I really, really wanted to give Dyesa a chance! I've been following her since 2021 on Instagram and loved her work. I was waiting for the right time and an opportunity came up where she offered to be a model! It felt so right! We talk on June 16 to schedule for June 25th. I paid a deposit and then the day before they texted me to reschedule, no problem. That day came for July 2nd when I showed up the doors were locked and when I notifed them, they had completely missed my appointment. I couldn't complain because it was a "modeling opportunity" but I feel like because she thinks it is "free" that it dismisses my time and effort for being there as asked to respect her work and time. this was my first time microblading my brows and let me tell you i was scared but the results were AMAZING. I've never been complimented so much on my brows and I'm writing this review after only 4 days since the procedure. I arrived a little late but dyesa and her assistant Gloria were so nice and understanding. When I arrived dyesa was still with one client & another client was waiting in the waiting room. Gloria got me started with the numbing, i had it on for about 45 mins. Within those 45 mins, Dyesa finished her first client and her second client (she was a quick touch up) she often came out to let me know that she would be with me shortly and I honestly did not mind waiting even a few mins extra bc i was letting the numbing cream settle in. She also came out to let me know we would get started in about 5 mins and that i should use the bathroom if needed. Her space was nice and clean. At first i was a little shy to talk but we did have a good conversation here and there. She was sweet and got right to business. I loved how she kept asking me to check the shaping before actually doing anything. she readjusted many times to ensure i got the BEST possible shape and that i approved it. I showed her reference photos from previous clients and explained a little more on the look i wanted to achieve, she was attentive and definitely listened .. the proof is in the results and let me tell u they were amazing .... she was SOOO worth the 2 hour drive. she was even super happy with the results herself I have lash extensions and she brushed them out for me after the procedure bc she felt as if she ruined them a little, she made them fluffy again and apologized for any discomfort. She did not have to do that .. but thank you! - she also brushed them so I wouldn't look rusty in the photos and videos :) THANK YOU FOR THAT I don't understand the bad reviews. Everyone is different and healing process is different for everyone, especially if you don't follow the instructions for post care. Gloria was sweet when explaining the post care process, she made sure i understood and that i didn't leave with any questions. Please do yourself a favor & don't believe everything you see on Instagram. My regret is that I didn't schedule a consultation with her. I blindly trusted the artist to do a better job, based of what was shown on instagram. I'm posting my experience so others can be made aware. If this can help someone then it was worth it.. If you follow her on Instagram she speaks of kindness and all this... but in person she doesn't even greet you until you're getting the procedure done. During my appointment it seemed like she was annoyed with her assistant as well with her maid/nanny that showed up.. It made me feel bad for both parties.. Her interaction with me felt forced and fake like when someone tries to be nice but you can sense it's not genuine. On her Instagram first sessions with her clients look so good and transformed for the better. However that was not my case.. Dyesa tried saying she needed a second session but as you can see my brows were bad from the very first session. Nothing like the first sessions shown on her Instagram. I mentioned I was growing out my eyebrows & at some point she tried using that against me... Instead of taking accountability? We as women know that during that process our hairs are growing all over the place? As the professional she should've known this and still been able to perform. May I mention she was late for our two week appointment by 40 something minutes.. The day the procedure took place she also had her assistant send someone away because she wasn't penciled in..? It's ironic to me that she's so strict on her policy and yet she can't reciprocate the same courtesy to her clients.. If you narrow down the reviews by 1 & 2 stars & read the non recommended reviews you'll see this part of her character. I'm including the screen shots of our conversations. sadly I will have to be paying for laser removal at this point. It took me a while to decide to write a review but after reading on of the bad ones and seeing how she had a similar complaint than mine I wanted to just say that it is so true what she said. Don't belive everything you see on instagram! I found dyesa because an influencer I follow got her brows done with her and after looking at her work on her instagram I really wanted to try her. I had work done previously with another artist and the only reason I didn't go back was because she only did ombré powder brows and I wanted something more natural looking. I messaged her number and didn't get a response till I messaged them again we did an over txt consultation and she approved to do her work over the work I already had. Now i understand that no results are 100 percent guaranteed but if that was the case she could have explained this before I made an appointment. I went to my initial appointment not much of an interaction didn't even greet me just told me to lay down she started doing the work which was fine I thought maybe she doesn't speak much. I left satisfied with how my brows liked and she did mention that when I came back for a touch up I could let her know what I wanted fixed but when my brows heeled they looked exactly the same as before I went to her and although I understand it could have taken a few sessions to get what I wanted I would at least expect my brows to have improved. Honestly I could have told her that I wasn't satisfied the first time but due to the first interaction and how her assistant is usually the one to respond for her I was kind of uncomfortable to txt and let them know so I went to my " touch up " appointment and there I let her know that I was not happy with the color and that it still looked grey so she did a color correction and said to come back a third time but by the time my brows healed it just felt like there was no difference at all so I canceled my 3rd appointment and asked for a refund but she told me she doesn't give refunds and she didn't guarantee her work. I didn't push it because I hate conflict and I felt bad but honestly for what she charged and how much I sent ft my brows to look the same she should guarantee something. It just doesn't seem fair to drive so far and spend so much to in the end not be satisfied. Don't believe what you see on her instagram! Came in to get my eyebrows micro bladed showed up on time and still had to wait about an hour. My session lasted about 20 mins. Did not even show me the color she was going to use on my eyebrows. I told her a few times I wanted my eyebrows to look very clean/natural and I even showed her a few of her own videos/clients as examples and her reply was "I have to see which way your hair grows" ??? Anyways she ended up doing micro n shading which of course it's $100 more and she went downtown with the shading no where close to natural clean hair like strokes looking eyebrows and they even looked red when she was done! After a few weeks the color started to fade looking gray & very low quality and the so called hair like strokes completely gone. I was so p****d that I wanted to dispute the charges and take her to small claims court. What a sloppy sh***y job. Most of her high reviews are from her students & models. Be really careful with this business and read her ridiculous contract and cancellation fees before you commit. What a hack job very poorly and sloppy. No one and I mean no one told me that my eyebrows looked good or natural. Everybody was shocked when I told them I paid $800. Oh then she charges an additional $200 for the touch up. BE AWARE! I am still a bit disappointed with this place and is why 3 months later that I am posting this and feel that I need to be honest. I had come into her salon with high expectations given the pictures I viewed on her instagram. I was so excited that the work she did was exactly what I was looking for. However with my eye brows this was not the case. Upon entering the salon exactly on time with my appointment I had to wait about 20 min because she was with another client. This was a little annoying but I let it pass and stuck around because I was that excited for bomb brows. When it was my turn to come up we did our consultation. I showed her a pic of another clients eye brows she did and let her know the color I wanted, which was dark. Coming into the salon my brows were as dark as I wanted them, and because of the make up I use. She had seen them and wiped off the make up before doing my brows. She showed me the color she was going to use and it looked identical to my make up so I agreed. The pain wasn't too bad u til the last 20 min. But I kept through it thinking it would be worth it. Once she was done she had told me underneath my eye brows were super red, therefore she was not going to take a pic of the outcome. When she showed me my brows with the hand held mirror I was in shock, the color was not dark at all to my likening. Yes I do have light eye brows but I didn't think that would effect the process. I let her know that I had pictured them being a whole lot darker. She explained to me that with my skin pigment it would have turned grey. This did not make sense to me since the other clients she had done dark with were as light as me ... yes their natural hair was darker, but the skin ? Regardless ok maybe my skin couldn't take the pigment. She recommended I come back to do the touch up and it would look fuller. She was h able to get me in for another 3 months. After thinking about it I decided not to even risk it. I was already upset with the out come. I felt naked and like I had no brows during the whole healing process. I was so ashamed. I didn't want to be disappointed again so I cancelled the appointment. 3 months later to the day I would have had them touched up, the work she did has gone away completely. I'm upset with her because she should have told me from the beginning that she couldn't do my brows as dark as I wanted them. I would have not went through because the purpose was to have them done dark as I like. She knew I wasn't happy and still charged me the full $500 and I left feeling scammed. An honest person that knew you weren't happy would not do this. And I'm upset with myself I didn't fight the price since I did not get the result I wanted. I took Dyesas 4days beginners course last year in December. I had already had previously taken a course somewhere else and been working as a permanent makeup artist for about a year but I still felt very lost and unsure of my self. That ALL changed after taking Dyesas training, she is an IMPECCABLE PMU trainer (and artist). When it came time to the live models I was so excited, I felt prepared and secure because Dyesa was there the entire time coaching me through the process and giving me feedback in the moment. When the course ended I was a little sad because it felt like I had been hanging out with family for 4days and it was over now. BUUTTTT it wasn't over Dyesa continued to support me and believe in me, she offered me a space in her studio and I now work at her studio! Till this day I still receive continuous support from her and Mo! I'm not just a tenet, they've made me feel like a friend, and show me every time I'm there how much they believe in me. Can I just say.. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE DYESA! I found her IG page and i just loved how natural are her clients brows looked! She responded quickly and was able to get me in right away! Just in time for the holidays! First.. walking in she makes you feel so comfortable! First step is numbing cream .. then we talk about shape and how you want your brows to look. Next comes brow mapping until you're happy with the results.. it was really quick and she definitely knew what she was doing! Then the good stuff! Lol I really can't make a comment on whether or not it hurts because everybody's pain tolerance is different For me it felt like scratching... or like plucking your eyebrows. Personally it hurt a little bit more closer to the tail. When you put on pigment it burns a little but nothing worth crying over! lol Her prices are pretty fair! Had a bad experience here i asked her to fix one of my brows to my liking and denied me to said they were fine and wouldn't listen to me. I really don't understand why i'm the client i am the one that's paying. Anyway i ended up going to another place where they did also notice my eyebrows were uneven and fixed it up for me. However i am sure lots of other people have had a good experience i however did not. read more
