I've been to SPT for two different causes, I've created headings so you can skip ahead to whichever…read moresituation applies to you most. Readers should know that I've been in PT for sports related injuries as an athlete (runner, ballroom dancer, roller derby blocker), for surgery recovery, and for nerve pain due to improper posture at work, so a wide range of issues and solutions with over 5 different therapists over the last 20 years. GENERAL My appointments have always started *exactly* on time, which is a huge plus for me. The entire staff is incredibly respectful of their clients' time. Billing is clear, and when my insurance company decided to make things complicated, SPT's billing department was patient, helpful, and helped me understand what was going on so we could resolve the situation. The facilities are clean, well-lit, and well-furnished. Staff are friendly and upbeat, the general mood is one of optimism and healthy living, not a depressing clinical "rehab" vibe at all! LEARNING TO WALK AGAIN 8 years ago I had full destruction of my right knee: ACL, MCL, PCL, LCL completely gone, not torn, *gone*, cartilage and 1.5"square of femur gone, tibia fibia and femur bruised/bleeding, meniscus tear. Ambitious orthopedic surgeon decided to reconstruct it all using bone and muscle harvested from my hamstring and femur, so surgery and bedrest lasted a full year. Leg was fully atrophied, paralyzed (as part of the surgery), so just learning to get around without crutches took a year. After losing insurance I had to stop PT, an interval that lasted 7 years before I came to SPT. 8 years ago I was told that if I aggressively rehabbed I'd "be able to walk again without a limp" but that my dancing/roller derby/running days were over. SPT asked me what my goals were, and I told them dancing/running/hiking/jumping without pain so we went for it. In 12 visits, Nick and Megan had me walking properly (without looking at the ground) and had fixed my posture so my shoulders and neck were no longer in searing pain. I could go down stairs as easily as up, lunge, and kneel with no pain whatsoever. The trick, I think, is to diligently complete ALL your exercises when you're at home, and to take notes as to when pain/weakness appears. Each visit they'd tweak my exercises and assignments, carefully listening to my "notes" and adjusting accordingly. LEARNING TO RUN AGAIN 2 months after my first stint, I was so impressed with the change in my body and abilities, I decided I was going to run a long distance relay race. 6 weeks into training, I was feeling pain in my Achilles, plantars, and opposing hip (but not my knee!), so I immediately headed over to SPT for an evaluation. My new insurance didn't cover treatment, so when I discussed my financial constraints with SPT, my team came up with an aggressive treatment plan with visits only 1x/week. Nick, Megan, and Keith now have me running up to 5 miles a day without pain. This is reality, folks. You really CAN regain a functional, pain-free life. The therapy was/is HARD and at times painful, but the pain has been worth it to build up my stability and balance. Take it from me: if you communicate clearly, immediately, and often, your SPT team can bring you "from zero to hero." Will update my review after I run the race at the end of September.

My general experience at uperior has been excsllent. Courtesy and efficiency begin at the reception…read moredesk and continues through rhr entire 40 minute session. My hip/leg/balance issues were resolved with exercise and manipulation and I certainly feel stronger and better, The True Stretch Cage imparts a feeling of stability with its usage. Jean Peterson
