My friend and I went in for the first time and when we ordered the employees were so cool. We told the guy who served us that it was our first time there and they gave us free drink Punch cards and filled them almost all the way with stamps. Really smart marketing. The drinks were so good. We both got the carmellizer so good. Be aware that the large is huge and I could definitely feel the caffeine. I really want to try the stuff on the "secret"(not so secret) menu. All dutch bros' drinks taste great. There are a lot of choices in drinks, flavors, etc. But the thing that makes this location special is the people! I've never had a negative experience at any dutch bros but I actively look forward to talking to the people at this location because they always brighten my day! Everyone is so kind and friendly - I've had the people there cheer me on as I get my pre interview coffee, and then wish me luck as I grab coffee after loading my car to move for the job I got. This is by far the best Dutch bros! They are so friendly and kind and will always ask how your day is, how are you etc. I come here about 2-3 times a week and I love it and I've never had a bad experience here EVER! And that's impressive because I do come a lot! They have so many drink choices and have super easy accommodations, I would definitely give them 5 stars all around! It does get busy but that's a good thing because obviously other people like the place too, however it's never been a really long wait no matter how busy it is. read more

I don't like giving bad reviews but when you go to the same place a lot and it's the same result every time you go there it's hard not to. I love Dutch Bro's the employees are always so nice and enthusiastic. I used to love thy the Dutch bros on Madison where the lines were double the size of the one in Manzanita. I would get through the line in less than 10 mins any time of the day. The one on Manzanita the employees are very friendly but when I leave to go to work 40 mins before I'm supposed to be there And are still 20 mins late it's enough said. It takes me 15 mins to get to work on a good day. The last few times I have gone in the morning has been ridiculous wait times. Today (mind you it's a school day and Valentines) I waited for over 40 mins to get coffee. I also paid whole ordering within 10 mins of that. I'm not sure what the deal is or why it takes so long they have plenty of employees but no where else have I ever wait this long for coffee. It's like this every time I go and it bothers me cause I can no longer go there because of this. I only have 3 stars cause they do have great employees but the wait time is way to long. read more

This is the best Dutch bros I've visited! Each time I come thru their line, I am never there more than 10 mins or so, which is pretty great considering all of the other 20+ minute waits at every other location! I'm there all too often and all the employees are great. I wanna give Kyuss a shout out for being so friendly and always giving amazing service as well. He makes this location the only one I'm willing to go to anymore! So thank you DB, find more Kyuss' & put them at all your locations. Overall, I recommend this location to everyone. I don't normally go to this location, but when I'm in Carmichael this is the nearest one I go to. I've never had problems before here, or at any Dutch Bros before, but this time really ruins this location for me. The guy who took our orders was great actually, really nice guy and had no problem splitting us up on three different tabs. Great. We got two large hot chocolates, one with plain milk one with almond milk. A .50 cent difference. Our last drink was a small hot chocolate with almond milk. We get to the front window to pay, but we had to change the small one. Just the small one. We never asked or implied the other two would be changed. I understand changing drinks at the last minute can be difficult, but the girl at the front was totally cool with it and told us no worries she'd do it. However, after that she kept addressing the small as the almond milk one, which confused us so we just asked to clarify that the other large hot chocolate was still almond milk too. That's where she completely changed. It's okay to mess up at work, it's okay to make a mistake and have to redo it, and I would have been forgiving had she just gotten confused it happens, but where it stops being okay is when you blatantly lie and become rude to your customers because of your errors. Her answer to our question was, "Well, I already asked you if that one was almond milk and you told me no." She never asked us that, because had she we never would have said no. It was rude and disrespectful, her attitude becoming sour and unwelcoming. If you've spent even one second in customer service, you know to treat customers with respect and be accommodating, something she seemed to have glossed over apparently. And the cherry on top of that shit show, once I finally got my hot chocolate, is that it was cold, while the other two drinks were, as the name would say, hot. I'm sure this is a great location otherwise, but that one worker really ruined it for me and detours me from wanting to go back there when in Carmichael. read more

I just wanted to say that I had a great experience at this location. I pulled in and I only had Apple Pay as a form of payment (they always use an iPad so I thought for sure they had Apple Pay) but for some reason it wasn't working and I felt really embarrassed that I didn't even have five dollars to pay for my drink, the gentleman that helped me was very sweet and instead of canceling my order he said it would be on the house I felt so grateful and pleased with my experience I just hope that someone reads this and gives the employees at this location some well earned praise. I love Dutch Bros and was excited that they are opening up down here. I always ordered a mocha when up North where they were. I always ordered non fat. I really like how they were not overly sweet and very rich chocolate. When I got my order they said "non fat latte right?" I told them it was a mocha. I overheard them say "can you make this drink a mocha?" The guy then gave me the drink and said to see what I thought. It was very weak and not much chocolate. I asked if they just took the latte and tried to make it a mocha. He said that is what they always do if it is non fat. He said they have to use syrup and not powder on non fat orders. I told him that was odd as I had been to a lot of Dutch Bros and had never had that issue before. He said that they make them this way and that is how all places should make them. Maybe their other drinks are good, and maybe this isn't actually how they make drinks, but because they messed up my order it was a story they made up. I don't know, but my drink was not at the level my expectations for a Dutch Bros. I am feeling they over expanded and just becoming another large corporation like Starbucks. read more
