhere." A package does not magically go "elsewhere" when the correct address is on the label--unless it was never addressed correctly to begin with. The shipping label was created on 12/02, yet the package showed no real movement for weeks. On 12/27, tracking suddenly updated showing the package in Coppell, Texas. I am located in Northern California. That alone was a massive red flag. On 12/31 it showed Oakland, CA, and on 01/02 it arrived at my local USPS facility. Here is where the truth came out. Although Pedro previously sent me a label showing my address, the package was marked as delivered to a completely different address in my neighborhood. I immediately contacted USPS. They pulled the scanned package and confirmed that the label physically attached to the box was NOT my address. It was an entirely different address. USPS was very clear: the package was delivered to the address printed on the label, and they could not retrieve it. USPS explicitly stated that the shipper--Pedro--had shipped the package to the wrong address. This was not a USPS mistake. When confronted, Pedro's response was simply, "That blows." He refused to provide the address my property was shipped to and continued to claim he "packaged the slide himself," while simultaneously denying responsibility. He insisted it was shipped to my address, despite USPS confirming that was categorically false. At this point, the pattern is undeniable. This was not an accident. This was either gross negligence or intentional misdirection. Either way, my property is gone. I took my Glock 19x slide and my 17c slide for an optic cut I was happy with the final outcome . The gentleman was very polite and easy to talk to took care of me with a 45 min turn around would highly recommend

Where to start. I had the same lead time issues that everyone else had but on top of that they milled too much material off the top of my slide and compromised my drop safety on my XD so I had been using a pistol without a drop safety for who knows how long. On top of that my gunsmith told me the cut was crooked AND because they made the cut without leaving slide material to support the rear of my optic, so it was at risk for shearing the screws and flying off. Absolutely criminally negligent and on top of that they treat their customers like trash unless you sing their praises. Edit: To answer the comment below 1. My gunsmith has a complete understanding of this and showed me how milling into the drop safety can and will cause it to malfunction. 2. I actually never requested my front sight to be recut I'm not sure what he's referring to? Also my gun isn't in multicam so I think he has the wrong order. 3. I left it at the front door at 1035am july 17th according to my call logs when they were open. It's irrelevant though since they confirmed they received it? 4. Of course it has an optic on there, you installed it yourself in 2022.

EDIT: November 4, 2025 Haven't received my slide back. It has been nine months for an optics cut. I went to the store location a few days back to get my slide back, after being told everything was done they were just waiting for my optic. Sure. The store was closed two hours before their listed time and no one answered the phone until around an hour after. I let them know that I wanted my slide back regardless of the state it was in and was told no "they don't do that." They stated they would be liable if they gave me my gun and I couldn't reassemble it. Insanity. The person on the phone requested to call me back after he "officially" closed the store at 6pm to have a "conversation" about what we are going to do about my slide. That I could "potentially" pick it up the next day. I told him to just text me the details as I had things to do and I wasn't sure why we needed to have a "conversation" for him to give me back my slide. I have heard nothing back for six days. Right after the call I contacted the Huntington Beach PD and they got me in contact with the LA field division of the ATF. I let them know I had requested my slide back but DWS was refusing to give it back. Both groups let me know they will contact me back after they look into it. I highly recommend if you are currently waiting for your slide and Pedro is refusing to send your property back to contact the Huntington Beach PD's non-emergency number. 714-960-8811 Hopefully they can help you out. Next step is small claims if my slide isn't returned to me. What a complete waste of time.

Well after 15 months of waiting, endless attempts to call the store and incredibly frustrating "live chats", I finally received my order of three magazine extensions. This would have been the conclusion to a 15 month saga if they'd actually sent the correct items and included everything that was supposed to be in the order. Not only did they send the completely wrong color, they neglected to include the springs needed to make the mag extensions work. So now I am left with three useless pieces of metal, in the wrong color and almost no hope of ever getting back in touch with this terrible company. The coating on the magazine extensions is also scratched down to bare metal fresh out of the box and looks like it was sprayed on by a child. My warning still stands, so not order ANYTHING from this business, go to any other company. read more

So this will be my 2nd time doing business with DWS. First time I had a slide cut and Cerakoted (I live local so no need to ship). The communication and customer service was a bit patchy, but giving them the benefit of the doubt. They are a small (very inviting) mom and pop shop that are dealing with im sure a flock of orders from people all over the place. Mistakes happen, miscommunication happens, mix that with a firearm enthusiast, Gun nut excited customer who can't wait to get their new slide back. You get some rather hurt feelings when inconveniences arise. As far as people stating about, reporting DWS to the better business bureau for "fraud". I seriously doubt that this family of people are going to scam you for your slide and your money and never resolve the problem and completely forget you exist. If you're sending your slide in for work, and don't pay for a same day work, or don't live local. Just get it through your head that you are probably NOT going to see your slide for quite sometime, period. But when the day comes that you do receive your slide, or you have the privilege of handling a firearm with a slide done by DWS. You will know where that money, and time went! The quality of their work is unmatched, truly unmatched. We're talking, not even agency arms can compete with the level of workmanship these guys are pumping out. From the gorgeous Cerakote work, to the absolutely robotic slide cuts and textures, to the tolerances of everything. I wish I could cuss on yelp because I need it to help me enhance the description of their work. To the entire family at DWS, I will continue to fight with you guys and bother you with a hundred "WHERES MY ORDER" messages as long as I shall live, because the end result that you guys put out is PRIMAL. I can't say anything about their work and how well everything came out, but their customer service sucks BALLS!! I've been calling several times a day, at different times of the day, for many days and ABSOLUTELY NO ONE PICKS UP THE PHONE!! I really don't understand how you run a business if your one and only phone line is not picked up. I was promised a couple of times on the SUPER RARE occasions that they miraculously did answer the phone, that they would ship out my stuff that day or by the end of the week and weeks later still nothing. I have more stuff to send in, but I'll be picking someone else who actually PICKS UP THEIR PHONE and KEEP THEIR PROMISES. read more

I got blocked from their IG after I told them that I would expose them for fraud. Never do business with people who takes your money and gives you excuses and lies. They said that I was full of it. Really?? I guess your business is full of lies. Explain how you would "assemble" a precut slide with no internals. I'll wait....I'm sure you'll see this and jump on it right away but as for peoples orders, you won't. You'll have time for everything else, except for doing actual work. Must be nice to spend other peoples money on a brand new truck. Seems like you have time to work on that but not peoples orders. I read all the reviews, same excuses and run arounds. Coming up with another sob story?? Using the pandemic?? Who else got sick there?? mailman not picking up orders?? 2/2/2022 Hey Chue, we actually blocked you because you where dm'ing clients and harassing them about using us and they all sent us screen shots and told you off. To avoid further issues and or drauma we did what we thought was best. If we can come to a mutual understanding we'd be happy to allow you back. -First off, I told them not to do business with you because I actually have proof. No one said anything to me. They told me off? where?? Show me their screenshots. You also ordered a slidecut when you wanted a precut sir. We explained this to you and now that your items are ready to ship you did a charge back so unfortunately we can't not ship these items to you at this time. Please contact us and will be happy to help resolve these issues in a professional manner. -Funny how you would say that. I've attached the screenshot so you can see it more clearly. If I ordered a "slidecut" that means I would have to send in my slide, which I did not. I ordered a precut slide that had blemishes and it did not fit my OEM barrel so I sent it back. Also, assemble is where all slides go to verify cuts, and everything is correctly done and if there's parts to be installed that when it's done. The same person does Qc as well meaning they check tolerances optic fitment and cerakote using tools like a depth gauge or micrometer. read more

I called back in June 2023 inquiring about a slide for my gen 5 . Sales rep told me he has one in stock and would ship it next day. I paid for 2 base plates traded in my original glock slide and paid for my own shipping after spending $500.00 I then get a call saying they dont have the slide in stock and offered me a different version. Part of the trade in included my optic would be transferred and supressor sights. I waited about 2 weeks before inquiring a simple update and it was nearly impossible to have someone answer the phone or email or a message on instagram. After a month I was told they cut the wrong slide and promised me they would send next couple days. (1 more month goes by) I called about 25 times periodically spread out through the months and kept getting a run around Fast forward 8-31-23 I finally receive my slide and (NO base plates) of course I was given the run around again. Job looked rushed and does not seem high quality. My Rear sight is not centered. Terrible terrible customer service, they are quickly getting a bad rep. They have multiple bad reviews on Better Business bureau. Dont recommend, dont let the flashy pics fool u from instagram and eye catching content. And they are going to try to (defend them selves by replying to peoples bad reviews) so unprofessional and just own up to your company's mistakes read more

Dropped off my Glock 19 slide for some work. Had a good amount of work done. Pedro and his team did an amazing job. You get what for and I am not disappointed at all. They had a wide selection of options to choose from. The time and effort they put into their work is top notch! They value their work and most importantly their customers. Not only did they go above and beyond they beat their lead time by 6 weeks. Yes incredible I received my slide 6 weeks before the deadline! I will definitely be returning back to them! I hate to have to write a negative review, especially because Pedro seems like a nice guy and I like to support local businesses, but I feel that it's the only way for me to get my stuff back at a reasonable time. To begin, I dropped off my slide in person on June 25, 2024 and I was quoted a 4-6 week lead time. That's longer than usual considering competitors are quoting 1-2 week lead times, but again I like to support local businesses (especially ones in the SoCal 2A scene) and I wanted to avoid having to ship my slide. On August 9th (3 days after the 6 week deadline) I sent an email looking for an update. I received no reply. On August 13th, I decided to visit them in person to get an update and I was told that my side was in the Cerakote phase and that it would be ready in approximately a week. A week later on August 20th, I visited them again to pick up my slide but I was told that the optic didn't fit and that it needed to be Cerakoted again so I needed to wait another week. Pedro also mentioned that when my slide was done I would receive an email, but there must be a problem with their auto update email system because the last update I received was for the "disassembly" step on July 2nd but apparently the slide has progressed to the Cerakote stage without any updates in between. It is now August 26th as of the writing of this review and I have received no updates or email confirmations. I can't help but feel that they're just giving me excuse after excuse to avoid giving me my stuff back for whatever reason. I can understand delays and problems, but I believe that I've been more than patient and reasonable in giving them an additional 3 weeks on top of the deadline. I recommend that they update their lead times to reflect more realistic wait times or find some other way to meet their quoted times. I'm more than happy to edit this review if anything changes and I get my slide back, but I'm not holding my breath based on other reviews I've read. P.S. Sonia worked with me to make sure everything was correct. She helped me from the very beginning until I received my slide back. I had an RMR cut milled and front slide serrations and 5 years later, no issues at all! The people at DWS Really care about customers and making sure you have a good experience. This was a long overdue review. I came in to DWS about a couple of months ago for their Responder slide for a g19 build I started. Don't get me wrong, I was reading and watching YouTube vid reviews so I have to admit I was a little hesitant doing business with them. I first spoke to Tyler I think it was over the phone to get a quote for the slide. He quoted me $450 so I was expecting to pay that. When I went to the store to pick it up, Pedro then gave me a different quote which was $550. He explained that since it was a ready to ship slide and there are no wait times, the price is different. Whatever. He did give me an optic cover, channel liner, and some rmr screws for free so that makes it a little better lol. They also told me that if I do get new sights in, they'll install it for free! Anyway, I just ran about 400 rounds through this build and the slide is flawless. No machine marks or any defects as far as I could see. Other than than the different price quote I got, I'm pretty happy with their cs (despite what I've read here or from YouTube). Will I purchase another build from them? Definitely. Recommend the place? based on my experience, yes I would. read more

Been a while since I stopped by, even though I'm local. Upon walking in Pedro always shows love and welcomes you. Hands down customer service and quality of products is all there. Brought my slide in for an optic cut and slide cuts, process was quick and straight forward. DISCLAIMER TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO SEND IN OR DROP OFF THEIR SLIDES FOR WORK...... it's a MINIMUM lead time so stop crying. Pedro and the team will get it done. Thank you again brotha! Had a p-01 slide mild. We had some scheduling and system errors on their end. I got it about a week later than we agreed. Ultimately, I didn't care as long as the work was good. I am here to say the work is absolutely solid. Had them mask and cerakote the optic cut as I didn't need a complete recoating. The lines are clean. Milling work is nice and square to the bore axis. One minor grip is that the screws they used to mount the optic have too big a head, no biggie I keep tons on hand. The price is competitive with the limited options us CZ owners have. Nice to know we have a shop that's local. I would say, keep in touch with them just to make sure you avoid any scheduling issues. But if you are like me and didn't really care too much about the lead time, it's a worth while place to go for milling. read more

Horrible customer service, Paid the entire invoice, back in July. It's now November and have not heard from this company. No answer by phone, and received two emails from them stating my slide was in "assembly/qc" assembly /qc for 4 months?? Brand new slide lost. I field a complaint with my bank, and got my money back but they kept my slide. Don't care about the slide, being done with this company is worth more. Stay away! read more

If you want some clean custom work done on your firearms, do not hesitate about going to Dynamic Weapon Solutions. The staff is great and very personable with their customers. The work they performed on my 1911s was outstanding and they have now completed several optic cuts and custom frame cuts on several of my firearms. Pedro and Sonia were very communicative on any questions that I had about the process and very responsive to my questions when I called in to inquire about the completion time of my slides. Not only do they provide precision work, they also have great prices on their Holosun Optics as well as rail lights for your firearms. I love the fact that they bore sight the optics for you when they install the optics on the completed work. When I took my firearms out to the range to test out, the optics were pretty much zeroed in! I looked at several other places out of the state to ship my slides out to have the work done, but why go through all of that when there is a local shop that I can physically walk into and actually see the options they provide in person. I highly recommend Dynamic Weapon Solutions to anyone looking to get their slide cut for an optic, custom frame cuts, or even looking to get a new cerakote on your slide. read more

So I got my slide worked on here and I must say the work done on it was top tier. They gave me what I asked for and then some. My only complaint was issues calling the number posted on their website. Took a long time to get someone on the phone in order to get an update on my order. All that aside the work was solid and I'm taking my pistol out to the range this week to check out functionality. Stay away from this company!!!!!!! You may never see your slides again! They can keep your slides forever and refuse to send them back to you. I sent my slides over 6 month ago and I have been calling them every couple of weeks and every time they will tell me that slides are almost done and will be send back to me in couple of days. And this has been going on for over 3 month. Then I just told me that I got enough of their BS and requested all my slides to be send back even if they are not done. They've refused it . I'm in a process of suing them and I also requested help from police to get my property back. Don't be surprised if they will be out of business soon. I'm not the only one who's having issue with this company. Do not trust a word they're saying ....They are bunch of liars!!!!! read more

Great work at a reasonable price. I got my Glock 17 cut for the Acro P2/Steiner MPS and my Glock 43 cut for a Holosun 507K. Not only did they do a quality job but they even expedited my order for free because I had an upcoming deadline. I took my Shield slide in the have it cut for a RMR on a Friday. After talking with Pedro, he convinced me to have it cut for a Holosun instead of the RMR and some top serrations. He said that the cerakote and cover plate would come with the order. I was told 6-8 weeks until it was finished. One day later I changed my mind about the color cerakote that I wanted so I called them to see about changing it. They said to call on Monday which I did. I read on their website about paying $100, they would provide "next day" service. I ask them about this and they said for the $100, they would have it done on Wednesday. ( 2 day service) They charged my credit card $108 (I don't think services can charge taxes?) Since I work late in the evening, I was not able to get there til Friday (4 days later) and was told that they cerakoted my slide the wrong color and that it would be done Saturday morning. I went there Saturday morning and my slide was done. The employee tried putting my slide on my gun when it went shooting off the gun, sliding across the counter top. He finally got it mounted and thanks me for coming in when I ask him where my Holosun is. He tried calling the boss on the phone only to get no answer. He said he'd call me back in an hour or so, which he did. Only to tell me the Holosun never came in. "Call them on Monday". I called Monday and they told me it would be there on Wednesday. Again, I went back on Friday only to be told it would be in "Next Week" I ask for a refund on the Holosun and was told they don't do refunds. I called the following Wednesday and was told it still was not in yet. I called my credit card company and disputed the transaction for the cost of the Holosun. Long story short.... I ended up with a slide with a scratch in the Cerakote, No cover plate that I was promised. Would I go there again?? Hell no. I'm surprised this guy is not being investigated by some Government agency for his shady transactions. I believe he tells everyone 6-8 weeks so it make it harder to dispute it with your credit card company read more

Additional comments. They said the turn around time would take around 3-5 weeks which was why I placed my order since I was going camping by then, but they took like 3-4 months. They didn't even contact me once my order was done. I had to contact them instead. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Update with my experience with DWS. They finished my slide after the first week, and since I was going out to Anaheim, CA for the Sand show anyways, I told them I'd just pick the slide up while I was there. DWS killed it. Brought my gen3 Glock 20 10mm into them and wanted a lot of work done on this bad boy. Mark II Destroyer milling with top window, vortex venom optic cut, Ameriglow Suppressor height sights, custom metallic multi cam cerakote, custom stippling and mounted my inforce 1000 lumen light as well. I initially found DWS in an internet search not realizing they were driving distance from my home. I was very excited to find a company that was set up to do optics cuts on guns other than Glock. Nothing wrong with Glock, but there are tons of companies that do optics cuts for them specifically. DWS was unique in that they offered the optics cuts on Smith And Wessons, which is far, far, more difficult to find ANYWHERE! Enough with that, I would like to say how great of an experience I had with them completing my optics cut. I cannot say enough good things about the level of customer service I received from Sonia and the very nice gentlemen (Didn't catch his name on the phone). Due to work obligations and short time frames for the necessity of the gun, My lovely wife( No clue about guns) volunteered to deliver the slide to DWS . Not only was she able to easily and painlessly deliver the slide, she was very impressed with how patient they were to her during the process. I dropped off my Glock 19 slide for an optic cut on Saturday June 26th. I left my optic and side and purchased suppressor sights from DWS. I specifically asked for the suppressor night sights. I was told no problem as they have the suppressor sights in stock. I figured I would just pay more and get them here at DWS since it's easier even though the price is higher than Riffle Supply by $30. First big mistake was trusting the employee as he lied to me that they have the suppressor night sights and that they had them in stock. Fast forward 3 weeks out I never got an email, text or phone call letting me know any update on my slide. I called and came into the shop and was told I would be getting an email and text once the slide is being ready to be cut which never happened. What kind of service business is this not providing any updates and making people wait for an update that does not come. I happened to call on Friday 7-23 and found out my side was ready to be picked up and I can come by and pick up the slide. During that conversation with Mike he asked is someone told me that I needed to pick up a channel liner. I said no as I never got a update call and when I dropped of the slide the guy never told me. No problem I went to Bolsa and picked up the channel liner. I got another call from Mike to remind me that to bring my optic and sights for him to install. I reminded him that they have my optic and I purchased the suppressor sights from them. Mike let me know they are out of the suppressor sights they sold me but I can go and pick up the sights from bolsa when I get the channel liner and he would talk to Sonja about refunding me since DWS sold me something that they do not have in stock. How can you sell me sights you have in stock and 4 weeks later sell those to someone else and not deliver the merchandise to me and say all sales are final. The term all sales are final, implies you delivered me the product. What type of inventory management system are you running to sell something and 4 weeks later sell that to someone else's and not deliver to item and then say all sales are final when you never delivered anything in the first place. On 7/23 Sonja said she would talk to Pedro on making this right and have patiently waited 1 week and no phone call or update. I called again and spoke to mike on Friday 7/30 and he said he would have Sonja call me back which never happened. Over the weekend I was at the FT3 and saw my friends there and was complaining about how DWS takes your money and doesn't have the product in stock as they sold the item you bought to someone else. So funny how I'm not the only one that bad experiences with them and will continue to make sure the bad experiences are know so people don't have to go through what I have went through. They came highly recommended to start with...Made an appointment over the phone so when I came in I could drop it off and go...They milled the slide out for a new optic and did a great job not ruining the custom coating that was already on it...They installed the optic, the new night sights and set it all up for me before I left...Also got a new recoil spring and fresh lube before they handed it back to me...Going back to get more slides done.. read more

If you're looking for a great gunsmith and customizer of your prized firearm - look no further than Dynamic Weapon Solutions. I have carried a firearm for close to four decades and have come to know my fair share of gunsmiths and gun shops. DWS is definitely a "cut above" and here is why I can say this. I bought a brand new Glock 30 SF before the Christmas holidays in 2020. I wanted a custom slide cut, an optic cut, a new Holoson optic, I wanted my slide cerakoted with a custom stars and stripes pattern - so I wanted a lot done. DWS took my gun in during the Christmas holidays and I got it back in mid-January. It didn't take took long at all as they were pretty backed up from all the end of year orders they already had received. When I got my Glock back, I was speechless as DWS had totally exceeded all my expectations. Pedro is the owner and he carefully listened to every single detail I had requested in the custom cerakote pattern that I had requested. His mother is named Sonya, she works at the front counter and helped me out during my first couple of visits to DWS, before I brought my weapon in to be customized. She is a wealth of knowledge on their process and made some great recommendations on the optic and type of slide cuts they had to offer. Don't waste your time with another gun customizer - this is a "one stop shop" and their new location is much larger than their prior shop from 2020. They can handle much more business now and have hired more techs --- so the wait time to get your gun back is reduced and reasonable. First off, I gotta say. All the people who complain in this section about the wait times need to understand that DWS is a household name in a lot of shooters homes, so with that comes a high volume of slides that need work that in of itself is meticulous as it is. So it's simple, if you want your firearm to be worked on by some of the best, you gotta be patient. If time is of the essence to you THAT much then have some FUD down the street do the work and don't be mad when you get a subpar product back. So with that said, the guys at DWS absolutely killed this job. I have 3 slides done by them and ending up taking my girlfriend into the shop to let her personalize her G19 and this was the perfection that we received back. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM PEDRO ROBBED ME OUT OF $1000 DOLLARS Took my gun august 7th and picked it up nov 2nd... the slide was not painted in tungsten grey and the barrel wasn't coated in gold, they robbed me out of the stippling I paid for and the $200 to expedite my order, also they had close to 3 months to order my x300 light and there excuse was it was back ordered. They didn't want to refund my money but give me store credit. Their whole store was empty af what was I suppose to take empty boxes home smh lol , I don't recommend this company to my worst enemy. The owner said he shipped my order nearly a full week ago. No acceptance shown on tracking. No receipt they dropped it off. No arrival scan. No departure scan. If you want to pay hundreds of dollars so they can take or lose your property while also blaming you, that would be the only reason to use this company for anything. The most useless owner and business period. I got scammed. Edit: DWS is now claiming they are ordering me a new H&K P2000 completed upper to mill it and put in the Holosun I ordered because they either never shipped my original order, or lost it. I've asked for proof that they've ordered this and for a timeline on when they will deliver as my original hell of a customer experience started all the way back in the first week of July. Everyone's FDE coloring is not really FDE except DWS, this is exactly what I picture when I think FDE not the light beige or burnt bronze everyone does. Was too trigger happy on the purchase and am paying the price. Though I can't comment on the quality of their work, I would advise anyone to think it through before doing business with them. To recap my recent experience, I was wanting to get an optic cut for my firearm though upon reconsideration, felt I best wait to see if I'd instead prefer to get a separate upper instead. Unfortunately, I'd purchased the service already which I attempted to cancel the same day. For full disclosure, one of their service representatives, Brian, did reach out to me the next workday and even offered store credit though upon hearing that I was dead set on canceling the order noted another person would reach out to me regarding the refund. This was after he'd alluded to all sales being final and me interjecting by asking how a business would prefer to go this route as opposed to doing what's right by the customer. However, after three unanswered calls on his end throughout the subsequent days, I was finally able to get a hold of someone from DWS who again informed me that all sales are final. I would advise anyone to stay away from them as I've purchased items through Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist from business and individuals with more integrity as it appears DWS has; especially if they would prefer to keep your money as opposed to making sure they make their money the right way. -To respond to the message below: thought that was strange as well as the person I spoke with said their name was Brian when the caller ID said Gonzalez, Pedro. They also hesitated to provide their name for a second or two when I asked for it at the end of our conversation which I remember thinking was odd. Maybe you were feeling a little sassy that day and were wanting to identify as a Brian just to see how the name fit, Pedro? This could be my very first yelp review as I normally wouldn't spend the time to write this. I'm sharing my DWS ordering experience. I'm on week 15 since I ordered a precut slide and I'm still getting the run-around. -I ordered a precut (no slide to send in, cut from a blank) on November 30th, 2020. The website says 6-8 weeks lead time (it still says this). -Week 10: Two weeks after I should have gotten the slide. I sent them an email as there was zero follow up on my order. They said "will be in touch shortly with an update". -Week 11: I asked for an update as I was expecting one "shortly". They responded with "Its processing and should be out asap." -Week 12: I asked if there was any updates as we're almost to week 12. They responded "Its processing and should be out asap." -Week 13: Getting frustrated at this point. I said that tomorrow is March, asked for a date on shipping. Similar response with "I'll get you updated. It will take 24 to 48 hours." -Week 14: They blame lack of updates on 'my junk folder'. Although I'm receiving every single one of their promo emails. This shows deflection to the customer (not good Week 15: Literally responded with "she's shipped sir". Zero tracking information. The order doesn't show any sort of tracking online, etc. While I'm sure they're going to say it was the market conditions, they couldn't get blanks in fast enough, etc... It's a complete lie. If you look at reviews they have, this was happening in 2019, 2020, and now 2021. Loads of people having to get their credit card companies involved. BBB complaints galore. Reply to Pedro: Not one word on your site says preorder. My order confirmation shows nothing with preorder either. I guess we'll see if you shipped it when you said you did. These shippers track everything down to the second. Update: was told last night that he'd send tracking info "I'll add it to my calendar for the morning, I get it at 9am PST." It's nearly 11am and it's crickets from DWS. Another over-promise and under-deliver. read more

I purchased the gun and this was my first time completing all the DROS paperwork via a computer tablet. Much of the information was pre populated after scanning my CDL. It was a much easier process compared to the old paper form. They have an excellent selection of both handguns and long guns here. would highly recommend and they even had a nice and clean restroom. Absolutely can NOT recommend this company, they should rename themselves to Dynamic SCAMMING Solutions. Wish I had done my research before I purchased a slide from them, which I still have not received after 3 months, going on 4 months of waiting. I was told it would be 6-8 weeks for a P320 slide, cerakote and sight install. So I placed my order on August 31st. Messaged them after about 8 weeks on October 26th and they tell me they FORGOT about my order and they would expedite it. So I waited another 3 weeks to contact them and they said it would ship before black Friday. It did not ship before black Friday because they claimed they were still waiting on sights to come in. I asked for a refund and they said the only thing they can do is store credit. I told them ok if you are truly waiting on sights go ahead and send me my slide without the sights and refund me for just the sights. I was told by one of the employees through Instagram on Wednesday November 23rd that they were able to find some sights through a local dealer and they would ship everything out that Friday. Friday comes and they still have not shipped my slide out and they just ignore my messages. I have called several times and no one has EVER answered the phone. I have emailed and no one has EVER emailed me back. After posting this review they immediately messaged me telling me they were shipping it out the next day(Saturday) via USPS. I receive an email with a tracking number. A week goes by and the tracking has not updated. It says USPS was electronically notified by sender to expect a package from them. It has said this for a week now. At this point it seems I'm just getting the run around. My guess is they created a label just to make it seem like it was shipped out but at this point who even knows. I have told them I will be disputing the transaction with my bank if something isn't done asap. They tell me a slide was started incase the one they claim to have sent me was lost in the mail. I was told it should ship out this Thursday/Friday 12/08/2022. So as of right now it seems the slide they sent me has been conveniently lost and they are working on sending me a new one. What a nightmare this whole experience has been. I'm currently out $620 from this scam of a company. Monday 12/12 another slide was supposedly shipped out last Thursday/Friday. Received the tracking on 12/8 and again the tracking says USPS was electronically notified by sender to expect a package. Seems like we are doing this all over again. I went ahead and even checked the tracking number on the first slide they supposedly shipped out and got "lost" by USPS, and now the tracking is saying it's not a trackable number, yep extremely sketchy I'd say. They even admitted that USPS is not a good shipping company and yet what do they do they ship with USPS again. So now we are on to our 3rd slide. I tell them that it is obvious they can't produce a P320 slide so I wanted to know what their in stock options were for a Glock 19x. They give me 3 options and I decide on a cerakote and sight install option. I ask him if it will ship before the end of the week and he says "Definitely I'm aiming for sooner". So I message him on Thursday 12/15 asking how the slide was coming along, he responds "Good". I ask him if he has any idea when my slide is gonna ship out. He reads my message and I get no response. I'm just being ignored at this point. So I'm done with these games, it's been almost 4 months and this company has provided nothing for me. I have disputed the transaction with my bank. Also I'm not the only one that has had issues with this company. Just search through the other low star yelp reviews and search for their BBB complaints and low star Google reviews online and you will see. Also read the owners responses to these negative reviews. He never takes responsibility for anything and always tries to make it seem like it's the customers fault. Maybe he needs to spend a little less time playing with his truck and a little more time working on his customer service skills and getting customers orders out the door within the quoted time. If you want a slide or any sort of slide work done look elsewhere because this company is NOT the solution. read more

EDIT: spoke w/ Pedro and issue was rectified and the slide arrived and the work is fantastic. I think once they get more employees and can focus on CS and the work it'll be a 5 star experience. Will gladly change/update once rectified. Timeline: 9/7: quoted on IG 1-4 week lead for just cerakote. 9/10: slide arrived at their shop 9/19: took 9 days to find/process slide. 9/19: added magwell cerakote work once they found the package - wasn't option to add on site so did via email. 10/13: told slide/magwell is in assembly & cerakoted 10/21: told via site chat still in assembly 10/24: told by CEO its shipping this week only after having another IG user with much larger account reach out on my behalf. 10/28: end of the week and no shipping info. Now at end of week 7; beginning week 8 since the slide arrived and double the advertised lead. Review: Really hate doing this bc when I get firearm work/gunsmith stuff done I always go with small businesses but their false lead times and lack of honest communication is disappointing...I said honest bc they do reply but it's not accurate. More of just telling you what you'd like to hear. I reached out on IG asking for a lead time quote for cerakote only work on a slide I provide (9/7/22). Was told 1-4 weeks. Took over a week for them just to confirm it arrived (arrival 9/10/22). Took until 9/19/22 to confirm arrival of the slide. 10/13 all I can get is "slide is in assembly"; it's been in this stage for over 2 weeks. It's a Shadow Systems slide. Basically a Glock. I was finally emailed by the CEO (10/24) only after having a larger IG account reach out on my behalf. CEO said on the 24th it would "ship this week". Well that didn't happen like others have said. During this time I was able to: order a trigger from Atlas; ship said trigger to Vytal Mfg for anodizing; they completed the work & shipped back to me; I then shipped my frame to DSC Gunworks who installed the trigger and returned shipped in literally under 24hrs; and that arrived Tuesday (10/25). This is 3 separate companies completing work. I'll be reaching out to the BBB and possibly my bank. I'm pretty much screwed at this point because I can't just buy a replacement slide from the manufacturer so I'll have to build out another complete upper or wait until they decide to send mine back. I explained I'm active duty and leaving the country sooner than expected on a ship so I'd appreciate the slide being sent back before then. read more

Made an order on 11/25/21 the lead time at the time was 6-8 weeks. I didn't mind it being a little bit longer as I was moving. So, I'd be okay with an extra month or 2, honestly. But, they didn't provide any updates and it ended up taking 6 MONTHS. It seems they only care once you hit their reputation and only serve instagram influencers well. Check images on page 6 and 9 (Pictures keep moving after they uploaded duplicate photos, you can check the date from when I posted and when "new" photos were posted) for what I received and how they're "available 24/7", YOU DON'T NEED TO BE AVAILABLE 24/7 IF YOU UPDATE PEOPLE OR SEND OUT A GOOD PRODUCT FAST. I had to hound them to get updates for anything and only got semi-coherent responses through instagram since I had to e-mail them 3+ times just to get them to update the shipping address. EVEN IF YOU MAKE A PURCHASE AND HAVEN'T RECEIVED IT THEY WONT GIVE YOU A REFUND. They will constantly promote what they don't have. You'll find more reviews on Reddit saying the same. EDIT: Pedro called and claims the internals being exposed is common but, I don't see any photos of such on any of their images. Yet, when you go to jagerwerks (https://jagerwerks.com/leupold-deltapoint-pro-for-glock/) there are no exposed internals shown. They are not saying "this is what you might receive." I called it a blem but, they don't see it as such. Also, I received a pre-cut from Archon firearms ordered through tamfamgram on new years and received it within 2 months since, Pedro was saying they're fast at pre-cuts. THAT WAS CALLED A PRE-ORDER. I recently purchased two slides from this shop and was thoroughly impressed by both the product quality and the exceptional customer service. The first slide I bought was readily available in-store, and I was able to pick it up immediately. Unfortunately, I over-torqued a screw during installation, causing damage. When I returned the next day, the staff didn't hesitate to help. They took the slide back, spent a week repairing what could have been a costly mistake, and returned it to me in brand-new condition. For my second purchase on 8/7/24, the experience was just as seamless. I ordered online and picked it up the following day. I encountered a minor issue with my sight, but when I brought it back to the shop, they resolved it within minutes. Pedro and Philip were incredibly helpful, patiently answering all my questions about my purchase and other firearms I inquired about. Their professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond made the entire experience outstanding. My order (#12736) for a precut responder slide with an RMR optic cut was placed January 26th 2024. It is now early September and I have received no updates on my order despite sending multiple email requests and a couple of phone calls that were not returned. I'm a patient guy and I waited until around June before I started asking about my order in earnest, they tell you they're "checking on it" but nothing ever changed and no update was given. In July, I asked for a return of my OEM slide and the $240 I paid but was given a short and trite reply of "Sorry not possible." These people will give you the mushroom treatment of keeping you in the dark and feeding you sh@t. It's been over 8 months and my order status has not changed; I've got nothing to show for it. The few times they've communicated with me, they've refused to give me an ETA and they act like they don't care. I've come to the conclusion that they've basically taken my slide and my money and have no intention of giving me what I paid for. Save yourself some heartache and STAY AWAY. read more

I ordered 3 CZ MRK V Elite basepad back in June of 2023 and still have not received them. I have been in there on 2 separate occasions asking when they would be ready and was told they would be ready in a couple of months once they got the metal. Recently I chatting with them online and I ask for a refund but they said that all sales were final. I would not have a problem with the fact that all sales are final if I actually got what I paid for in a timely fashion. It has now been over 7 months with no product and a refusal for the refund. No communication on when they will be done. I personal will never use their services again. I also purchased an optic from them and got that installed and recolored my slide. They got that done in a timely manner but I had to go back several time due to the optic fall off. Overall my experience with DWS has been poor to say the least. Pedro does not listen to a word you write. He just back pedals and makes excuses. If you write a negative review expect him respond not professionally. read more

My order #9403 was placed almost 9 months ago on 11/16/2022. I received store credit from some barrels & pins that were cancelled after a few months because of coating lead time issues. With my store credit & cash I ordered another one of your awesome slides, the Pre Cut Crusader MRK VIII for my Sig P320. You just listed on IG & your website that you have that exact slide ready to ship. I ordered my slide with the Holosun 509 ACSS optic cut with Irons Forward of Optic & black cerakote. If my optic cut is what is holding up my slide I will accept the Pre Cut MRK VIII Crusader with the SRO / RMR optic cut if it will speed up the process or if you have anymore of them ready to ship that you advertised after the P320 was added to California's hand gun roster. The last auto update I received was on 5/17/2022 saying sandblasting had been completed Here we are on 10/17/2022... still no slide I've reached out several times via email, instagram, online chat and also by phone... was told it ships next week twice by DWS... still no slide *** UPDATE 10/17/2022 The owner PEDRO has reached out and apologized for the process and guaranteed me man to man he would get it shipped out that day. *** UPDATE 10/24/2022 So the slide finally shipped on Friday the 21st and I received it today on 10/24/2022 They sent it back without my Trijicon SRO, Night sights or internals! Love my slide from DWS! I applaud these guys for the patience they had with my impatience, I was very excited to get my slide, so I did message them a lot on their Instagram for updates! The owner I believe is Pedro and he was very responsive! Personally gave me a call when it was ready for pick up! I picked up my slide 2 weeks after my original pick up date(they were moving to a new and bigger location) but for a smaller local shop that is understandable. When I picked up my slide everyone on staff greeted me and was very kind! I didn't realize I needed a " Channel Liner" and Pedro was nice enough to give me one for free! They transferred everything over from my old slide to the new slide, and also installed my iron sights for free! Lubed up the rails and let me take pictures of it in their very cool office! DWS has great social media presence but they seem to be missing the customer service aspect of running a business. Ultimately poor customer service will effect their business. Great looking products, underestimated lead times, piss poor customer service. They bite off more than they can chew. If you cannot efficiently get the slides out within your estimated window maybe you should stop running sales. If you are doing so much business - why don't you hire a few secretaries at $15/hour to keep track of everything? Also, I believe they get Glock brand slides in from customers and then return them milled non-Glock branded slides. Avoid at all costs. 1 Star just because Yelp forces me to choose. Wish I could put zero stars. Use JagerWerks instead. Use your dremel instead. Looks like Yelp decided to flag this as a fake review yet kept all the positive ones. read more

In March, during the covid madness I brought my Glock 34 slide in to be cut for optics and to get a cerakote. While talking to Pedro, I looked at some of the work that they do with slide cuts and decided I would get that done as well. So I left my slide with Dynamic Weapons Solutions to get the work done on my slide. When it was finished Pedro called me and told me to come down to pick it up. I think I snuck over while on the clock lol. When I got there I was extremely happy with the work they did on it. I told Pedro I was interested in getting the Holosun 508T and he said he could order it for me so I did. I also got DWS suppressor sights also. When my optic came in they called me and I ran over immediately to have them put the sight and optic. I am very happy with the results so far and look forward to getting more work done with them in the future. read more

Amazing work and great customer service! I sent my slide in to have their reaper cut and asked if they would install some sights I had gotten. I knew they had high volumes of business and that it would take some time so I waited patiently. After some time I decided I would contact them on Instagram in which I immediately got a response to whom I could email to receive updates on my slide. I did so and got a quick response. Upon installation, my sights broke, which I knew was highly likely. I was prepared to buy a set of their suppressor height sights but I didn't have to because they went ahead and replaced them for free without question. That to me is a huge deal. Let's start by saying that the customer service is Amazing! I initially paid for an RDS to be mounted, and I changed my order to get the MRK III REAPER package and it was definitely worth the wait. They managed to facilitate my request and promptly provided advice on the overall aesthetics of the look I was going for. They informed me of the increased lead time. The only issue I had was a mix up of my order because I technically paid for two services at two different times on the same slide, and I didn't receive was shipping confirmation for the return of my slide which was not a problem because I knew they were working and cranking out orders all while they were prepping and moving to a new facility. I paid for optic cuts on March 4, 2025 with the promise that the work would be completed no later than 4 weeks (which was two weeks longer than advertised on the website.) As of today it has been 16 weeks. I have repeatedly contacted DWS through phone calls and emails, at first they were partially responsive but only kicking the can down the road, promising "next week" for three weeks. At this point they have completely ceased all communications with me, ignoring both my calls and emails to them. Don't make the same mistake I did, do not send your slides to this business unless you don't need them back. If it is too late for you, and you are in the same boat as me, please contact me and we can pursue legal action together against this business to retrieve our property. read more

I placed an order with Dynamic Weapon Solutions on March 24 to have my slide cut and optics installed. After waiting until July for any kind of status update, I spent another month and a half emailing with little response. On August 15, I finally heard back and was told my order was "in shipping." That was nearly 5 months after my original order date. Since then, I've asked for updates weekly, but there has been nothing but radio silence. I run a small online business myself and fully understand how busy things can get, but this level of poor customer service is unacceptable. If you're considering having work done here, I strongly suggest looking at other shops that respect their customers' time and investment. read more

Customer Service is the worst I've ever received. Sent an acro slide in for warranty in January, was told 1-2 weeks turn around, due to them having to recut the slide since they fucked up the first time. Sent in an Acro P1, Night Sights, and a complete slide, and they have had it since January. Keep making promises that they don't keep, when I call, they throw me on hold for 5-10 minutes everytime, I don't have that long to wait to be spoken to. They never keep their word, terrible company, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY. Need to stop focusing on social media, and pay more attention to their QC, and Customer Service.
