Some rooms, don't have equipment and looks like they planning to close. They should demolish this building and build a new one. I was told that the TV screen will be fixed soon & it has not been in 4 months. It is 0.3 miles from home & that part is good. If I did not need Elliptic machine I would have not signed up. The manager said they don't accept free vouchers for disabled persons. Have not done any classes due to minimal choices of classes. The yoga room looks dirty and old. No place for a wall, needed for certain type of exercise. Have not tried aerobic classes. They are closed Saturday and Sunday; which is bad for working people. The manager is rude and i had to pay extra to sign up. There are so many stairs, and turns, up and down and the carpet looks like crap. I will be looking for something better. The only advantage is the distance. That is it.

I have been a member of National Fitness Center for 5 years and enjoy many aspects of the facility,…read morebut there are several areas where I believe the gym needs major improvement. The bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms are not cleaned consistently, and the overall cleanliness can vary considerably from one visit to the next. Paper towel dispensers are also frequently empty, which is frustrating and easily preventable with more consistent monitoring. The TV bank in the treadmill and elliptical area is another concern. Several TV's have been out of service for months and there doesn't appear to be a way to connect to the TV's or select a channel individually while using the treadmill or elliptical. Finally, new spin bikes arrived about a month ago, but they still haven't been put into service because the facility is waiting for parts to complete the installation in the spinning room. It would be nice to see a faster turnaround on getting new equipment available for members.

I am a senior that likes working out during the morning. I feel very limited class options for seniors. The class called "dance" is nothing but hip hop jerking moves, which in my opinion is annoying. The Zumba class is again all kinds of quick movements with no consistency. It's never the same instructor and they all like make up playlist as they go through the class. I would like to see low impact STEP classes or just low impact aerobics with some repetition movements, so I'm not trying to figure out what I'm suppose to be doing with my arms and legs and then it suddenly changes. The all women's workout room is a joke. The equipment looks to be from the 90's. How degrading to us!!

It seems to constantly be dirty, the equipment is ALWAYS breaking with "out of order" signs on them, the design and positioning of the equipment makes no sense (one leg extension machine is nowhere near the other one?!?!), and there's no employee involvement with regard to homeless people using the locker rooms to actually wash their clothes in the showers! I personally don't tan here because everyone I talk to mentions the status of the beds and the thought makes me cringe...not to mention I'm always hearing about bulbs being out with no urgency to actually replace them. I'd love to reach out to the franchise owner personally but that seems impossible to do. I've asked for a response on my comments directly through the app but to no avail. I'd gladly pay more each month for updated equipment arranged by muscle group, clean floors and bathrooms, filled paper towel dispensers, and more attentive staff.
