I've been to this chain years ago when they had a sit down location in Fullerton. I loved their food. Since I saw they opened one up closer to home, I decided to stop by. Noticed it was an express version. Not a problem right cause express usually means faster? Wrong! I stopped by around 6pm, no customers. Gave me a bad feeling but ignored it and reminisced on my old experience with this chain. Ordered the Chicken shawarma hummus, Large plate of chicken, Shawarma, sides spicy hummus and potato salad. Husband ordered a chicken wrap. The employee told us the order would be ready in 10 minutes. That was wrong. It took over 20 minutes before I order was ready. Our total came out to be about $50. We got home and as soon as my husband opened his wrap. He noticed it was wrapped in the tortilla. How in the world are you going to call yourself a Mediterranean place and wrap your food in a tortilla? Not only was the wrap disgusting it was soggy, and the chicken was dry. The large plate of chicken Shawarma did not look like a large. It looked like a regular size plate. The potato salad was disgusting and watery, and had no flavor to it. You can tell it was sitting there for a while. The chicken Shawarma once again was dry and the only saving grace out of everything was the hummus. The hummus was fairly good, but I've had better. Don't waste your time coming here and just go to Zankou instead. Lastly, since Yelp wants me to add with the ambience is like inside it's not a comfortable place to sit so we decided to take our food home. (ordered To Go) Food is bland. Americanized and lacking seasoning. I had to add olive oil and spices at home. The garlic sauce was sharp and bitter. The chicken didn't have any char on it, and absolutely no spices, boring. The hummus was fine, didn't have any oil as advertised on it. The rice was a Total bummer - dry, flavorless, and had little noddles, so not gluten free. The torshi was not fresh. The hot sauce was the only delicious thing, so I smothered my food with it. The rice was definitely the best part, it was buttery and well seasoned! Chicken was a little dry and tasted okay. Wasn't anything special, I think it could use more seasonings. The cucumber yogurt salad was good but also nothing crazy. I didn't really like the potato salad because it was very citrusy and the main flavor you taste is cilantro. It was my first time trying a potato said like that and it wasn't for me, but if you love cilantro then you'll probably like the potato salad. The flavor was just way too strong for me. I will say that their garlic sauce was definitely refreshing and good on the chicken! It's like whipped garlic, super good on the chicken. I now know why this place has 5 stars! We drove by and thought we'd give it a try and blindly went in. Immediately we were assisted with the menu and how to order. 2 big entrees was around 38$ which is very reasonably priced considering the large portion sizes. The food was freshly made once ordered and took around 10 minutes. All of the food was incredibly authentic, my husband was most impressed with the rice and lemony potato salad. I loved the pickled vegetables and preparation of the salmon. We will be coming back and trying more. read more

Food is amazing and the chefs/cooks are always kind and friendly. Not really my type of place to dine, but carry out is on point. Beef Shawarma & Grape Leaves are so good here! Once grub hub (I believe was delivery service) left my food at the front of my complex outside the gate and I was not comfortable eating the food after the driver flipped out and left.......and when I called the restaurant they were very understanding. The owner actually called me back and they had one of their employed meet me at the front of my complex with a fresh order. 10 Stars from me!!! read more

I'm so obsessed with this place. We order from here regularly, I'd say once a week. The food is so tasty and very reasonably priced for the quality. Everything is delicious but my favorite thing is the chicken shawarma. The rice is so good too, and I would take a bath in the garlic sauce if I could. My friend brought me here for my first time to eat at D'vines and let me say that the food portions quality and service was more than what I expected. As I walked you can smell the deliciousness in the air. My friend order for us and we got the mixed box with beef and chicken. It came with what u could say were long wraps with this sauce that just gave it that perfection in every single bite. The meat was so juicy and so flavorful I wanted to try a bit of everything. We ordered falafels, which are my favorite. So crispy on the outside and yummy on the inside. I don't live anywhere near one but I most certainly would take a drive out to OC just to revisit this place and next time check out their lamb. Today, I was craving some Mediterranean food and got on Yelp to find a place near my home. Usually, I have to go all the way to Belmont Shore when the hankering hits, but it's too far to travel on a regular basis. Thanks to all the Yelpers who gave this excellent restaurant a shout out because it is definitely deserved. The gentleman who greeted me and made my meal was super friendly. Since it was my first time, he gave me free samples which were delicious. The atmosphere is bright, open, airy and clean. I ordered the falafel plate to go. When I got home, I couldn't wait to dive in. The falafel is delicious and soft inside with a crispy exterior, not like the ones at other places which can be hard and dry. It's clearly homemade and scrumptious. The baba gannoush is very flavorful with a hint of smokiness and char from the eggplant which I found to be addicting. The hummus is smooth as silk and has a nice nutty flavor that is sublime. The pita bread that came with the meal is the perfect thickness and chew, and has a delicious homemade flavor that goes perfectly with everything. Lastly, the baklava is also homemade and is definitely the perfect finish to such a delicious meal. They make theirs with walnuts and pistachios which makes it extra special. It is clear that a lot of love and detail is put into everything they make. I'm excited to go back and try all of their other items as I'm certain they will be equally delicious. read more

We drove a while to get to this restaurant based on the good reviews and it was truly just average. The kebabs lacked flavor, small portions and my kids' hamburgers just fell apart into small crumbles. Honestly I'm not sure who is writing all these positive reviews. Was not my experience at all. It's also small restaurant and when they grill, the whole place gets filled with smoke and the smell sticks to your clothing. It was prepared just in time for my scheduled pickup (it was freshly made and steaming hot)! Younis helped me load everything in the car and let me know that delivery services are also available. I ordered the chicken shawarma, hummus, Mediterranean salad, pita, and rice catering combo that was absolutely delicious & was a very generous portion for 10-12. We even had some leftovers! Came here to eat while waiting for my car to be serviced across the street. I ordered the beef Shawarma. It came with 2 sides, rice, and some pickled veggies. Great service and the food was delicious and big portions.. I was able to make 2 other lunches with the leftovers. I ordered a large Kefta with hummus and potato salad to go. (Please don't judge me on the potato salad, sometimes you let your emotions runs your choices). When I picked up the box, I was pleasantly surprised how heavy the box was. I opened the box and I had lots of potato salad, hummus, rice pilaf, 2 kefta and 2 warm pitas. It was ALLLLLL good.
