Was quite disappointed in Dynamic Images as we had to wait for months for our photos (Sid said it was due to the flooding which I can understand but he was still living in his unit and he was not on a main floor - in fact he is quite high up from the main road - 2nd or 3rd floor I believe) anyways....felt it was quite un-professional having his studio in his apartment that was quite un-tidy. After FINALLY receiving the photos after months of calls and emails I was completely blown away that he gave us the cd of the pictures that had not been touched up as we requested. The pics on the CD have his name and business splashed across them so there isn't any point to even getting the cd. The only picture we can print is a black and white photo out of all the ones we had taken. It took a year and 1/2 to get into him for the pictures in the first place. I guess the coupon was over-sold. He tried to tell us that he called us back whenever we left messages but that was un-true. After my fiance contacted him numerous times leaving his name and number when Sid finally did call him back he didn't even remember who we were? I found this ridiculous when its the same person calling and leaving messages all the time. While my fiance was phoning I was emailing and it wasn't until I posted to his facebook wall regarding his un-professionalism that he said the pics were ready and could be picked up. Perhaps there were too many other people calling him asking for their photos as well and wondering what the hold up was? I came across all of his negative reviews after we had met with him to do up our photos and to choose the ones we wanted. Absolutely appalling. I purchased a Groupon for Dynamic Images - the deal seemed too good to be true. Low and behold, it was. I phoned and emailed to book an appointment too many times that I lost count. When I finally received a phone call, it was abrupt, rude and possessed no humanistic quality. Although I was able to finally book a time, but he did not give me an address. I have since been phoning back for the address as my appointment is next week, and have not heard anything. Looks like I have had the same experience as a few other people! Sid may take good pictures but it is not worth dealing with someone so unorganized and unprofessional. He said our photos would take 10 weeks (which is ridiculous to begin with) and I didn't get them until 12 weeks after contacting him over and over with no response. When I finally did get ahold of him he blamed me and said I didnt get his message 3 weeks ago that my photos were in. Well if they were sitting on his desk for 3 weeks you would think he would follow up because I obviously didn't get that message! I had purchased two (2) Dealfind Vouchers for photography packages consisting of four (4) edited 8x10 pictures as well as all printable photos to be put on a disc. It has been almost a year...and the only thing I finally managed to get out of him was eighteen 18 unedited proofs sent to my yahoo account that have "Sid Photography" plastered all over them. I have a girlfriend who has bought an actual photography package from him as well and she's yet to get what she paid for. Sid Helischauer is a total scam artist and will not assist you with anything once he has your money. Unfortunately, he continues to suck people in and they continue to be scammed and no one does anything about it. He is always out of town or 'busy' and will not answer your emails to his website or his phone calls and if you're lucky enough to get a phone call back from him, he leaves nasty messages on your voice mail. read more

DYNAMIC IMAGES... THINK TWICE!! My wife and I decided to see Sid after purchasing a "deal" online. Our first impression of Sid and his "business" was not positive. We found his studio in complete disarray, he had dirty dishes and junk scattered throughout the apartment. Our session, despite being booked for 1 hour was at best 30 minutes long, Sid advising us that he had booked himself a Dr. appointment. After the session we attempted to contact Sid several times, on one occasion his phone was disconnected, and on several occasions his voicemail was full. When we did get a hold of Sid we were assured that our prints would arrive before Christmas however he did not have time for us as he was leaving for a vacation. This "run-around" has continued well into February (5 months later) now and we have yet to see any prints. We have made many more attempts to contact Sid through phone, and email, all of which he has ignored completely. PLEASE, IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING USING DYNAMIC IMAGES TO CAPTURE YOUR SPECIAL DAY... We purchased a photo deal with Dynamic Images. Booking the photo shoot was easy, the photo shoot went well, and we went in to choose photos. That all went fine. Then things slid. Timelines weren't met, phone calls and emails were not returned and when they were, there were excuses. Finally we got our photos and they looked good. Then I asked about the digital copies and he said he'd email them but he couldn't find our info. Finally after repeated emails he sent us them in batches, but they were just the proofs. Part of the reason I bought the package was to get the full images so that I could use them later. Seriously not impressed with his service. read more

Hello I just want to inform you of my terrible experience with Dynamic Images I purchased a groupon deal in January when my baby was 1.5 months old. We got in right away the photographer Sid took 20 minutes for a 1 hour session. We said the deal was an hour he said yes but we've got what we needed and I have other clients coming in. So on are way we went. The photographer got us back a few days later to select and view our photos which was great then he made us feel guilty that we we're only ordering so "few" prints and that we simply came to him because of the groupon deal. (The prints we ordered still cost us over $300) Anyway that was done, he told us 10 weeks our pictures will be ready, which is an insane amount of time to develop photos, I should know I used to work for a professional photographer in my teens doing editing and photoshopping. Anyway 10 weeks past we hadn't heard from him, so we called he said he was 2 weeks behind so we called back 2 weeks later. Then gave us more excuses like he had surgery every week we we're calling him. Now my baby is 6 months old we called him yet again last week demanded our money for the prints back and to just honour the groupon deal or else we we're involving media, and police well wouldn't you believe it our photos just happened to be ready. We ended up reading bad reviews on him prior to telling him that we would take drastic actions and customers have NEVER gotten their photos back from him, which just sickens me, how can someone take peoples happy life moments and crush them like he does! I purchased a photo deal online with Dynamic Images. I got them for engagement photos and he booked us in so quickly a 1 hour package done is 20 mins and then so quickly he had our photos reviewed within one week. I was suppose to get 4 pictures printed with my package. I have yet to get the pictures back. During the review of the photos he was complaining about life and making us feel bad for him. ( DIDN'T FEEL BAD AT ALL)His computer kept over heating and turning off. I knew about him never giving the photos back so i was very careful not to pay extra to photos I probably wouldn't get. You could tell he was pissed we didn't buy a ton of photos from him. I know he didn't just want us to take the free photos and not buying anything but when a bunch of reviews say he is a scam maybe he would realize he hurt his business on his own. I am so disappointed as its been over a year soon and he never even called about our photos. I wonder what he does with all of our information and photos. What a creepy thought. Even better he told me my wedding photographer is going to be horrible and scared me for months about it. He was so unprofessional about it. and for the record my wedding photos are 500 % better than any of his wedding photos on his website. He is rude, unprofessional, always busy, never answers the phone and plus this service is over priced....the photos were so badly photoshopped I'm ashamed to show them off. Sid always does the most amazing job. He always makes me look fantastic. Anyone who complains about Dynamic Images has obviously never used a professional photographer. His attention to detail is beyond impressive. He always manages to catch the mood and get the shot that I'm looking for. If you're tire-kicking and looking for photo booth quality, go somewhere else. I too bought a coupon from livingdeal, the pictures were fantastic, however they were taken in Oct 2012, I paid over $600 for family pictures and baby pictures, have yet to receive them. I have e-mailed, left countless phone messages and never heard back. My husband and I hired Sid to do our wedding. He showed up on our wedding day and took some fabulous photos. Unfortunately things went downhill from there. It took us over a year to get our wedding package. When we called to pester Sid about getting our photos his voice mail was full, or he was out of town, etc. Once after calling him repeatedly, he wrote us a nasty e-mail that said basically "stop calling me! If I don't answer the phone it's because I am with a client!!!". I tried giving this guy the benefit of the doubt telling people that he is a perfectionist and that is why the photos are taking so long. My husband thinks he is on crack. Bought a Groupon for a photo session & the thing that made me choose him was the CD of all proofs, apparently a $300 value. How can a CD with low res pictures with his name written across them all be worth $300?!?!? More like worth $0! He was pretty good during the photo shoot, though my 3 year old barely smiled. He was fast at scheduling the appointment & the viewing & having us pay. Then told us it would take about 10 weeks to get our photos (we only ordered 1 extra as it cost $70!). Although Sid may have some talent in photography he is the worst businessman I have ever dealt with in my entire life. We had our photos done and he promised they would be back before 10 weeks. So I called and left messages at 11 weeks.... 12 weeks.... 12.5 weeks..... He did not return my calls. I finally called him again at 13 weeks and he promised the photos would be in by Monday and assured he would call me. Monday passed, as did the next Monday.... I left 2 more voicemails. He finally called me back to argue that he didn't say Monday (which I assure you, he did) He promised they would be in the next week.... No calls. Weeks went by and increasingly angry voicemails telling him to call whoever is printing them and also demanding my money back(which I never got even a portion back). Photos eventually came in and we picked them up. Opened it when we got home and it was MISSING 2 photos. Called him AGAIN. He said he would have those printed by Monday, which of course passed..... Photos are finally ready. HORRIBLE experience. Do NOT waste your money. Now I look at my family photos with his memory. read more
