Penne Rouge Gorgonzola

Shrimp and grits to die for!! The penne was a little mediocre but the crab-cakes were delicious

If you're looking for a classic American diner serving comfort food menu, then this is the place to go. Be sure to come early on the weekends.

The restaurant remodel made the place look and feel more spacious and comfortable. You can't go wrong with the classics here. The burgers, BLT-A and Buffalo wings were all amazing. Top notch quality juicy beef on a hearty pub bun with all the fixings. Devoured our wings and dinner. Big thick cuts of bacon in the BLT with avocado with your choice of regular fries, sweet potato fries or both for a buck 50 more. The bar is pretty tamed mostly locals it didn't have a tavern feel. Still feel like a family establishment. They ran out of sandwich bread and offered to sub with focaccia bread and the owner made sure it tasted good. My hubby thought it was excellent. We appreciate the excellent service from the waitress and owner/kitchen supervisor. Can't wait to return for the same thing and their ham breakfast!

Light eater breakfast

I've lived in the valley for 13 years and this was our first time here, I've been missing out! Very cute little restaurant. Breakfast at 9am on a Saturday and we were sat immediately, there was only about 3 tables open. I had the Light breakfast, bacon is delicious and cooked perfectly with crunch and softness, 2 eggs, 1 slice sourdough bread and potatoes, serving size was perfect. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive. Always refilling our coffee. Don't miss this little gem!

Yum! Eggs benne & corned beef hash (with real corned beef!) We also had bloody Marys. Not as worth it but not bad. Will go back.

It never feels forced, just genuinely good energy. The flatbreads are unreal (from Milan), and the wine selection is really well thought out. She's great at helping you pick something you'll like and has definitely helped me branch out and try new wines I wouldn't normally order. The vibe is super chill with great music. It works just as well for a date as it does for getting some work done or just relaxing with a glass of wine. Highly recommend.

They do have a good wine list, but the pricing is HIGH. Think $25-$45 PER GLASS. Some of the wines this made sense for, but they really should consider adding a wine or two below $25 per glass. I have my WSET 2 and know a decent amount about wines so could understand why some of them were priced like this, but the whole menu being this high was strange. $32 for a glass of pinot noir didn't sit right with me. We asked to do flights so we could try a few things, but they said they were only doing glass pours. We asked for a rec for an acidic, fruity red and felt like the gal just told us the most expensive non-tannic red on the menu. Fine. For $32 a glass, I would not order what I got again. We headed to a restaurant after and got $14 glass pours that we preferred. This is a great place to go to impress someone with the chic vibes, but good wine can be found elsewhere at a fraction of the price. I do see the appeal though. It was also pretty loud when we went, so we chose to finish our conversation elsewhere.

I used to live within a stones throw away and was excited to discover a great local wine bar. The former owners, Tina and Joe, created the kind of spot where you can enjoy a fantastic glass of wine and relax. Josh took over, increased the food menu and added a few different touches. There is now a privacy shield on the window if you sit in a lower seat so that car headlights don't shine in your face. There are games too if you are here with a friend or few friends. As a solo person I can sit and enjoy a wine and not be bothered. Which is lovely when I want to sit, read, write and or take notes for my Yelp reviews, lol. Josh always has excellent suggestions. I trust his taste implicitly. If I don't know what I want, I tell him what I like, and he will make a great suggestion. Barrels is a perfect spot to do it! It is also a great spot to pregame if you have plans in the city. Within walking distance to the park and ride.Do it! Drink good wine and live your best life. Support local businesses. From the moment Josh greets you, you know you're in good hands. He has a gift for recommending the right glass whether you want something bold, silky, funky, or a little adventurous. And then there's the staff--yes, Jim, I absolutely mean you. Quirky, hilarious, and genuinely passionate about wine, the Barrels crew turns a simple night out into something special every single time. The wine list is curated with care, the flights are always fun, and the small bites pair perfectly without trying too hard. Now like many in the Valley, I was surprised the city added yet another pizza shop, but this is no…read moreordinary pizza. This is elevated 'Za! I've had my share of the local offerings and grew weary of the same ole options year after year. Zeeks is exciting for a new delivery option as the Valley is SOOO limited in that aspect. Zeeks did a lovely job renovating the old bank building. I've eaten at the Woodinville location a couple times and *thought* I was familiar with several of the pizzas (tomato base). So we popped into the Duvall location to see what it was all about. At this time (winter), it's more of a pick-up location with a small area to sit along a bar for having a slice. We tried a couple slices. I apologize for not taking pics but I didn't know what was about to transpire... We ordered the classic pepperoni and the Quentin Florentino. I have not been able to get those slices out of my mind since!!! The pep had a beautiful cheesy goodness. I thought I would only eat half but couldn't stop myself! The Quentin's crust had a lovely crispness (maybe from being rewarmed or maybe the olive oil base?) and the flavors of the artichoke, sundried tomatoes, spinach and goat cheese married into a delight for the palate. I seriously have been craving this pizza for a couple months now. I have been looking for a yummy spinach and goat cheese pizza for well over a decade in the US, after having pizzas in Europe. And boy howdy, I think this one is tops! Don't miss out on joining their rewards program and getting deals sent to your inbox. This is artisanal pizza and I hope the Valley folk appreciate the goodness that has been bestowed upon them in this little corner shop on Main. All hail, Zeeks!

Finding a table for three on Valentine's Day without a reservation usually ends in heartbreak, but…read morewe lucked out here! Despite it being a busy holiday evening, we were seated immediately. The vibe was lively but comfortable, with most tables and the bar filled. Since we visited in February, we leaned heavily into their specials menu. We skipped the small plates and went straight for the mains: the Greek Salad with Steak, the Steak and Gorgonzola Flatbread, and the Vine Burger. Every dish was a hit, though my wife found the red wine vinaigrette on the salad to be just "okay" rather than great. For drinks, we stuck to the mocktails. We tried all three on the menu, and the Blueberry Mule (ginger beer based) was the undisputed winner. We'll have to come back for the cocktails another time since they looked promising! We capped the night with the Apple Blossom pastry with vanilla ice cream--it is a total "must-try." Overall, the service was courteous, the ambiance was spot-on, and parking was a breeze. We'll definitely be back!

The soup of the day was fantastic. A sausage, potato and kale soup. Warm, comforting and delicious! The salad was somewhat disappointing. I ordered the quinoa kale salad, with a citrus vinaigrette. There was a little quinoa and kale on top of a large amount of romaine. Not what I expected. It was also served stuffed into a small, tall sided bowl with the dressing on the side. How exactly are you supposed to dress it and eat it? My friend had the burger and fries. The burger was half the size of the bun. She literally removed 50% of the bun. It was also extremely well done. The fries were cold. They don't have decaf coffee, but I was able to order mint tea. It was brought in a cup that smelled like old coffee. The table had been cleared and I had no napkin and he didn't bring one with the tea. There was a slice of lemon I didn't want and I had no place to put it. There is potential here, I hope they pay more attention to providing a quality experience and food.
