Dvorak Hotel and Restaurant are located in the building of a former brewery. It has been carefully restored to a modern standard. For the city of Tabor it is a premium venue. The lunch would cost approximately $25 per person at least. The food was quite nice. The mushroom soup and zander we had were not bad at all. However, the service - whilst pleasant - was relatively slow. Especially considering that only two tables were taken. Table set up was kitchy with a rose-flower table cloth. And the ventilation did not work very well. Even though the venue is a non-smoking one, we could smell the smoke coming through the ventilation. We loved the fact that we could easily park on the yard in front of the restaurant while parking anywhere in the city center was packed. So on the balance we quite liked the lunch we had there, and we might be back, although this wouldn't be our first choice. read more
